Good atmosphere and reasonable price. However, I don’t like this bar because this bar allows the customers to smoke.

Welcome to Vanilla Sky where you have to climb 5 flights of stairs with no aircon to pay twice as much for cocktails as Novotel or Escape, both in walking distance.

Good value rooftop. Came at around 5pm and were the only ones there. Started to get a bit busy at 6: 30pm however not overcrowded. Drinks fairly priced. The place is got an average feel to it, certainly not upper end but it’s comfortable. Free entry and no dress code

Nice view, good vibe, not too crowded, but I don't understand how the signature cocktails are like smaller then the regular cocktails. Drinks are between 300 - 450 for ok drinks and then the taxes come in. Why don't places in the city have it already included in the price

Great rooftop bar with good service and music. DJ on Fridays plays the top pop hits at reasonable volume. Drinks around 200-300 baht. Views are nice. A great setting to chat and enjoy drinks.

You will have to climb several flights of stairs once reaching the 35 floor to get to the bar.

A nice place to grab some drinks after work. View is nice. The place is not noisy, so it is perfect for ones to chill out with some fine drinks. Comparing to other rooftop bars, this place offer its drinks at somewhat reasonable price. One of my recommended places!

Nice rooftop bar with a great view, also good for sunset watching. Free entry also for non-hotel guests, just take the elevator to floor 35 and use the stairs to get to the bar. Cocktails a bit pricey but basically normal for the rooftop bar category. Comfortable because is not too crowded and there is no strict dress code.

Great view, but the public wifi comes out of the sloped glass. Sit right next to it, it won't reach anywhere else.

Great views. Not so crowded which makes it relaxing. Beautiful sunset. Staff not so attentive but still friendly.

Probably a 3.5 rating from me given I’m not a big cocktail / rooftop bar sort of person but nevertheless it’s a fantastic location and view. The weather in November is perfect for a sunset cocktail. Large range of cocktails and other drinks to choose from but if you’re looking for a cheap drink this is not the place.
If u have a large party it might be wise to make a reservation. We arrived at 5.30pm on a Saturday as part of a larger group but there was still plenty of seating.

Toilets are three flights of stairs down from the rooftop.

This bar with a DJ has beautiful panoramic views, but you are going to pay for it. With the drinks flowing until 2 a.m. And prices starting at 320 Baht, be prepared to have some moolah ready. With that being said, this is a prime photography spot in Bangkok so perhaps one drink is worth the ‘gram.

Great cocktails, nice view, acceptable (but still high!) prices and a chill atmosphere without enforced dresscode. Very nice staff as well, fully recommended!

Great rooftop bar - easy to find and a wide selection of quality drinks. Cocktails are especially yummy.

It’s not the cheapest bar you will find - but for a romantic evening with someone special (or sometwo) you will be well satisfied here

Amazing rooftop bar views and levels of viewing points. Has a nice feel to it and is less crowded. Staircase is more work to climb up from level 35 to level 37/38 rooftop. But great views all round!

We got to the bar at 5.30pm to find it almost empty. We were immediately told that we would not be granted access to the bar since we had our two (well dressed and well behaved) children with us. This was supposedly due to a new obscure goverment regulation not allowing children into bars. Strangely enough no other bar and neither the internet know about this rule.
This seems to only be Compass Skyview policy which they should at least make known on their webpage so families don't get dressed up, travel halfway across town to tell their disappointed children that there will be no sun set but an 1.5h taxi drive back in rushhour traffic.
Vanilla Sky Bar, if you have family discriminating policies, at least man up and make them known
In my opinion this behaviour should not be supported in any way. There are plenty of alternative places in Bangkok.

The view is great. The drinks are very nice and price is reasonable. Extremely recommend for couple or chill out after work. There are variety of drinks (Cocktail, liquor, spirit, beer and wine etc.) and they also serve oyster and Sweet Buffet (Chocolate). Their recommended drink are the Vanilla Sky and Taste of Asia both taste very nice. I really love this place.

Amazing views with a DJ, prices are reasonable compared to other sky bars what I’ve read about. It was a romantic experience

My favorite rooftop bar. Not too crowded and incredible cocktails, especially the gin cocktails. The DJs on weekends are also awesome.
