Via Emilia Italian Restaurant

Lunch was very good. Owner was very accommodating. Love their Piadina. Their Risotto was also good. Waitress was very attentive. Even received complimentary birthday cakes. One draw back. We were served mineral water without being asked first. The charges for 10 bottles of mineral water came out to be 1,500 baht. A shocked for us. 150 baht per bottle. Guess they do not serve regular water.

Lovely and cozy place. Good service with nice lunch set menu. Love a little chair for purse keeper, so cute and good service mind. Food was good, big portion. ️ definitely go back.

Nice place hiding in mid city bangkok with warm attention from owner and staff, serve traditional italian dish in usual taste thus tag along behind others famous ristorente, fair price but rather high markup price on wine list, parking on the street around ร้านอร่อยในบรรยากาศสบายๆ จอดรถในซอยแคบรอบร้าน เจ้าของใส่ใจมาก

Very delicious, very attentive and friendly staff, authentic Italian food. The Italian owner asked about our satisfaction. It is pricey but you definitely get what you are paying for - it's worth the price. The tiramisu is the best I had in Bangkok so far. The whine list is extensive. Very busy on a weekday around 8 pm so it may be advisable to call in advance.

Delicious food and staff are all very attentive and friendly. The price is a little high but worth it.

Great food and truly authentic taste, as if you were in Italy. The ambience is fantastic, with impressive attention to even the smallest detail in furnishings, colors, decorations, etc. Very pleasant place to eat.

Casual & comfort style Italian restaurant for everyone even you may feel a bit upscale setting & decor. Recommend pasta, steak, pizza which are all good. Parking is a bit challenging & the street is pretty dark. Booking is required.

I'm writing this review on the behalf of my wife who had with her girl-friend on November 16th a traumatic experience with the owner at Villa Emilia. We have been regular customers of this restaurant and also ordered for delivery very often during the lockdown therefore it was surprising to hear her story.

On that day, they ordered "best selection of cold cuts called “Affiettuti Mistsi” at 440 THB + (15USD) and they were extremely disappointed when they saw the plate. It consisted of exactly 2 small pieces of four different cold cuts and served without any pickles, olives salad leave she gave him a feedback in a polite and factual way. They were not complaining about the price but about the value. She and her girlfriend were shocked when he answered back, sat at their table (without being invited to) and said "that's your expectation, its not my style", then he complained about the prices he bought the ham from distributors and being rude. As they ordered food to take away and two bottle of wine, the total bill amounted to THB 7000 and the owner never showed up again and there was no commercial gesture on the bill!

I am wondering if the owner would have behaved in such a rude way I were the one sitting at the table and not two Asian ladies alone but for obvious reasons we will never know as we blacklisted this restaurant. Needless to say that we have shared this story on social networks and to all our friends asking to forward them to their respective networks.

As I always like to end up on a positive note. Fortunately, there are so many other Italian excellent restaurants in Bangkok who consider their customers as guests and are open to constructive comment as they know that it is the only way to improve and stay at the top and we look forward to visit them and share of course this incredible story!

We tried fish and mussels also margarita pizza with anchovies. We will come back to try more dishes.
