TEP BAR - Cultural Bar of Thailand

Mixologist recommended the perfect cocktail, didn’t get his name but he was warm and welcoming. He is in the background of the photo of my drink.

Didn’t try any food, so can’t review much there. But the free bar snack is good.

Awesome vibes to immerse in some culture:) Will go again when I revisit Bkk.

Very busy, must get reservations. If you're looking for high end mixologist cocktails made with local ingredients and thai flavors, this is the place for you. Darkly lit and intimate interior (sorry for the bad pictures.)

We read a lot beforehand and really wanted to go there. We had to reserve a table, which we did. The bar is absolutely overrated. We were there, also because of the live music. At the beginning we didn't know whether it was the sound check or the performance. After a few songs there was another 30 minute break.
Many people came with expectations and left after a short time. By the way, we do too. The drink prices are way too expensive. The ambience is rather boring.
We won't go there again.

Good (loud) traditional Thai music and delicious cocktails! Probably on the higher end for prices but great overall experience to try

Bartenders are very kind and the traditional music is lovely. Different kinds of cocktails and flavours, which are great too~

Very cultural as said in the name of the bar! Live Thai classical music over wide selection of cocktail. Definitely should try out their selection of “lao kao” (wine fermented from rice). However the place is a bit packed so might not be most comfortable for long time sitting.

It was quite noisy inside, so we decided to skip it and check other bars in the area.
Maybe I will give it a chance on the next visit to Bangkok

This is pretty unique place worth visiting, when you are in Bangkok. There was a Thai band playing traditional instruments and singing Thai songs. They are serving traditional food and some interesting drinks. I would recommend to book a table in advance to make sure you have the best seats.

This bar was one of the best we visited during our stay in Bangkok. Superb live music and a cozy ambient coupled with amazing food and creative drinks made it just perfect. The skewers were delicious and of course the pad Thai will not disappoint.

Serves really good Thai cocktails and has a band that plays traditional Thai instruments which is really really cool

Only surprise was the 10% service charge and 7% vat added on top of the menu prices.

Went here for birthday drinks and boy, was it fun! There was some confusion with reservation but was easily sorted. Decent enough drinks but the ambience makes up for it. Terrific location (on a quiet Chinatown street), super plant based food and lovely live music. If you’re looking for a mellow but excellent place, this is it.

Really interesting cocktails made from local ingredients. We loved the live music which was traditional Thai music from the northern hill tribes.

Nice ambience but very pricey. I was even more suprised, there was 10% service charge which not really supposed to since the service was not that good plus no effort to make us feel welcomed and 7% vat on top of the price.

Good food and drinks for a decent price. The lively music can make for a good experience drinking. Service was great and they were easily able to make room for our large party of 15.

We can enjoy special cocktails made from local spirits and liquors as well as thai traditional music.

Absolutely amazing and unique! Feels like you're in a old thai house but you're actually in a bar. The traditional Thai band is so good. Definitely try the shots

Real Thai music and old music drink very nice with tasty snack seem like popcorn but it's Thai very wow!
