Western style with regular group of Farangs. Cheap liquor at regular price (No Bacardi?) Bar tender asked for tip with every drink. Band was good but Farang band told Thai band to wrap it up. If you want Western attitude, enjoy.

Went to all the "famous" clubs while in Bangkok, but the most entertained I was at this sweet little live music venue. It really transported me back to the '90's, when Ska and grunge flourished.

Super late review since I visited in January, but since I will be back in 3 weeks and definitely paying Speakerbox a visit, here my 2 cents.

It feels like a small live house. The live performance started at 9pm, but perhaps because it was raining, there were only a few people in the audience until around 8pm. There weren't many types of alcohol, there was no blackcurrant soda or Red Eye (lol). The food took a long time to be ready. It's like drinking beer while listening to live music.

Amazing time on my first visit to the Speakerbox. Being here felt like was transported to an underground venue back home in the US.

Excellent live bar with a good variety of bands. Alternativ crowd, pleasantly different and down to earth, away from the upscale vibe of that area. Entrance fee around 300thb but drinks are cheap so it’s a great deal for live music lovers.

A fantastic little gem hidden away in Thonglor. Open mic was a treat, especially as it was my daughter's first live performance on guitar and vocal! Good beer and a decent bar menu, but great atmosphere and lots of fun.

We were looking for a punk rock venue in Bangkok and read about Speakerbox. The scheduled band had cancelled but still thought it was a great spot. Good drinks.friendly service and crew!

This place is awesome. I was checking it out before coming in person and asked to see the menu/more info from the proprietors, and they were friendly enough to get back in touch with me, sent me photos of the menu and explain in great detail about the different bands they have playing on any given week - basically responding to my queries in real time! Really above and beyond - thanks for the added level of attention and care!

The value is insane at Speakerbox. Go here haha. The talent is diverse and amazing. The food is surprisingly good, the owner is super cool and down to earth.

If you’re a musician you’ll have a chance to play here on an open mic or jam night.

This is a great place to catch some live music. Staff is nice and kind, 100 baht beers, good atmospere, Fun Fun FUN!

I was heading for other places, and found the Box purely by accident, then I lingered here for almost 2 hrs. True high quality bands & music, better than most of the music bars even in New York, London or other metropolis!

Great place for all sorts of live music, great atmosphere, mostly foreigners and Thai gfs, bf's, a great night out. The Rolling Stones tribute band were excellent.

Amazing music, crowd is quite young but that's alright. Drinks are very reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere for live music! Xx

Maybe the most fun live music bar in Bangkok.

Speakerbox is at the end of Thong Lor road (Sukhumvit 55) and is a great spot for cheap drinks and a super cool atmosphere.

When they aren't doing live music they play all other types of great music.

Definitely worth taking a visit to this lovely legendary bkk bar!

Loved it! Small but really nice live music bar. A good mix of music on the night we were there.
Seemed to have a good following of patrons, enjoying the music.
Friendly, efficient bar service.

Fantastic venue, full of atmosphere. Live music had the whole place dancing away with friendly patrons and service staff to boot. Hidden gem!

This place is cozy with nice music, warm and attentive services. All dishes are delicious. Vegetarian can drink along with vegetarian dishes. Love music & good drink? Must come!
