The British Club reviews
49 Had traditional Fish and chip. It was very good.
The blackberry and apple crumble was also very nice. The service was great.
Great setting lovely colonial club in the heart of Bangkok. Was invited by friends and ate in the Jubilee room by the pool.
First time eating here. Service was a bit slow but the food was excellent. We had a Buddha bowl with falafel, a steak and kidney pie, a seafood pie and a lamb shank pie. All were excellent
My friends, English always Razz me about this place, but I gotta say, I have had nothing but good times every time I have been there.
Lots of stuff for the kids to do. It's got a great library, staff is nice, met lots of nice people there, tennis, squash, roller hockey teams.
It's a nice place.
Have to recommend this place.
Oh, and the food is pretty good too, and not too overly priced! Great egg benedict!
Looks like there is gonna be some construction goin on next door for the next several years but if you can block that out. It's a good time?
In the heart of Bangkok where you could see and use the facility that is good for kids and expat.food is best.facility is clean
Went for dinner, very nice. Colonial type building which now holds the war memorial from the old embassy.
A great oasis in the middle of Bangkok. Teaming with history, it's a members only facility, I visited as a guest of a member. It has tennis, squash, a 25m pool. Sauna, simple but good dining, and if you are a club member elsewhere well worth checking reciprocal arrangements. Drinks and food are reasonably priced. Outdoor settings and very family oriented
British club service not bad.but the food need much much improvement. I have visited many times in the past so far so bad. I will not consider to eat any more even I am not a member. Thank you very much.
Members for over 18 years. A great family location. The latest renovation is clearly a game changer when it comes to great member facilities.
An exclusive club, entrance by invitation only. Churchill bar serve imported beers and wide variety of liquors.
Nice club with an unique vibe in downtown Bangkok. A historical house, great facilities. Tennis courts, swimming pools, all sorts pf sport infrastructure.
Parking is a challenge.
A nice club with quite a variety of sports facilities and most of all a very nice and affordable food served.
Lovely place but there are lots of problems. The food is awful, especially the the overpriced Thai food that they offer. The restaurant has been poor for years and this is why I wouldnt join this club
Great way to spend time in Bangkok without feeling like you’re in Bangkok. Much better weekend outing with the family than another trip to the mall. I highly recommend becoming a member to any expat living in Thailand. It has become my go to place when I need to relax and have a good meal or get some work done.
I am in love with this place-frm the churchill bar to the fabulous pool and tennis courts. Service is outstanding-which is refreshing because generally, service in Thailand is a fogotten skill. I had a wonderful night out at the Christmas bash. It was run very professionally with awesome food and the " Boss band"- are really THE Boss!
Many activities to do, quiet, meet lots of nice people. Food and drink are reasonable prices and good value for money
Love the lush lawns, spectacular food and chilled pints.
The management and staff are extremely friendly and I learnt to play balut (a super fun Asian bar game).
Caters to a specific group of people. Very colonial and quaint. Dont expect loads of facilities.
We recently started going to this place and a casual hangout place this is. They have kiddy pool so your little one is busy and so you catch a break and maintain sanity throughout the time you spend here:). Their menu is super versatile with lots and lots of options to choose from, they even have a whole page for vegetarian food options which is a pleasant surprise
