I went for a photoshoot with my sister to document our trip to Bangkok. I was blown away by the costume selection and historical accuracy of the pieces. The attention to detail that everyone at Thai Style Studio demonstrated is a solid 10/10. From the makeup, hair, costume, posing, everything was very well thought out and intentional. The pictures turned out amazing and the staff members were all fantastic at what they did. I highly recommend this studio for Thai style photography, especially if you’re looking for professional, all-inclusive service. I can’t wait to be back with all my family members the next time we’re in town.

A small shop inside MBK. Took me a some time to find it but it wasn't too difficult to find.
Easy process. LOTS of styles to choose from. You can choose indoor/outdoor, costume styles (with hair to match), and choose the locations (temples). Everything has photos so very easy to choose from their ipad and you will know exactly what you get. I chose a full package both indoor and outdoor with 2 different costumes and hair. Added lashes will attract a small additional fee.

This studio has a long history of focusing on traditional style costume, so no modern adaptation. This is suitable for someone looking for realistic traditional, old fashioned styles. Other studios have traditional style adapted with some modernity, either in styling, or photo editing.

The 2 ladyboys who helped me change, make up and hair were very courteous and professional. I must say, if you're worried about product hygiene, may be bring your own mascara and eye-liner.

Transformation completed. The costume consisted of several layers, with a necklacehair accessories, lots of bangles and rings. My photographer Chok was very helpful. He took loads of photos, also with my phone and I didn't even have to ask for it.

The on to the next concept - outdoor. I quickly got changed and had a completely different hairstyle. Then we took a cab to the temple that looked like the one I chose in the Ipad, with white tiles. The temple was beautiful. In the heat, Chok chose the angle, made sure I didn't spend any more time than necessary in the heat. He also took the accessories and tissues and helped me dap off the sweat to protect the make up. We went to 2 temples. Very professional we covered every angle with several different poses.

I came back exhausted from the heat. They gave me refreshing cold water and helped me take off the clothes.

They have production in house. I could see other photographers editing photos on the spot.

Before leaving the studio, I could choose 8 indoor photos for further editing and printing. After 3 days, I received more than 400 photos from the outdoor session to choose 20 for further editing. It was not easy as there were so many nice photos. All their services were delivered in a timely manner. I believe they can so post your photos abroad (extra cost) if you cannot come back to pick up.

Bonus they also photoshop to slim downy face so I dont look like a bao bun.

All in all, I had a wonderful experience. O highly recommend and will come back to try a different concept.

I have done this type of concept in Japan. It is the same price, around $350aud for my comprehensive package but I got lots more photos here and 2 costumes, whereas in Japan I only had 1 costume choice and very limited poses.

For the Thailand experience, why not play dress-ups. Everything provided, outfits, jewellery, make-up, all accessories you need.

The lady who helps with makeup and changing clothes is very kind and patient. The photographer takes pictures quickly and accurately, and will also use your mobile phone to take a few photos for you. The electronic file will be sent to your mailbox in about one or two days. Overall, the whole process and the finished product are very satisfactory. If you come to Thailand, I highly recommend taking Thai server commemorative photos here, but it is definitely recommended. Make a reservation!

I really like the makeup, detailed photoshop, and quality! It's expensive (I remember 60,000-80,000 won 5 years ago), but I plan to go again with my mom.

I think the price for the setup is a little high, but when you look at the makeup, photography, and final result, I think it's worth the price in the end. The cameraman is interesting.

Although the price is high compared to other places where she shoots Thai clothes, the quality is definitely worthy of this price. The key point is that the family is happy and satisfied with the photos, which is priceless.

We did an outdoor photshoot with Thai Style Studio and it was amazing. They first get you ready at their mall location; for two of us we had a team of four to style and dress us as well as do our makeup and hair. Everybody was exceptionally friendly and fun! Then we met our photographer and the staff suggested a temple to visit based on our preferences. Heads up, you'll have to pay for taxi fare. One of our stylists came with us and the photographer to help carry props and bags while we shot on location. The photographer was extremely professional and great at posing and taking pictures.

Altogether, it was about a 3- or 3.5-hour experience and worth every penny. We got about 200 pics and they all came edited to us within four days. They have a dedicated team of photo editors in the studio working on customers' photos, hence the quick turnaround. You can also ask for the raw shots. We had so much fun and highly recommend Thai Style Studio if you're looking for gorgeous, memorable photos in Bangkok.

My grandma for years always told us when the grandkids come to Thailand to visit that she would take us here for professional photo’s. She finally had the opportunity to take me and I had so much fun! Everyone was so nice, it was fun getting my make up done and dressed in traditional attire. I love that the photographer knew what he wanted and the photo’s came out Fabulous. I must to do when you’re in Bangkok.

My daughter has Asian background, so I wasn't worried about her looks in the Thai vestments.
I was worried about my parents that have no Asian heritage at all, but it all turned out okay as they both looked good, I named him King of Istanbul and her the Queen of Babylonia. The 3 of them looked great!
Staff was very friendly, from booking to make up, photo shooting and delivery.
If I go to Thailand again, I will make sure to have more photos taken there.

Nice experience. Friendly staffs with professional service. Excellent quality of 2x20R, 3x8R, 3x5R, 4x3R photos in a 7000-baht wedding package with 2 costumes (in-house photo-shooting). The electronic copy of the photos can be received either via email or a DVD. This photo-shooting takes around 2 hours in total including makeup and photo selection for printing.

This is a great opportunity to have a old Thai style photographs.
It is located on the 3rd floor of the MBK center.
The price of the photos are a little expensive, but the work they do explains it.
You get your hair and makeup done and depending on your choice you get one or 2 photo shoots.
You can choose what photos you want to have printed as part of the package and if you also have chosen for it you get them also in the email.
The staff is very friendly and professional and they take there time to make sure you look good.
Will come back again but then for a family portrait
