The Racquet Club reviews
51I've been going consistently to the badminton court of The Racquet Club for some time, it is great with one slight caveat, the price for day passes is too expensive for badminton sessions and the month and year memberships aren't affordable for weekly visits.
Parking attendants can be quite rude. In particular, the non-high vis (black top and trousers) gentleman taking care of parking at building 4. Also screwed up when telling me to continue reversing and essentially caused cosmetic damage to my car. I understand the parking attendant at building 3 was also quite rude.
The cost for membership is extremely expensive when you see what the condition is of some of the facilities #overpriced
Come to join football practice.
I only use building 4 and I haven’t seen all yet it’s
Sports complex next ti Samitivej hospital seems to have badminton court, bouldering, sports gyms.and more.cafes, cafe with playground area… cake shops, flower shops.
Parking: yes
Limited but stuff usually helpful to find space,
make sure you get stamped by building where you used.

A great sports club with tennis courts. If you need an English-speaking coach, ask for coach Dee, he is amazing – I was a total beginner and made a lot of progress with him in just 2 months. One private trainer session is usually around 650 THB
You cannot book a tennis court only – you need a “day pass” for an entire club (about 500 THB) or a monthly membership. But that gives you access to everything including group fitness classes, gym area, badminton, squash, table tennis, pool & snooker, swimming pool, multi sport court & discounts on massages etc. So good value for money if you’re interested in any of that
The club is in good shape, lockers / showers / toilets always clean and functional
Keep in mind that tennis courts are rather covered than indoors, so during hot months peak heat hours can be very difficult to handle. Mornings & evenings are fine though, and the courts have lighting (last bookable time slot is 8pm). You can rent a racquet for 120 THB/day
Went there for rock climbing. This place is not for beginners. They charge you for teaching how to use the equipments (other places taught it for free), and staff at the reception did not inform us about this beforehand, so the zone we could enjoy was very limited if we do not want to pay the extra fee.
Staff told us to wait for introduction but just wandered off somewhere else, we had to walk up to call them ourselves. One of the staff was also very rude and not helpful. Cleanliness is ok but bathroom smells weird. Really disappointed for the level of service I expected with the price and location.
Good for fitness and other sports activities. Also have playground for kids and indoor playground.
We started going to the Racquet Club when we moved to Bangkok in 2018; mainly for the sports academy so the kids could hopefully socialised and meet friends when they come to Bangkok during school holidays. We only found out last week when we were there sorting out some leftover pre covid lessons and day pass that if you bought 10 lessons, you didn’t have to also pay for 10 day passes to use the club. Instead of being apologetic Both the person who introduced himself as the manager of the sports club and propbably the manager of the front desk just kept asking repeatedly on why I had purchased both. This was quite a laughable because when we turned up to sign up for classes, we were also told by the team of staff that thats what was needed to join the sports academy!
I feel that The racquet is not intrested in making things even though this was their mistake to start with. The club manager half blamed the previous front desk team but not himself and the current front desk team just didnt want to fix some on esle’s mistake; they did not and could not return any calls and the excuse was they got my number wrong and when I first offer to then go and see them at the club to explain, a staff member said they are very busy and couldnt talk to me.
Moral of the story, if you buy 10 lessons at the academy, there is no need for you to also pay for the passes to use the club.
Other than the above, the club is vast and offers a good variety of sports for everyone in a not quite state of the art but sufficient level.
A lot of activities like badminton courts, tennis courts, fitness, swimming pools, and rock climbing. The price is 500+ for one day pass and fitness is pretty old
A decent place until you get injured by sport. Staff support you nothing even the guidance to get to the hospital nearby. They have 0 attempt to help.

- squash
- badminton
- fitness
- rock climing (available climbing area for newbies)
- Towel also available for shower (clean restroom)
- Dryer available
Parking is impossible - tennis court almost impossible to book over last month till we gave up - I’d say - and they want to sell you yearly membership
Good place for indoor sports.
Got 1-day pass approx. 500 Baht per person which is reasonable price that we can do many activities like rock climbing, badminton etc.
*Can rent equipment or climbing shoes.
If you are not member, prices are crazy.
PS: I already read you replied one person that daily prices are competitive according to you. Great.
According to me, two people playing squash for 1 hour on a weekday at 1000 THB (that doesn't include renting a used racket) is expensive.
Thanks.
The telephone for tennis reservation is not connected in the early morning.
It is inconvenient to be unable to make a reservation online even though it is a luxury sports club.
The climbing wall - Urban Playground deserves the five star rating but the tennis facilities need an upgrade.
The lighting on the indoor courts is very suspect and if they invested a bit more in it and the surface upkeep the courts would be a perfect option for the rainy season.
If your coming for the day to use various facilities it's great value for money as there's a decent swimming pool, gym and badminton facilities too.
The climbing wall itself is well maintained and routes are varied all the time. Plus they provide free ropes for lead climbing which many other facilities around the world do not so that's a big plus if you don't fancy forking out 100-200 usd on your own.
I love this gym. Membership is not hugely expensive and you get access to climbing, swimming, gym and lots of courts. There's lots of exercise classes to sign up to.
