Silom Sauna reviews
19 A chic place with a specific ambience - it fulfills its functions 200%. For 250 baht you get slippers, clean shorts (if you want), towels, a plate of fruit with a bucket of soft drink, great steam - there are two large compartments, each with a classic steam room with two heaters, where they serve steam, God forbid (the Thais are great, they keep their brand, powerful), and there is a Turkish steam room, where the steam is like in a kettle.
The company you choose is excellent - if you want to meet and communicate with Thais, Chinese, Americans - this is the place.
In short, not a place, but a golden find, I highly recommend it!
For the price is very good got all you need
Sometimes water too hot or not cold enough happens sometimes. Still go there every week
It's located quite far down Sukhumvit Soi 22, at the end of an alley with a strong local flavor. The entrance fee is 250 baht and includes tea and fruit. Inside there is a regular sauna and a steam sauna, as well as a cold water pool and a slightly lukewarm pool. Most of the customers are Thai, and more than half of them have tattoos.
This is the best sauna I've been to in Bangkok; it's a relaxed and friendly place where people don't stare at you. It's affordable, offers unlimited water, and even provides a plate of fruits.
There was a sauna near my hotel so I went there.
There is a dry sauna, steam sauna, cold bath, pool, and gym, so you can use your phone or eat and drink during your breaks. There is also a smoking area.
Don’t waste over 800 baht for a decent sauna and hot-cold contrast therapy when you can come here to get the same experience but more old school Thai style. It’s a male only establishment where everyone is just simply mind their own business. Changing room is awkward with a couch and a few uncles sitting around watching TV but it is also part of the experience. You’ll make some new friends as a lot of guys who are into fitness around Mid Sukhumvit areas now frequent this place… you will also meet some old school Thai uncles that insist on throwing extra water into the sauna pit so the room is extra hot.
This is an ok sauna. Been to many, some better than this some worse. Value for money is good but needs cleaning.
It is a MALE only sauna by the way.
If you are tired from traveling in Thailand, you can detox here.
The hot sauna and cold water bath will soothe you.
It's a relaxing restaurant, so I use it when I travel to Thailand.
Entrance fee 200 baht
Massage fee: 300 baht + tip 100 baht
I declined the promised special after the massage.
The service of cold tea and fruits is the best, but the conversation of regular Thai people in the sauna is amazing, and I would like to ask for a "silent bath" to prevent infection in this corona wreck.
Awesome authentic sauna place! The sauna is hot and there's a pool of cold water outside. Best feeling ever to go sauna, sit in cold water, and repeat again. They also give you tasty food and a cold drink with a pool chair to rest in. Lots of local Thai people visiting. Price 250 baht
A bit old school.even though this is in the touristy area I would say this appears to be of like a spa that would be in a thai only neighborhood.steam room, sauna hot and cold baths and swimming pool
250bht
it you think luxury it is not.but definitely does the job.
A traditional bangkok experience in a wonderful, much lived-in old school sauna in soi 22.
Famous for foreigners. A little bit old, but full function for sauna and steam room lovers.
Very unassuming place from the outside but one you’re in it is well worth the 200baht fee. Nice hot sauna and cool pool with good snacks.
I have not used this facility, but after inspecting the area and noticing that smoking is allowed at rest area decided not to use it.
Very good location not far from Sukhumvit. I always like to come here in the afternoon for Sauna and shower and to dry my sweaty clothes. Not the best sauna in Bangkok, but a very reasonable option. Friendly staff.
Could be a little nicer maintained but it's a very nice area to hang out with decent though aged facilities and equipment.
Experience second to none. The sauna is not very clean but the overall idea, the community enough and visiting it is just awesome. Good food!
It's a great hidden local family sauna only for men. Pool, hot and cold water bath, shower, dry and steam sauna for 200 baht. Only notice is that never gave massage here if you want a normal massage. There are many good ones near here offer cheaper but better massage.
