The District Grill Room & Bar

If I have to recommend a comfort joint in Bangkok, I would say The District Grill Room & Bar under the lead of hristian Caluwaert is definitely one of them. There is no fuss nor pretentious characteristics. Dishes here are packed with flavour.

The artichoke soup with black truffle tonight was scrumptious while the tenderloin was delightful. Nice medium rare with red wine and jus alongside pomme dauphine. Proportion also came with quite a nice balance though it could still be called a "cheat meal".

I often find fine dining is pretty much about protein, carbohydrate, and fat. But it is not the case here. Anyway I can confidently say I do like it here.

Pork and Beef are good but seems cooker did not pay attension too much.i got so much burnt shrimp on my dish. Shrimp is not fresh as i came here 2 years ago. But Service of staffs are really awesome.

Food serve is very slow on sunday brunch. Poor management on queuing system.

Fantastic food, wine and service. Solo and a business trip and ate at the bar. They took great care of me! Filet is excellent!

Been here for dozen of times. Good atmosphere with live music. Delicious steak at reasonable price compare to other hotel. Seafood tastes great as well. Tried almost everything on the menu. Five stars

Fantastic view and environment, but I would not go there for the food. Very average to be polite.

Happy with the dinner, but staff was completely indifferent to get us a seat at Octave (rooftop bar) after spending 7000 baht on dinner for two.

Don't mind paying top dollar for quality but the steaks were disappointing for $100-200 per head, expected better

Restaurant inside Marriott. Known as a steakhouse but sells upscaled western cuisine.

The seafood variety is good, but not the freshest and tastiest. Can't blame them, it's imported.

Steaks are good but not thick cut like in US.

Prices are on the higher side. Polite service. Your usual 10 percent charge is extra

Classic Steakhouse feel with great service. Nice selections of meats to pick from in Bangkok. Had the Tomahawk 3 marbling, Australian Wagyu ribeye grain feed 4/5 marbling and USDA Prime ribeye. Loved them all but the wagyu for the price and marbling was the best value and taste. My only issue was I asked for medium rare and they all came out rare. Luckily I like that just as much being a carnivore. But make sure you check. Great place.

Huge portions. Great flavors. Wine list is not the best and over priced, but good value if you have marriott card.

My dining experience here was flawless. This steakhouse has a great vibe, good selection of menu and wine. Appetizer and salad was perfect. We ordered Australian Wagyu and it was served with grilled garlic and onion. The meat were cooked perfectly to our order, nothing to complain. The service is top notch. To sum up, this place is highly recommended.

The food and service was okay. Nothing really outstanding about it. No dishes much to be impressed.
