I thought it was a ramen shop, but it looks more like an izakaya.
There were also customers with children.

Used for lunch
I wonder if stir-fried vegetables are sweet and suitable for Thai people?
Gyoza is standard

Arrived on weekend around 1: 30pm. No wait only a few patrons. Sat by the curtain carts area which felt more private.

Table full of condiments caught my eye. Extensive menu and tried mostly the signature items.

The chicken ramen, skewers, Gyoza & pickled cucumber.

Food arrived fairly quick. Ramen is decent. Broth is good but not as flavorful as other places. Nice touch with garlic grater.

The Gyoza tasted good but the filling broke apart too easily but the skin is thin and crispy which was good. Pickled cucumber was good but the portion felt tad too small.

Meal highlight was skewers. Highly recommend ordering Chicken skin. It was delicious and not oily. Cooked just right because most of the fat has been rendered and the skin was crispy but not burnt. Would return for the skewers.

Service was overall attentive. We ordered green tea which was free refill and they refilled it 3x.

Unfortunately there is No parking. We parked at Emquartier and walked in the afternoon which was very very hot hence the need to refill our drinks 3x. Toilets are decent clean and spacious.

Area & restaurant is not handicap friendly — too many steps and uneven ground.

It was SOOOO delicious!
Especially their Garlic Uma Uma Ramen was unbelievable flavorful, umami. We also ate Tsukemen and was very well balanced and flavorful as well.
The Gyoza are small but blew our mind when we had our first bite. Last but not least, the Caramel Pudding was so incredible that we had to order it again. We'd recommend 10/10!

Very tasty authentic Japanese. Good variety. Good staff. The gyoza, spicy mince rice bowl was super tasty but the sesame okra and greens are superb.

By coincidence we stumbled at this Japanese restaurant specialised in Ramen. From the outside it looks like a small place, though the eating place at the second floor is big enough to host about 50 guests. Established in 1953 this place is worth your visit, comfortable pleasant, friendly venue. The ramen we had was tremendous, so were the sate's. Yummie all over

Hot and delicious Japanese southern style ramen noodle. There are many types of ramen soup. (Tonkotsu, miso, spicy (actually not so spicy) …) the secret concentrated soup sauce is from Japan.
Thought they serve ramen by robot when arrived and saw a long table without staff at GF. 2F is more wider and cozy space. There is tatami style seat.
There are a lot of foods (deep fried, BBQ, salad…) besides ramen menu. The alcohol nomihoudai (2 hrs buffet of beverage) is available and 590B which limited items.
Their service is very fast once you order foods. They won’t let you wait too long. Staffs are friendly and nice. That’s the point why many peoples come.
Overall it’s suitable for family, friend gathering, single to enjoy it.

The food here is really great. The wings are probably the best wings ever. Someone how they get the amazing juice inside the Crispiness of the wing. How do they do it? Amazing.

Service was good but food was mediocre and expensive. No parking provided. You can park at the nearby Prasanmitr Plaza but you'll have to pay for the parking. For an hour, parking will cost 35 baht.

Had a small bowl of Ramen. Serving size was small but the richness of the soup more than made up for it. Gyoza also very tasty but small as well.

I don't know whether this restaurant was great in the past, but as of today, for me at least. It was atrocious.

I ordered all of the three recommended menu which considers of tonkotsu ramen, toriyaki and hitokuchi gyōza.

The ramen was horrible to say the least. It might looked great in the photo. But, the soup was blander than water. As a matter of fact, the water I ordered tasted far better. It just tasted terrible. It's nothing like any authentic tonkotsu ramen I've eaten so far in my entire life both in Bangkok and Fukuoka like Shinshin, Kanadaya, Ippudo, Ichiran, Ikkousha, etc. I think it is an insult to ramen and its legacy.

I was told by the staff, when complained, that the chef "renovated" the recipe to use chicken bone as well to have lighter soup because people like it that way. I don't whether it's the chef fault or the cook, but I couldn't taste anything mentioned by the staff, whether it's chicken or pork. It was as if I was served from the wrong pot. When I told the staff to try and taste the soup, they reluctantly refused.

This is not to mention that the chashu was cold and unnecessarily thick.

As a matter of the staff, quite few of them are probably not sober. I couldn't hear any coherent sentences out from their mouths, and I'm native Thai. They also dropped the menu and my chopsticks, then laughed as if they're high. I didn't know why they found it amusing about it.

The yakitori and gyōza tasted fine though. Those are the only good thing about this god-forsaken restaurant.

My verdict? Save your money. Go someplace else. Even go to Hachiban for god's sake. Just anywhere but here. Despite many good reviews here, please research from other sources as well. It seems like I'm not the only one who have a problem with this restaurant recently. Don't make the same mistakes I made.

You feel like you are in Japan here. Good ramen but a tad too salty. Good yakitori and not salty (you can add your own salt). We ordered one mala ramen, one original and one garlic oil plus mixed yakitori. Just nice for three people if you are not huge eaters. Excellent service. Japanese like their toilet clean and you find a really clean toilet here.

The broth taste salty to me. Noodle is spongy and soup is served hot. The curry rice and sauce is not been served hot.

Hands down one of the best Tonkotsu Ramen in Bangkok. Bankara and Kio just pip it to first and second spot, but this is truly great ramen. The pork is melt-in-your-mouth, the egg seasoned perfectly, the broth rich and deep. Everything is solid. Definitely worth checking out.
