32 The best jazz barㅠ_ㅠ
I definitely come back every time I come to Bangkok!
Pizza and pasta restaurants
What’s a wonderful place, we would love to come every weekend!
The cocktail was particularly impressive and unique, the cocktail Khun Eddie made is followed my name!
The atmosphere in the store is very good, the music is great, the price is not very expensive, it is suitable for friends to gather for birthdays!
I visited on a Thursday evening. The piano bass drum trio was joined by a female vocalist, and the harmony between them, as they comfortably rearranged jazz standard songs and made up for each other's occasional mistakes, was impressive. The pianist especially stood out, and the vocals were also flawless.
Although the audience was a bit noisy and shouted loudly as a group, I was satisfied with the overall atmosphere and the staff's response. The non-alcoholic cocktail tasted clean too.
+Please note that discounts are available if you have a Marriot Bonvoy membership.
The sight of the Bangkok train passing by outside the window while jazz is swinging is something I will remember for a long time.
Chill space, extra useful for business meetings too!
Can order food from anywhere in the hotel. Jazz in the evening is also very nice ️
Excellent jazz bar. Service was attentive and friendly, and jazz musicians were a pleasure to listen to after a long day. Would highly recommend this place as a peaceful, relaxing end to an evening. It was a pleasure.
Grear jazz bar. Nice ambience and the jazz tunes are lovely. The service is attentive. The drinks are pricey, but it is expected for the type of venue and being a hotel. The drinks are not special so I feel that can improve to add more flavour and artistic flair to the place. They have Jazz everyday, hours vary, being the longest on Saturdays from 20: 00 to 22: 45.
This hotel had always been my favorite since I was a kid. However, today’s experience had left a bad taste in my mouth. I went to an afternoon tea with my friend who got two afternoon tea vouchers. The waitress clearly discriminated against us. First of all, we used two vouchers. A waitress informed us that one voucher could be used to order a total of four drinks. Therefore, we should be getting eight drinks. We asked a waitress if we were eligible to order eight drinks to which she laughed and smiled very DRYLY and replied, “ok, fine you could order eight drinks” (ก็ได้ค่ะแปดแก้วก็ได้). What is that supposed to mean? We exercised our rights, and as a result, we looked cheap? If you want to work in this field, at least keep your expression in check girl. If you used your head, you could tell that the vouchers did not just fell from the sky. Do you know about privilege and customer relations?
Later, I ordered a glass of wine, which should come with a complimentary snacks. I did not get any snacks until I asked for it. Other guest which were all foreigners did not even ask for the snacks to be served, a waitress even asked them if they wanted snacks. Apart
from those unpleasant experiences, our table were not attended to as much as other tables. Every five stars hotel that I had been to were very attentive, they would see to it if you had likely finished your meal and asked if you need the table cleared. This afternoon; however, a waitress just walked in and cleared the table (not all) without saying anything, I did thank the waitress. Later on when we had clearly finished our meal and was going to order some drinks, no one cleared our table.
Please do not look down on customers and fellow Thai citizens. It is an act of a sycophantic short-sighted fool.
If you are a fan of jazz, you should visit here.cocktail not expensive.just normal price in bangkok around 300 or 400 baht excluding a tax.but a jazz show was amazing.especially a drummer and bass player was really amazing when they was playing a solo.
Great atmosphere, great location, excellent vibe and excellent service! Good food, a perfect place for gathering and social
Sunday brunch buffet is 3166 Baht net per person. The best part is oyster bar with gillardeau, fine de claire and irish. Good quality and very fresh. There are many other food choices. However, I didn’t enjoy the taste of other dishes that much. That’s minus one star. And because of the price, I took out another star. If I could enjoy the whole meal with oysters, this meal would be very pleasant then.
I didn’t know there is afternoon tea set. Compared to price, desserts are quite good, and I like I can try different teas. Still it would be better if the tea cup was served being hot.
I think everything changed here since reopened after covid 19 spread. All the staff still kind and do their work but musicians not level enough, menu, taste of food, interior lighting, etc. We see BTS train passing outside, distracted, no more same ambiance. Sorry, just my personal opinion but deeply disappointed. Where is gone one of the most beautiful places in Bangkok?
Excellent place for jazz music on Thurs, Fri and Sat dinner. There's brunch jazz on Sunday as well. Wide selection of good and drinks. Place is located 2 levels above the ground level or 1 level above the BTS skywalk.
