Siri Sathorn Hotel / The Quarter Saladaeng by UHG

Location is great, within walking distance to the BTS. The Commons is right opposite of the hotel, where many food and coffee are available. Service staffs are nice and friendly. But, the hotel is terrible in every other aspect. It is listed as a four star hotel on Agoda, but this particular branch at Saladaeng is no where near a 4-star, not even 3-star. Everything is old and chippy, stains on the floor, on the bedsheets, towels are yellowish and overused. Wifi is extremely unstable, and not usable a lot of the times. Sound insulation is terrible as well, I can hear the guest sneezing from the room next door, very clearly at night. I wasn't expecting too much from this hotel when I booked it in at a heavily discounted srice, but now I think even the discounted price is too high for the condition of this place.

Hotel is slowly getting old. A lot of things were patched and not repaired or replaced properly. E.g. A socket that is inaccessible behind the bed. Electric kettle socket broken.

If you need internet to work this is not the place to stay. Although each room has its own router, the building often goes black.

I have stayed in this hotel no less than 6 times in the last 2 years. Absolute favourite. Here’s why:
1) location is bloomin good. Opposite the very trendy (and tasty) Commons Saladaeng, 7 mins from Silom on foot, 5 mins to Siam by cab… just CENTRAL!
2) staff is always with a perma-smile. For this stay, I had the lovely crew of Nemnich, Dang, Anup and Krish at the desk and they welcomed me like I was a brother coming home. They also got me my favourite room with a huge (read: HUGE!) balcony when I requested for it at the desk. Super nice people.
3) room is spacious, clean and comfy. More than enough space to spread the shopping and repack at ease. Aircon was cold, shower was hot, wifi was strong, TV had Netflix et al.
4) Lek massage on level 2 is just the best. Ask for Khun Win for the best work ever, even his mom who also works there is a master reflexologist.
5) gym and pool is nice and clean.
6) cafe Lapin in the lobby makes an excellent oat milk latte.
7) PRICE! I get notifications about their latest promos on Line app and the value is just super. Starts at 1000b for a standard room… in Saladaeng… with all that I have mentioned above? Too cheap!

So in short, would I recommend? 100000%.

An excellent hotel that helped us out in a difficult situation - we had to urgently move from another place. A little renovation is clearly needed, but overall the rooms are pleasant and the service is high quality. The price level is very moderate, both for accommodation and related services, including a minibar and room service.

The hotel is dated but I am super impressed with the place. Excellent value for money and a great place to stay.

It is 10 minutes away from saladaeng and 5 minutes away from sathorn. It is convenient to walk, and it is also convenient to call uber. The breakfast is very delicious, and the dishes change every day.

Staff with attitude no early check in but not even on time check in very far from the main hub we had a suite which of course was nice but no bathroom freebies to take away breakfast was more like dinner beef stew and stuff like that where's the bacon sausage etc?

ไปพักมาเมื่อเดือนที่แล้วก็ดีแต่ว่าประตูห้องค่อนข้างจะติดกันเกินไปเปิดไปคือเจออีกห้องเลยและได้ยินเสียงของห้องข้างๆชัดเจนมากในห้องนอนและห้องน้ำโอเคดีแต่มีฝุ่นที่ตู้เสื้อผ้าแต่โดยรวมแล้วก็ไม่ใช่ปัญหาเยอะเท่าไหร่แต่ก็ควรจะดูแลจัดการให้เรียบร้อยและในส่วนลิฟต์ลงจากชั้น9จะไปชั้นที่1มากระตุกอยู่ที่ชั้น7หวาดเสียวมากและอีกหนึ่งเรื่องคือฉันขอจานและช้อนส้อมกับพนักงานแต่เสียเงินฉันก็จ่ายไปแต่พอพ่อของฉันมาถึงพ่อของฉันสั่งพนักงานเอาชุดจานช้อนส้อมมาให้ไม่เสียเงินสักบาทฉันงงมาก

The price and the quality are really competitive compare to the hotels in this area.
The staff is very kind and always available to support you all the time.

Amazing hotel if you want a quaint place to stay. Slightly far from daily hustle but very near to beach

The rooms are quite big and have all you need for a good stay. They come with balcony, nespresso machines etc. I would have given ir 5 star if not for the weird noise from the AC vent.

Do visit the sky lounge if open. Great views. The gym want functional but i give it to the hotel. After all they are still recovering from the pandemic.

Great value for money. Rooms are a bit dated but you can get amazing deals in the suites and some nice skyline views.
Not many taxi drivers know where you are. Close enough to Saladaeng station (1km)
Breakfast is ok.
Pool is great and fairly cool during the day.
Gym is also nice.
I just wish the room cleaning was a bit better. They never removed rubbish but there was no complaints from my side.

The place is awesome. Services were more than what was expected but the only thing that bummed me out was that the WiFi was slow and terrible. I think there's only areas where the WiFi was strong but inside the room where I stayed, the WiFi is not good. My phone data was stronger than the WiFi for sure.

The room was bare. No robes, no slippers or pool sandals. No hand towels.
The most absurd is the restaurant and room service close at 3pm.
Next the outside windows appeared so dirty so when looking out everything is foggy.
On The plus side, service was friendly enough and there are LOTS OF WINDOWS on the end units. And the pool is great. Hopefully breakfast is too.

Excellent location, decent rooms. Hotel issued a deposit on our credit card which we were not aware of beforehand.

Came for gym here.ok equipments but quite limited in terms of number and variety.good locker room facility though.

Conveniently located, spacious apartments, very good gym, great service. Just that the furnishing has aged and weathered quite a bit over the years. TV is a very old Toshiba LCD. No in-house washing machine. Has a launderette instead.

We loved this hotel. Very good location as its close the embassies, restaurants, a big park and subway. The room was beautiful and sparkling clean. We slept really well there.

Stayed for 3 nights. Room was spacious and well air conditioned with a small but comfortable bed. Wifi is good throughout the hotel and breakfast is ok but nothing special. The concierge of the hotel is helpful and tries hard to help.
Only criticism is that the hotel shows its age and things like the carpet are in desperate need for refurb and refresh
