Songthai Suvarnabhumi Hotel & Homestay (สงไทย โฮมสเตย์)

Beautiful, authentic, cozy, clean homestay. A lot of wood in decor. Very polite and welcoming team. View of the canal, greenery and birds singing outside. Peaceful place. Only 10 minutes from the airport. Rooms have a/c, fridge, TV, tea/coffee.

We used it as a base for our one day in Bangkok between 2 flights, and had a great time, but I can imagine staying here longer to relax and enjoy a simple lifestyle. Birds keep singing beautifully all the time, and there is no traffic noise.

Keep in mind that washrooms (with toilet and showers) are separate from the rooms for technical reasons, but each room has own allocated washroom.

The hotel accepts cash payments.

Location is far away from anything except the airport. The fact that the shower and toilet were not in the room annoyed me a bit.

Location is worth 5 stars. This area is just amazing. Be sure to walk around the canal and explore the area. Really fun!
The room is super clean and the staff is very very helpful. We had an early flight and we would miss the breakfast, so the owners prepared some sandwiches for us night before.
In the end however I decided to give 4 because of the price. Considering the type of the room, the toilet outside, the building, and everything, if you don't care for the atmosphere you might be disappointed, because cheaper than this you can get a room in the same area with a pool

This was the nicest/cutest hotel I could possibly ask for regarding a place to stay in Bangkok! 10 min taxi from BKK! And is still out-of-the way enough to relax after a long flight. Everything about this hotel was amazing! Service is wonderful, rooms are clean and spacious l, and the views are breathtaking!

This is a good place if you will stay for a day and you need a place to stay near the airport. The owner is very kind and hospitable. The room is neat and clean. If you want a short trip to the city theres a metro nearby. The owner will offer to drive you near the station.

Awesome place to stay when visiting Bangkok! Feels like a small village but right next to the rail-link station so no need for taxi or language issues to get around. Less than 40 minutes from leaving hotel to getting past checkin and security at airport! The owners are fantastic and extremely helpful!
