Simoorgh Tennis Academy reviews
22J is the best tennis coach I have had classes with. He is not only great with spotting issues with my techniques but also excellent with teaching in simple and easy to understand methods. The courts are well maintained and top notch; staff are super friendly; prices are very reasonable; and the small lounge is lovely. I have flown over from overseas five times this year to have J’s classes. Highly recommend:)
Coach jay worked on the specific problems I have and corrected it easily and faster than any of the other coaches I’ve had.thank you! Very encouraging and pleasant coach.
Coach Jalal Fathi's point lesson is so good.
They filmed the video and analyzed it while watching it together.
Helped me a lot.
The staff are kind and the locals who come to the court are very good at it.
The next time I come to Bangkok, I want to take lessons again.
I took Mr Daco to train my son Luis. Wonderful.
Thanks Daco for your attention.

This tennis court is really great. I love to play tennis here. The surface has been maintained perfectly and the atmosphere for people love to have good tennis game is more than perfect.
The owner and the top coach K. Jay is very professional and passionate. I have improved my tennis immediately after the class with him. I'm very happy with my tennis level now.
Thank you Jay! Simourgh!
Good experience and nice owner. Don't forget to reserve a time. It costs 350 baht at evening per hour, rockets and balls are included.
Good option
I recently had a practice session there with a friend and it was as great.
Never knew it existed

I did one week of lessons here. I came with the intention of picking up the game again after not playing for 7 years. When I told coach that I used to play w double handed forehand, he suggested that I try to learn single forehand instead and I could give up if I do not like it after the 1st day. Coach was v detailed in breaking down the technique, footwork n ball timing. I feel myself improving throughout the week as coach would give small pointers each day for me to work on. I am now excited to continue practicing on my new stroke.
Booking for lessons via whatsapp was easy n responsive. Coach also speaks perfect English so language is not a problem at all. Local thai staff are also v welcoming n it makes the environment relaxing. I can chill all day courtside if I like.
As long as you come w an open mind n right attitude, I am sure you will enjoy yourself n pick up something new here.
Great tennis court and well maintained. Coach J is very pleasant and friendly, super nice guy! If you are looking for a tennis court with a good atmosphere, I recommend Simoorgh Tennis Academy. You can find new friends here easily and staff are very welcoming and helpful as well.
Sorry Coach Jalal for my late response, since my last training session with my Captain on 30/5, when today's just my 1st meet with the team mate upon returning to Singapore, to ensure my mates feel my improvement. I were an athlete to distinguish a good coach, who tried to eliminate my bad habits attentively. And absolutely both of us feel the difference from the past plays, by remembering all his words.
I'll be back to his academy by the end of this year for more intensive practices, and make schedule with him on a more regular basis, where's with decent courts, pleasant and friendly staff and ambience, excellent location (to walk modetately within 1km from On Nut BTS Station as warmups), and last but not least a wonderful Coach of 40+ years of coaching experience for all walks of tennis life, who's highly accommodating the tourist players in particular. It's pretty tough if NOT to recommend that to all of us, who love tennis regardlessly.
Thanks a million Coach Jalal for those marvellous times together, and see you soon.
Terrible courts (resurface would be nice), and they’re all about the money. Will nickel and dime you for all your money! I’ve been to many tennis courts and clubs in my life, and Simoorgh is one that really looks out for the club, and tries to get as much money from the players as possible. Terrible, I can imagine how the lessons are.
I would go else where to play! Will make a video about this experience soon.
I’ve tried three tennis coaches in BKK in the last couple of years and Coach Jay is my favorite by far! Courts are in excellent condition and the balls that we use for hitting practice are better than other places.
Good quality courts, reasonably priced, and has a recently renovated lovely lobby, sitting area and cafe which offers a decent variety of well-deserved snacks and drinks after a hard game of tennis!
Coach J is also a really effective coach for beginners and competitive players alike. He has a hawk eye and perfectionist approach to teaching and can break each step down to the most minute details so that each stroke has the right technique, and minimises any form of injury. I really enjoy learning under him and can see my game improve despite learning for a short period!
Highly recommend his courts and coaching!
Have been practicing here for over 2 years with Jay (the owner). And I’m super happy with my improvement Great place, amazing hospitality, super friendly staff, very loyal policy and low prices. You can find great coaches here or meet people to play with.
5 Stars place, highly recommended for all tennis lovers.
Coach Jay is a very gentle & professional.
Looking forward to having regular weekly game there.
Simoorgh is the best tennis club and courts along Sukumvit line. I've known Jay the owner for quiet a while now. He's a friendly guy and a fantatsic coach he runs the club out of love for tennis.
The court surface is very well maintained and crucially the lights on a night time are perfect and provide perfect lighting to see the ball.
Lights at courts like Spin and Slice are not bright enough and there aren't enough of them.
The price at Simoorgh is cheap compared to most high quality courts plus the club has a great mix of expats and locals making it a well balanced club.
Very nice courts! Awesome coaches! Mr. Jay (Jalal Fathi) was very professional! My son came here for three week and he learned a lot from Jay. Very specific teaching! We will totally come here again for the next holiday we have. Overall, superb!
I play here every week.the court have been renovated and light are better than other courts i've been playing around sukhumvit area.book in advance is my suggestions.the staffs are nice.coach with great technic.
Courts have been resurfaced recently. I thought they might raise the prices, they didn't.
The most important is, the owner manager is a coach, so he understands the players' needs and communicate well with clients.
Another court nearby in Soi 50 has higher price, plus manager is a lady who doesn't play and have terrible manners.
Between the two, this one wins handown
Simoorgh is the best place to play tennis in Bangkok. It is operated in a professional, common sense manner. And the owner Jay is an excellent certified coach and a friendly guy. His rates for personal and group coaching is low. Besides English, Jay speaks several languages including Thai.
I play at Simoorgh with a weekly MeetUp group of 12 people on Sundays. Everyone loves to play there. The 4 courts are kept clean and in excellent condition. Court fees are inexpensive and there is no charge for rental racquets.