May I speak on behalf on an awful experience (treated with an Abusive manner) as a customer at The Living Room Jazz bar.
Me myself is an regular customer (10 visit+) received such an life time disgrace service from your hotel staff, an experience I will never forget for my entire life, An discrimination just by the way I dress?
It all started when me myself alone make an early stop by at the Living Room Jazz bar 18.30 as an Jazz lover, I was waiting for my special seats at right wing near the speaker. However that seat was taken by other customers so I request the staff 3 times “If that customer left that seat can you please reseat me to that right wing please? ” Meanwhile I order a Special Champagne from outside (via Grab) to pair it with the meals im planning to have it with (but kept the champagne in my car) … with the consideration that If I didn’t get seated by the right wing I will not Pop this Special Bottle of mine. So I waiting about 2-3 hrs, Ordering light food as an Appetizer, Egg Benedict and two watermelon blended juice BUT HERE IT GOES! …I went to the toilet for no longer than 5minute for my light duty after that This RUDE waitress barge in to me and said “Hey! You forgot to Pay for the Bills” (with an attitude) so I replied “Sorry Im not leaving yet” (while im posting promote for the bar via instragram) I then added “Dont worry Im a Regular Customer, I’m waiting for that seat in the Right wing” then that RUDE waitress reply. “we already clear your table and gave it to someone else” My Mind thinking (well, I just went to the toilet for 5min and you kicked me out?)
so she provide me the Left Wing seat instead with im satisfied with, after I was seated my mood was very disappointed by the service given. So in order to ease all the negative vibe that this RUDE waitress gave me I tell another waitress
“Please order me a bottle of water and please reserved this seat for me, I’m getting my champagne to Pop” then reply about the corkage charge fee which im well aware of.
While I was walking out I saw This Manager quick grabs a call and gave me a suspicious look… I was thinking to myself “Is it because the way I dress, not wearing a suit so I look like a free-rider who like to eat and run? Does this kind of discrimination still exist? But I’m Seriously an Regular customer of the bar, there wouldnt be such a thing”
HERES THE CLIMAX!
after I arrived at my car for the champagne theres this hotel staff taking a photo around, I’m not kid, I know he’s tried to take a photo of me and my car (while I was Getting my Champagne and gears ready)
In the same time that same old RUDE waitress Barge into my car with an very Bad attitude and poor facial expressions, by all means its “Really Bad”… shouting at let me pay the Bills! So I gave her my Wisdom Prestige Credit Card right away and tagged along me with my Champagne to prove my point to the Manager, I Admit I was really Mad with this level of service… as a regular customer I was very disappointed by the discrimination that the service team gave me.
I’m also an owner of Multiple high-end restaurants, I do understand the procedure of the management protocols and misunderstandings may occur. But What I Will not stand is that discrimination and that poor facial expressions and Attitude of that RUDE staff. I will not step my foot at Sheraton Grande ever again, and I’ll make sure so does all my friend until I received an Apology from that Arrogant RUDE waitress.ps-if you think the statement above is not true, I dare the management team go check you surveillance camera (CCTV).
Great place for cool jazz in Bangkok. It is in Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit hitel a Luxury collection of Marriott chain. There is complementary grubs during happy hours befire 8 pm. Occasional invited famous jazz from overseas appearance for a periond of few weeks also. The service is impecable.
A cocktails here is always a good choice! Nice place in one of the best hotels in BKK. The staff is great! Evening with live jazz music. I loving it!
I have stayed in Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit for 3 weeks. Despite without the club lounge, it has The Living Room and it has well exceeded my expectations. Love this place, food, the drinks and hors d'oeuvres are Awesome, above all, the staff is Awesomely Wonderful. The staff is led by K. Nit (Ben) along with her wonderful team, K. Nok, K. Jin, K. Bia, K. Min and everyone. In the evening, the Living Room also offers wonderful live jazz music, and every thing is just Awesomely Wonderful krub
Lovely bar with fantastic live jazz. Unfortunately, it took me years to realize that there was live music nightly. Highly recommended. Though, to be honest, it's hard to believe that there is only a curtain between this bar and the rest of the lobby area. Loud music often obstructs the jazz if you sit far from the stage.
A Sheraton luxury hotel in the center of Bangkok Excellent, top class hotel. The library is a luxury lounge with Jass music for Sunday brunch. Excellent food and service.
