I had massages at a total of 3 places and this was the best. He did acupressure with a good understanding of how muscles are used.
The masseuse Rocky is good. I recommend it!

Before leaving Bangkok, I specially selected a relatively high-end massage parlor to experience it. Overall, it is really comfortable. You can also choose the scent of essential oils (the ones that are very comfortable and not very pungent). Highly recommend

I’ve visited Treasure Spa at Siam on numerous occasions pre-covid when I’m in Bangkok. Those experiences were great. Thus, the repeated visits.

However, for the recent visit on 6 September, 2022,4 - 6.30 p.m, I was greatly disappointed. (This time round, I stayed quite a distance away from Siam but made a deliberate trip to Treasure Spa.)

My husband and I paid 5800 baht for Deep Tissue Massage x 1, Foot and Leg massage x 1 and Aroma Oil Massage x 1.

The impact of the massage was negligible. The deep tissue massage ended up being mostly “skin rub”. At some junctures, force was used. As someone who goes for massages pretty often, I definitely found the techniques and method of pressing odd, making me feel very uneasy during those times.

While I was feeling upset during the message, I just tolerated it - purely out of respect for the masseur. Thus, after the massage, I didn’t want to complete the feedback form given to me. However, my husband, out of politeness, completed his and mine on my behalf, giving an average of 7/10 for every aspect on the forms.

I left the spa, feeling upset - having wasted time and money. Nonetheless, I cast those frustrations aside, not wanting to ruin my final day in Bangkok.

The very next day, however, I started feeling pain on my left shoulder blade, right side of my neck and lower back. Rashes started to appear on my legs. This prompted me to recall the very hard press on my left shoulder blade and the masseur resting her whole upper body on me while I was in a seated position (with legs folded and crossed) towards the final few minutes of the session. It also left me wondering about the oil quality because when I smelled the variety of oils presented to me pre-massage for selection, my nose could hardly pick up any scent.

It’s been 3 days since the massage. The pain and aches on my body persist - most profoundly felt on the neck and lower back. Normal moisturising lotion doesn’t help, so I’m using steroid cream to help the rashes subside.

It was not the huge disappointment in the quality of service that prompted me write this review, but really the pain and discomfort that I’m having which led me to wonder if the masseur is qualified and adequately trained. The salt to the wound was the non-response from the spa to the email I sent them.

For now, I could only hope that the pain would go off eventually and I do not need to seek medical treatment for it.

I love the spa and massage here, this is my second time and i used the voucher i bought 2 years ago during covid. Spa therapist is polite and nice and very gentle. Place is clean and reception is friendly. I booked for rose in paradise 3 hrs and really enjoyed. For aroma massage, you can choose the body scrub sense and aroma oil.

I and my wife was there on may 24 2022. We took a 4 hour package. And it was such a wonderful experience. The therapist were good and the place was very clean and has classy ambience. Definitely we will be back again.
