The restaurant is clean and the workers are friendly. The curry crab is delicious and the shrimp dish is also delicious.

I recommend the boobapong curry here.
It's a little greasy, so ask for vinegar.

We walked over to this restaurant from our hotel on the recommendation of a friend. I was very excited to try the fried curry crab.

We walked in, we were seated promptly and the entire restaurant was very clean.

Our server was quick to bring us drinks and take our order.

We ordered fried calamari, sauté morning, glory, the large fried crab curry, two beers, one bottle of sake, And a side of rice. Everything came out pretty fast and almost at the same time.

The morning glory was good. The calamari was good the crab tasted great, and the curry tasted great.

My only complaint about the food is that the crab comes out with all the legs and shells intact. Which means you have to crack all of the shells in the curry so it’s a bit messy. Also, the crab meat itself was very sticky to the inside of the crab shells. So for me who is used to eating Dungeness crab with the meat tends to fall right out of the shell, I felt like this crab was a bit tedious and annoying to enjoy. I wish there was a way that they could extract the meat overall and mix that into the curry and just leave a few claws for you to crack open or something like that. If I went here again I probably wouldn’t order the crab because of the amount of work and mess involved, but it did taste great.

One other thing that I feel, I should mention is that the staff stands right next to you and kind of stares at you while you’re eating which is kind of awkward. I know this is probably unique to where our table was positioned, but we felt like we were just under the microscope while we were picking up our crab meat, it was very awkward.

A well-known chain restaurant with reasonable prices.
Although it does not have a local atmosphere, it is a restaurant that will satisfy anyone you take.

Food was excellent. Not that they were rude. However, the wait staff could have been a little happier to serve.

You can enjoy a variety of Thai dishes and the seafood is delicious.
The shrimp and crabs are so plump and big? ?
Moreover, the staff are kind and will peel or cut it for you if you ask.
When I'm low on alcohol, I'll come next time.

After looking around the rooms and the swimming pool, we took a short break and then moved on to dinner.
I heard that there is a Sombun Seafood Surawong branch near the hotel, so I went a little early.
When we arrived at 6pm, the first floor was full.
We were guided to the 3rd floor and went up, but the store was very cold.in the menu
Grouper Stir fried with basil leaves, M THB480

Sprite THB35 for a total of 1,235 baht
1,321 baht with 7% VAT (THB86.45) added

The food didn't meet our expectations and overall, it was too salty and didn't suit our family's tastes.
Especially not recommended for pork ribs. Please note that this is personal preference.
The fried sea bass was medium sized, so it had little meat and was cold.
Gongsimchae Stir-fry is a basic menu item, but it is salty and salty.
There were no complaints because the shrimp fried rice was basic.
The pork ribs were not very appealing because the liver and sauce tended to splatter.

If you like seafood, the food will surely satisfy you.
It's often crowded, so it's hard to catch a waiter.
Are the prices high now? Suitable for dinner with a large number of people.

I last ate here 25 years ago, at that time it was excellent. I'm happy to say that it hasn't changed.excellent food, good size servings, not a fancy place but lots of character.still my favourite restaurant in Bangkok. Steamed seabass in oyster sauce and Tom Yam Kung were my favourites.

The best known and largest seafood restaurants in Bangkok. Some reviews have been quite unfavourable but you simply need to try it yourself and discover how wonderful the food is. The remarkable selection is fresh and alive! Highly recommended

So far this is the best crab curry i have had in Thailand. Excellent service as well. Highly recommend.

A very famous seafood restaurant located near Surawong Road. Opened since 1969 in the city center of Bangkok.

Brilliant! Tasty food plus excellent service from all of staff that I couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended!

Currently the restaurant is opened but will be closed at 9: 00 PM as government informed.

Poor service.the worker wont listen to you while taking order, cannot understand English at all. Your requests definitely wont be entertained. The crab, grouper fish& garlic prawn not fresh at all.but the prices were high. The worst part, the curry crab was fried together with nylon rafia where tied up the crab. Not worth to visit, came here every trip to Bangkok but recently the food so worst. Advise going other places where around Bangkok got tons of nice food.
