The Chilli Bangkok reviews
12The Chilli Bangkok Hotel is a very nice place to stay. It is quite near to Chao Phraya Cruise boarding point and 10 mins walk from Hua Lamphong subway station. The staff is good and friendly. The bar area is quite cool. In short a nice stay.
Cheap but good place, if you are focusing on traveling and enjoying, rather than having luxury stay. Rooms are very small. So only sleeping purpose will be fulfilled. People fr different countries stay.
WiFi is Available.
Almost 200 meters from main road, only bikes can reach there, or by foot. Reception was good. Supporting staff.
Cheap place to stay at. Although the surroundings does not look tidy, the hotel itself is clean and neat inside. Rooms have aircon, TV, hot water and the Wi-Fi signal is good. Bed sheets in my room were a bit old though. Rooms are small but you have your own shower and toilet inside plus a small working table. The staff are friendly.
I’m from Malaysia.have a good experience in Chilli Bangkok.they have a good owner and a good staff. I have lost atm card, the hotel owner gave me some cash to renew atm card in Malaysia
Not a bad location near to Hua Lamphong train station. Rooms are very small and the power sockets are very high up on the roof. You will need an extension cord or some ingenuity to use them. The shower in our private room with ensuit was cold. It was, however, clean and pleasant enough that we extended our stay for an extra night.
Few months ago, my wife and I paid 490b (promotion Booking instead 1000b) for a "superior double room". The man (or the girl, I still not guessed) at the reception was cold with us, little impolite, don't know how to say "please" and order us to fill the form and for our passport, then he gave us the key of the room 303.6m2, with 2 mattress hardly used (you can easy feel the springs) on the floor (no beds), a bathroom 1m2, a window with a miserable curtain (wake up with the sun) and.that's all. The AC didn't work well (only cool, not cold at all), a fan should be better. Impossible to use our computer, the electric plug are more than 2 meters high on the top wall (look like a joke but see the picture). The place is quiet yes, until the others guests used the stairs, clash the doors and take their baths, especially enjoyable at the middle of the night. Probably the worst room ever, a shame, even for this price.
I like the room And p. Bank is very kind.
It small but save for me. My next time to Bangkok I will checkin at this hostel again.
Receptionist was snarky and rude. Also. BEDBUGS! OMG! The only thing good here is the location. Close to Hua Lamphong (Bangkok's Grand Central) and the Chao Phraya Ferry.
Location is close to the train station. Hotel has a modern design but tiny rooms which are better for one person, not couples and two luggages. We had unfortunately a room which smelled horrible. It came from the sink or air-condition. And the towels and blankets where already in it's years with old spots.
It's a good place for the money you pay. Close to hua lampong. Althought the rooms are small and the street to arrive there is something that a western tourist is not used to (not dangerous, just not the tipical touristic street) it' s not bad at all being realistic
