Enough good, but expected more. I have been visited the same brand of hotels in Moscow that's why I was choosing this hotel in Bangkok but in Moscow I'd like much better than in Bangkok.

Excellent stay at the Swissotel
Staff is very friendly and customer oriented, up to the reputation of the Thai People.

My room was very spacious, modern style, well equipped, and clean.and with a stunning view over the Bankok skyline (was on 14th floor, room #1420).

A very good choice of in-house restaurants, Thaï, Chinese, and Japanese, which will give you a taste of the whole Asia in one pit stop. Breakfast is top, diverse and allows you to discover the Asian food culture while still offering a very good occidental alternative to the least adventurous of us

Furthermore, the hotel is very well located:
a metro station at walking distance,
the Emmanuelle salon right across the street (one of the must-see's of Bangkok),
the Train Night Market 1 metro station ahead, which is one of the best places to discover the renowned typical Bangkok street food-even if you don't eat-and bikini-clad (and katoeys) beauties in the bars at the back of the market

The stairs from the parking lot is too steep. Cann't imagin for a long gown dress and wait to the reception floor. Other than that is perfect.

Old hotel located at Ratchadapisek area. Majestic almost palatial like interiors. Good for conventions. Rooms are large and reasonably priced. There's a nice pastry outlet in the lobby. The all day dining has a wide variety of Food and are good.

I had a pleasant stay at the Swissotel Ratchada. The staff were all helpful and polite, and the location is good if you are going to places with metro/BTS access. The rooms are a bit old, similar to the ones at Sheraton Grande but less well-maintained. There is a lack of international sockets as well but other than that, I think it is suitable for business travellers.

Huge lobby! Friendly receptionists. Very spacious room! Elegant facade and cozy corridors. Easy to access wifi. Complimentary fruits and water. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Very big room, clean and neat! Good location which is near to ratchada train station market. Awesome breakfast with lots of foods to choose from.

Nice hotel. Food is good. Coffee is way too expensive, 250 baht
The coffee was from a function room on the second floor. It was a wedding receiption, chinese food. We needed a cup of coffee.

BEWARE, a very professional hotel of THIEVES

I wish this review was about comfortable beds and wide breakfast spread. However, to have my own wedding rings taken from our own room, this is definitely not a case of “misplacing my own personal belongings” like you have put across to me. Be it jewellery, a book or an important document, I expect a reputable hotel chain like Swissotel to treat each lost item seriously enough, not only to protect guests who chose to stay with you, but to uphold your own reputation and integrity.

In that morning, I only went from my room to your breakfast area, and back to room. I did not remove my wedding rings until I had to wash my baby up, in my own room. I’m sure your CCTV can verify all that I said.

1. The hotel reservations team responded that the room has been cleaned and nothing was found.

2. We further requested for photos of our room, including the sink, the rubbish bins, the fridge.
(The bathroom trash bin should be full with dirty baby diapers;
The fridge should contain our personal food items, because we placed all the minibar items on top of the fridge, to use the fridge for our own baby food items.)

3. The photos sent to us by a Manager confirmed that the room was NOT yet cleaned up by housekeeping, yet, the bathroom trash bin has been emptied of the baby's dirty diapers; the fridge has been restocked with the hotel's minibar items, our personal food items were no longer in it. I.e. Someone did enter our room, partially cleaned the room, and left the room with my two rings.

4. We explained our findings to the Manager, she said the CCTV footage was reviewed, and NO ONE entered the room after us.

5. Yet, for the 24hours that followed, we received a series of calls and text exchanges with the Manager on Duty, who repeatedly changed her account of what transpired, as follows:

Version. 1 The room has been cleaned by housekeepers, nothing has been found.

Version. 2 The room has NOT been cleaned, no one entered the room, except two managers sent to find the rings.

Version. 3 The room has NOT been cleaned, but the trash bin has been emptied by one of the managers herself.

Version. 4 The room has NOT been cleaned, but the housekeeper who was sent to find the rings MAY have restocked the minibar, but did not clean the other parts of the room.

We raised questions about the discrepancies presented to us, the hotel promised to call us back. To date, no one called, only received an email containing politically correct answers presented to us as disclaimers to protect your own record. Questions go unanswered, as if I am supposed to accept a ghost/alien took the rings from the room.

Loss rings aside; in the week we were there, only 5 out of some 50 staff greeted us. Everyday I carry the baby stroller up and down your flight of entrance stairs myself, except ONE specific bellboy helped. I guess only executive members get the basic courtesy of a smile from the all-too-snobbish Swissotel Bangkok Ratchada. Never again!

Beautiful hotel.amazing location! Even has a Watch Museum! Plus the staff is ultra friendly and helpful.will be back.very very soon.

Wonderful, breakfast and buffet lunch was great with verity foods. There is museums for watch at the 3rd for. Hotel staffs cooperative with customers. Just opposite from front there are some massages center.

Hotel connected office tower nearby metro MRT 200 meters at Ratchadaphisek road very famous and a lot of chinese tourists.

Great location, subway train station is just within walking distance, super convenient to hop around the city. We made a booking for Swiss executive room. The check-in was done in front of the executive lounge on the 21 floor. We got room upgraded to suite room from the Accorplus gold benefits. The city view of bangkok was stunning. The executive lounge staff were the best. They were nice, polite and did nit hesitate to offer thire service to the guest. They always greeting you as soon as you stepping into the lounge and would offer/assist you to get some snacks or drinks to make you feel the most comfortable in their lounge. The food and snacks during happy hours and breakfast were also good. The crispy bacon was my favorite. We tried the breakfast at the 204 Bistro restaurant once but we ended up with better went back to the lounge. There was very crowded at food stations as well as a long line at egg station. Most of foods and some of drinks were empty. Even though we waited for 10 minutes but some of them were not yet refilled. The gym facility was of a high standard with personal trainers and scheduled classes. All in all, this stay was good for our first time at Swissotel during New year holiday and, once again, the executive lounge staff were the best.

So far so good. Hotel front desk staff are very gracious. Rooms are big and if you request two beds, they give you 2 doubles! Breakfast served in ground floor Bistro 204 but other restaurants we haven't tried yet but have heard they are highly rated. Breakfast is good but Chinese selection is a bit limited.
