The Cedar reviews
35Frankly speaking, the place has the atmosphere of Lebanon, the food is clean and the price is reasonable. The fatayer is fiery tricks and the wings are everything delicious I advise you to try it
Amazing food here.garlic paste
chicken kebab
bamia
raffi is an amazing host.he has great classical music taste too
must try the food here!
Absolutely amazing hidden Lebanese restaurant in Bangkok. The food here is so delicious and they give you so much as starters at no cost. You can tell the chef loves to make belly’s happy with his Vegetables/yogurt, garlic/yogurt spread, & fennel sorbet…all complimentary
I ordered the hummus and chicken Schwarma. The servings are large and now I’ll enjoy again at home.
Thank you, Cedars
Overall good. Lamb is very tough unfortunately. Are you sure it’s not mutton? Usually only Greek places serve lamb like this. Arab usually more tender.
Excellent Mediterranean food. Big portions and quite filling, be careful how much you order. Definitely delicious, definitely will be back!
We were in the mood for some exotic food and thought to try out this restaurant near home. This restaurant has opened since 1977, no wonder I have seen it for many years
The place was very cozy and you immediately can immerse in that exotic atmosphere through its decor and traditional music on the background.
While we weren't sure what to try, we decided to go for the lunch set for 2 people 8XXTHB so we could try a bit of everything. We weren't expecting it to be such a big feast and every dish was very tasty and delicious. I personally loved the beef puffs since reminded of Argentinian empanadas You can also tell that the owner is very detailed since we saw the waiter showing the dishes every time to him prior serving them to us.
If you are trying something different in Bangkok, I truly recommend. If I'm not wrong, this was our menu: Babaghanuch, Hummus, Tzaziki, Cheese Puff, Sumbusek Beef, Falafel, chicken wings, Greek Feta Salad, Zaatar Pita Bread, Garlic Pita Bread, Soft Pita Bread, Labneh, and Chicken kebab
The best Garlic Paste and Pita Bread
Everything is amazing
Original authentic dishes
We had the set for 2 persons, and had the perfect night with full belly
Very good in quality with reasonable price
10/10
I’ve eaten at The Cedar several times now and it’s always a pleasure. Excellent Lebanese food and a really friendly atmosphere.
The fattouch is one of my favourites as well as the babaghanouch and cheese puffs. The portions are very generous and the bread is delicious so it’s good to go with some friends and share.
A very good outlet located within the Racquet Club campus, good Lebanese food to enjoy here.
Caters to both Non vegetarian and Vegetarian options well, cosy ambience and also features a small kids play area just outside.does have decent parking spots available also so not an issue.
Nice place. Great for Jain food preference.
Little oily stuff but the best pita i have ever had.
Food was not fresh at all. Overpriced and low quality. Thats why the restaurant is empty. First and last visit!
Marvellous place. Great atmosphere and lovely food. We hired it out for a cricket club bash. Lots of fun
Great Lebanese food. The garlic paste and hummus dips with pita bread are delicious. Just watch out for their special Cedar Dynamite drink!
Me and my husband have been regular Customers here for over 15 years. I feel like they are part of our family anc if I don’t have the food here every once in a while I will miss it. All my friends anc family love it here too.
The food here is truely what you can call comfort food. They use proper and quality ingredients. Kebabs, Tabbouleh, garlic paste and pita bread, and chicken Kebab here are the best. The owner said that the garlic sauce is his mom’s recipe and the restaurant opened since 1977. Other dishes are very delicious too. Believe me, I’ve tried everything on the menu given my experience. It’s a cozy place and the price is very affordable.
I truly recommend for people who seek a proper Mediterranean food here. I know because I used to leave in-house with Cyprus family for 2 whole years. Truly recommend it here. Best for family gathering with casual atmosphere
Very refined Lebanese cuisine. The family secret garlic mousse is amazing, the lamb delight is really perfect, etc. The venue is a little vintage, but the owner is very kind and the food is really delicious.
Probably the best eggplants in Asia.
Ps: the name of the dish is Marinated Eggplants.
Very good selection of Middle East food
Great service
Smells great and tasty
Can’t go wrong
Get chose
Haven’t been here for long time, it’s so good to be back, very attentive staffs and lovely friendly owner, food is great as usual.
Everything is very good. But one thing all of us love most is the garlic dip, it’s the best and fresh and pure.
We shall be back more often, kids enjoy the food and the whole experience of trying new things. It’s super fulfilling especially after all the exercises at Racquet Club.
Thank you.
My all time favourite Lebanese spot, amazing atmosphere, very homey and friendly vibe and amazing food. Also don't forget to try their Cedar Beers
