Food entertainment, good vibe & great taste. Recommended for party or business dinner. But im not sure it’s ok for little children or toddles.

Food are very mediocre. Especially the Wagyu Don which was supposedly the signature, the rice and beef both served really too cold to be enjoyed properly.

Same for the grilled vegetables, the temperature or serving speed of the dishes need to be improved, it seemed that the service was neglected despite having quite a number of staff.

If you are not into loud crowds and music, avoid this place. Popular among birthday celebrations but it’s not a place for date.

Suggest to have the toilet entrance and dirty tray area covered, we were seated right in front of the area and it felt really unappetising throughout.

Okonomiyaki and desserts were okay. Easily spent around 1,500+ per pax.

Very friendly staff and a very festive atmosphere on the weekend night out.
However I was disappointed by the food, the salmon sashimi wasn’t tender as well as Toro tuna. All was frozen too cold and not at the right temperature. Cocktails were half empty.
I liked the one in Ekkamai more for the food

There is nothing not to love about this place. Cool urban location, really friendly staff (almost shocked by so much friendliness) and amazing food always with a special twist! Go here to really enjoy eating not not just for craving food.

Great food, rice bowl is a bit too small, but not bad if you order a variety of food.salmon sashimi cut a bit too thick, which make it too greasy from the salmon fat.good location, not too far from Chongnonsi BTS.

Can’t say enough how much I love this place. It has been my favorite Japanese restaurant in Bangkok for years! You will never disappoint with their don menu especially Kaisen and Ebi don. They are gems! Saba Aburi is amazing too!

Quick dinner on our first night in Bangkok. Recommended by hotel for 5 of us (3 young adults). Cool and lively scene. Plenty of ‘food entertainment’ with many options including vegetarian. Food and service were good. Kids were still jet lagged so our dinner was short and sweet. Would recommend with or without older kids. Staff helped get us taxi back to hotel as well. Thanks!

The staff were friendly and the hospitality of the owner was impressive. The food is delicious using fresh ingredients, and the plating and performance that go with each dish are excellent. I like Teppen in Ekkamai, but I like Teppen in Sathon more.

Lovely restaurant, pricing is reasonable and quality is great. Unfortunately was on a diet so couldn't eat much, but there's a lot of tasty options. The Hotate Smoke Don was absolutely amazing.

This is not a teppanyaki restaurant! Don’t be fouled.

It's a first time and very remarkable experience! I'm craving for kani miso and this happened to be available on menu. We saw the high ratings on goggle and decided to give this restaurant a visit. The owner ack us with a warm welcome and eye contact! Servers were fast with their counter recommendations when they knew I did not want alcohol this evening. They will brief us along as they are serving the food. The hotate don is served with a premium egg yolk that can be consume raw. The kani miso is just the same as I had in Japan! The wagyu beef was sliced in front of us and nicely plated. The rainbow sushi surprised us with nice sesame flavor instead of the regular sushi rice. Equally good, I must say!

Very cozy environment and great service, they will have very good birthday celebration to you. Foods also very good, highly recommended.

WOW! I have nothing but positive things to say about Teppen. Before you even step foot into the restaurant, the staff starts welcoming you in. The vibes and ambiance of the restaurant is amazing. My boyfriend and I came in for dinner and we ordered an assortment of items off their menu. Our favorite items were the tuna tartare, ankimo burgers, and the uni somen noodles. We are from the San Francisco Bay Area and we loved Iron Chef's Morimoto's tuna tartare in Napa, California. I have to say, the tuna tartare here in Teppen is very comparable, and must I say, maybe even better than the Chef Morimoto's. Not only was the staff's service spectacular, Chef Takao was also very friendly and engaging with his customers. He is a master at what he does and he cares very much about the quality and presentation of the dishes that gets served. I highly recommend this restaurant and would most definitely return the next time I am in Bangkok.

A well known izakaya place with many branches all around Bangkok. The place offered many izakaya style dishes with a speciality in ricebowl of different toppings with specialised egg yolk. For me this place has been my go to Japanese place, but I haven’t been here since covid started. The lunch menu is abit disappointing as the menu is really limited. However, the lunch set menu is great with nice portion and price. The service is great as always, but the lack of more a la carte menu for lunch is rather sad. Overall a nice place for drink and good Japanese food, but dinner is recommended over lunch.
