Beautifully set on a terrace overlooking the river and sights of Bangkok, the team at Trader Vic’s serves delicious classic dishes and drinks for a relaxing evening. Our host Tae was very kind and attentive, will come back for sure!

Trader Vic's at Anantara Hotel in Bangkok Thailand is a must-visit for any Sunday brunch lover. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is simply magical.

The first thing that struck me when I walked into Trader Vic's was the stunning view of the Chao Phraya River. The restaurant is located right on the riverbank, so you have an unobstructed view of all the boats and activity. It's a truly breathtaking setting.

I started my brunch with the Mai Tai, which is the signature cocktail at Trader Vic's. It's a mix of rum, orange liqueur, lime juice and orgeat, and it's perfectly balanced and refreshing.

For my main course, I had the Hawaiian Pork Chops. The pork chops were cooked to perfection, and they were so tender and juicy. They were served with a delicious pineapple and mango chutney, and a side of mashed potatoes.

For dessert, I had the Mango Ice Cream. The ice cream was made with fresh mangoes, and it was so rich and creamy. It was the perfect ending to a perfect brunch.

The service at Trader Vic's was also impeccable. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, and they made sure that I had everything I needed.

The atmosphere at Trader Vic's is simply magical. The restaurant is decorated with Polynesian-inspired décor, and there is a live band playing Hawaiian music. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of Bangkok and relax.

Overall, I had an absolutely amazing experience at Trader Vic's. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and unforgettable Sunday brunch.

Both dishes are good especially the French fries which comes with pork ribs. Love the warm welcome service as well. Recommend this place for a dinner date.

Another fabulous Sunday brunch at Trader Vic’s. Impeccable service with an excellent choice of hot and cold seafood, sushi and sashimi, plus all the regulars you would expect to find at brunch and some you might not! Great Mexican and Indian choices too and don’t forget desert.

It is a very nice place. Very light inside. Not like the old dark wood it used to be (I liked the old better). The crepe suzette is a must. The Mai Tai is ok, the Pina colada was poor.

Today, I accidentally came through the service at treder vic’s. I heard that Mai-Tai cocktail is very famous here, so I tried it once. It turned out to be unforgettable. It tastes very good.

The bartender, his name is Mr. Pream, is very friendly. In addition, he made a fantastic drinks for us.

Gotta love this place. Beautiful outdoor seating overlooking the chao phraya river. Great finger food and amazing tiki cocktails.

I used here for dinner during my stay at Anantara.
The taste of the food is more delicate and tasty than I thought, so whatever meal you choose will definitely be good as well.
I felt the prices were a little pricy, but the food was delicious and their service was full of hospitality, so I was satisfied.
I would like to visit again.

This experience is worth every penny. The food, service, and atmosphere is above excellent. We’d gladly come back, and it’s definitely a spot of a celebration, or visiting family. There could be a few more vegetarian options, but they worked with me to help me! Absolutely come here.:)

Had a birthday celebration there. I loved the food and the portion size was okay. I had a candle on the cake. Loved it.

Outstanding atmosphere! The restaurant is located literally on the river on the back of an absolutely beautiful resort. Even in the heat of Bangkok, the evening was extremely pleasant to be sitting outside.

The food was excellent. I started with the crab rangoon, which was crispy and delicious. I moved on to the Sichuan prawns, which were also fantastic. The complimentary breads and compound butters were very good as well.

Strangely, the lowest point may have been the Mai Tais. Thailand is a long way from the parts of the world where rum is a big thing, and I think it showed. The rum tasted like it was probably a run of the mill well rum. And any flavor of orgeat was notably missing. That being said, it was a good cocktail. It just did not taste like an authentic Trader Vic's Mai Tai.

Probably the highest point of the visit was the staff. They were warm and welcoming and attentive.

Overall I would give the experience in 8 out of 10.

After having a pleasant evening at the Longtail Bar, our group strolled over the Trader Vic's expecting the level of service to carry through.

We were made to sit by the door leading to the outdoor patio and requested FOH staff to leave the door leading out shut so no mosquitoes made their way to our area.

We were a table of 4, and ordered our food with instructions to bring course by course out. After 35 minutes of waiting, all courses were brought to our table at one time and the doors by us left open the entire time.

Shame, as the food was decent but service was sub par.

Amazing place, the food was so so good and the staff went above and beyond for us, so kind? ! Came here to specifically try the original Mai Tai which was so good and we were really happy leaving because of the good service. Thank you! Definitely recommend

Probably the best Sunday Brunch for me in term of value, service and taste. Well, those are everything for the restaurant right?

The food was extensive from sea to land they are all come in plethora forms. The price was 2,400+ per head and it was worth every baht.

With unlimited lobster and lamb chop with this ridiculous price? How could they manage to get along with it?

The service also great along with the kids play zone which you can omakase (entrust) your child to the babysitters.

We came a couple weeks back and the service and music were great! However, we just came for drinks and we’re disappointed. We got the original Mai Tai and the Mai Tai flight. In my opinion the drinks tasted very light (almost watery) and I didn’t feel the drink either. But everything else is great. Maybe our drinks were just duds.

Trader Vic's is one of the many restaurant options at the fabulous Anantara Riverside Hotel complex. The interior is filled with the familiar Trader Vic's 'kitschy' island vibe decor. The location has an added bonus of a spacious covered outdoor seating area with serene views of the Chao Praya river. We went for drinks & dessert to enjoy the Saturday night live jazz show on the deck.

The location is great and the staff were welcoming and friendly.

Outstanding evening; amazing food, service and wonderful energy there. We loved the hotel.
