At first, I was not considering this school because I heard the Singapore system is very stressful. Decided to give it a try because of money considerations. After 2 years, I find that my son is happier here than at his old school. It’s not perfect, but overall, I made the right choice.

I was very surprised during a trip out with my nephew when he started to say words in Chinese. I was prepared for them to be speaking only English because they are studying in an international school. Pleasantly surprised, especially as they are still in kindergarten.

Based on my experience at SISB, I’d like to offer a comprehensive assessment of various aspects of the institution. SISB offers a blend of internationally recognized curricula, including IB, Cambridge, and a Singaporean curriculum for the primary level. While this diversity provides a broad educational foundation, the limited choice of extracurricular activities might be an area to consider enhancing.

The school boasts modern facilities, including well-equipped classrooms, labs, sports areas, and an impressive performing auditorium. However, the integration of technology for interactive learning could be improved to align with the school’s emphasis on technology use.

In terms of safety and security, the presence of security guards and strict protocols ensures a secure campus environment. On the communication front, while newsletters have been replaced by emails, consistent updates are provided for events and trips, which often include compulsory participation for secondary students.

SISB actively incorporates global perspectives and addresses international issues within its curriculum, fostering awareness and understanding among students. The school’s emphasis on college and career counseling services, primarily for high school students, aids in shaping their future academic and professional pathways.

While a sense of community is evident among students, there’s room for greater emphasis on community engagement and service projects. The student-teacher relationship dynamic appears to vary, with opportunities for improvement in fostering a more inclusive and supportive atmosphere.

In addition to the aforementioned aspects, I would like to highlight a significant concern regarding traffic management in the vicinity of SISB. The issue of traffic congestion poses a considerable challenge for both students and staff attempting to access the campus. The delays in entering or leaving the campus, compounded by traffic clashes with neighboring institutions, notably the French international school, necessitate urgent attention.

The presence of a residential area further complicates the traffic situation, affecting not only school-related traffic but also the daily lives of those residing in the vicinity. The considerable size of SISB, in contrast to the smaller neighboring institution, intensifies the need for effective traffic management to prevent unnecessary disruptions for both the school community and the local residents.

Addressing this concern is pivotal, as it affects the overall experience of students, staff, and residents alike. Improved traffic management strategies could alleviate the strain on the local infrastructure and contribute positively to the surrounding community’s quality of life.

Language instruction, particularly English, is a pivotal component of any international school. While the dedication and competence of Singaporean teachers are evident, it’s important to acknowledge the challenge posed by accents that may impact language learning. Comparing this situation to employing a native Chinese speaker to teach English underscores the significance of considering language proficiency and cultural familiarity in language instruction. Incorporating a balance of native English speakers and those with comprehensive English language skills could greatly enhance the language learning experience.

In conclusion, as SISB continues its efforts to enhance various aspects of its educational environment, I strongly urge the administration to prioritize and address the critical issue of traffic management. By implementing effective solutions, the school can not only create a more seamless experience for its students and staff but also foster better relationships with neighboring institutions and residents. Thank you for considering this imperative aspect as part of the overall school improvement process.

As a student here, I’d say the students here are very rude, especially new students. I’ve heard Primary 2 students cuss and Primary 4 students make inappropriate jokes. Everything is overpriced.

It is not easy to find a school that helps their students perform well in studies, learn important values to become good people, and have the chance to explore different interests like sports or music. I think SISB does a good job of balancing these important aspects. Well done.

My experience: From director to employee: false smiles. Arrogant and irresponsible. They are deceitful. Do not trust their promises, only a written agreement where every word is spelled out.

Both of my nephew and niece are currently studying at secondary level and they are doing their best even though they are struggling at certain subjects but the teachers are also doing their best to help them. Really appreciated because they are having their IGCSE very soon.

One hour+ traffic jam, stuck in the car, for after school dismissal time everyday. What a nightmare! Poorly manage the traffic and, obviously, it will remain so for ETERNITY.

My children love this school, they miss their classes, playground, teachers and friends. I was surprised how professional they are when conducting on line classes at this period, just like they were extremely super dedicated to the on campus education.

Good school in terms of education.the teachers really care for the kids.but some students in this school are very spoiled and not nice.the school is big and nice to walk around but the school just keeps spending money on that instead of spending money on hiring better teachers or improving the education.there is a great team of parents who are willing to host activities and help the school.another bad thing is the traffic in front of the school.cars are all over the place and are not organized.parents are just trying to pickup their kids and not caring about the traffic.in conclusion, it is a very nice and friendly school with a few exceptions of rude kids, it also has a growing community of parents.the only bad thing is the tuition fee which is overprice and keeps increasing over the years.thx for reading:)

The students in this school aren't as nice. The education was fine, but when I was in this school, the teachers aren't as great. The education and student's attitude in this school needs improvement.

New school with perk payment of 220,000 that’s 7000 usd which needs to be paid to get admission. Wow and the fees is 11000 usd that’s 330,000 thai baht that’s exclusive of any extra activity or transportation and doesn’t include meals for little kids that would become 23000 USD for the year fees
Amazing Sisb keep multiplying money

The thing I don't understand about this school is that this school lets mostly Singaporean teachers to teach English with their accents in them, why don't the school just bring a native English speaker. It is like bringing a native Chinese speaker who never spoke English to teach English. Please improve. Another thing is that this school needs better job distribution between teachers, because the amount of sections that has Singaporeans assigned as the majority for each section of the department is 4. That just shows that this school does not allow other nationalities to do the same job and opportunities. Another problem of this school is the management, the example is that each term the schedule for each term would change and the students or the parents will not informed about the changes and a teacher needs to tell the student at the start of each term in order to be informed instead of being informed during the holiday so that students can prepare for the start of the term

My opinion is that this school is a great school. I do not care if this school is in the top ten worst international schools in Thailand. I stayed here more than 6 years now and I am still learning.

Great school! Great teachers who care for the students. Great community of active parents. School administrators always try to improve when some issues need to be addressed. Love Principle Narisa, the NK Principle. She really care for the kids.
