Loved our stay here. The two ladies who work the front desk are nice and very helpful. Both speak fluent English and they are happy to help you with your Thai as well!

The rooms are clean with a warm atmosphere, while still being cooled by AC. The location can’t be beat! It’s close to metro, restaurants, temples and more.

We stayed at The Royal ThaTien Village for one night from November 24 to November 25,2023. The choice of this hotel was influenced by its location. It is located in the central attractions area, close to the metro (which is important for going to the airport). The hotel itself is small, the room was standard. Towels, all bath and toiletries available. Refrigerator, safe, hairdryer, air conditioning, everything is working. There are no complaints. The only thing is that there are steep stairs to get to the third floor with suitcases. But we survived it

Amazing location close to metro, bust stop, supermarket and just above the cafe. Very spacious room with working A/C and there was daily cleaning and we got fresh water and towels daily. Our window was facing busy loud street so I’d recommend to have ear buds with you, but even me sensitive sleeper could get some sleep with ear plugs:)

I had to report them to the police for theft because the owner has given me 0 cooperation on a simple request to investigate internally. On the contrary, he first yelled and denied, then lied to me that he will show me the tape, then stopped answering, then hanged up when I called from Thai number. When I finally got fed up and went to the police he or his worker claimed they had no recording on premises. Once the officers showed them all the cameras one can see on public photos online, they said the tape has been recorded over! All the while he knew I have reported the theft a week ago and he has promised me I could renew the tape. He was simply stalling for time hoping I will not get to Bangkok on time to do anything about it. How shameful!

Stayed here 3 nights. Nice guesthouse with restaurant. The staff is really nice, doesn’t speak a lot of English. Room was clean and room service very friendly, you get a free bottle of water everyday. We had direct view of Wat Pho and the location is great to visit the old town of Bangkok.

Great location, across the street from Wat Pho temple! Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. We stayed in building B and the room was spacious and clean and the staff was friendly. The restaurant at the hotel is delicious and very reasonably priced, we loved their pad Thai and iced coffees.

Clean and nice rooms
Location is great - near Great Palace, Wat Arun and other temples. They are all in walking distance.
Street food options limited, but good restaurants around.
Nice coffee downstairs

The room is neat and clean! Receptionist is friendly and helpful. It has a small Thai restaurant under the rooms, easy for travellers having their meal.

I stayed at this hotel 2 nights while at Bangkok.
The location is superb just 5 minutes walk from Grand Palace. There are amazing temples, restaurants and bars nearby and several transport options as well.
Service was good (bit disappointed we didn't get more advice on the dressing code for the palace just meters away)
and the rooms were super spacious with good views.
Only I would mention that the room was lacking a big mirror, just a small one in the bathroom, and a bed side table (you need to get up to turn off the light). The hotel owns a restaurant/ coffee shop would prove handy if you want a breakfast/ food close to your room.

Great location. Quite which was hard to find in this big city. Also not far from some of the top tourist spots.

The hotel is in a great location for the Grand Royal Palace as well as Wat Arun.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and have good air conditioners! The bed however was the hardest bed I've slept on.
Service was friendly and efficient.

The location is good if you want to stay in the old town. It is right next to the Wat Pho site. You must keep in mind that just some rooms have views to the temple, be aware that not all of them do. Like Virginia Woolf, we wanted a room with a view, and were given top floor room facing the narrow side road, which meant that it was very hot during the day, due to the sun and no views (what we have was some cockroaches in the bathroom). We asked every day if it was possible to change the room. Even though every day we could see the rooms with the nice views being cleaned for new guests we were told that it was all busy. That could have been the case, but we felt that there was no intention for her to make any changes. Overall, bad costumer service.

Had a horrible experience. The staff are very unhelpful and rude. The rooms are tiny (10×10). There is a steep ladder in the room which takes up all the legspace. I had to put my suitcase in the bathroom. The staff offered no assistance to help us carry the luggage. When we misplaced our room key, they asked us to pay 500 baht (1000 rupees). When we asked the staff about the hotel policy and whether we had to pay 500 baht or not they threatened to call the police. The sheets are torn, the rooms are not properly dusted, the AC is bad, the shower does not work properly and the faucet does not have a stand. I do not recommend this hotel to any Indian family.

This is a great place to stay with easy access to Wat Pho, the Royal Palace, riverboat taxi, Wat Arun, the flower market, and street food. I've stayed more than once, and would even come back again. There's fantastic coffee nearby too if that influences your decision on where to stay (it does mine).
