Shoshana restaurant reviews
Good food and good service. Best for middle eastern cuisine. I am an Indian so I like spicy, the owner provided additional chilly chutneys to cater to my needs
Tucked away from the main street but worth the visit. Israeli food with Thai dishes option as well. Seems like most patrons order the falafel
We chose the hummus instead but rather disappointed. Lack flavour, quite bland with only taste of beans, had to add more olive oil to bring out some flavour
The Israeli salad is as plain as it could get - expected it to be more middle eastern flavoured
Got to give stars to the Schnitzel (chicken cutlet). Seasoned nicely and not expensive
We saw this place on Google and decided to come and try, the restaurant was nearly full what is great that means that the food is fresh. We were very welcomed by the staff and ordered drinks straight away, the staff knew how to speak proper English and were very friendly, we have ordered the shakshuka that came with pita bread and then the chicken schnitzel with mash potatoes and Israeli salad both dishes were great, the schnitzel was freshly made you could literally tell by the texture and flavour as well as the mash we were so satisfied and decided to order something sweet also and opted by the alfajore cookies which were made with condensed milk, coconut and butter cookies was also delicious but a bit overpriced. The mains were actually quite affordable as well as the drinks. The service it was great and fast. The place had outdoor and indoor seating available but we choosed to stay inside because of the air con.
There are varieties of food here. Israeli, Thai and others food. They are all well cooked. Good location in KaoSan area. The owner and staff are friendly. Will never get bored having food here.
The portions are quite big, but the shawarma meat is not the richest I've had. Still not bad either.
The friendly and efficient service
A nice restaurant, especially for Israelis.
I was not blown away by the food, as well as the service.
A varied and rich menu.
In my opinion, the price is expensive for what you get.
A visit for one meal is definitely enough.
Very pleasant team, we chose chicken and falafel pitas. Everything was very good!
If you want a change from Thai cuisine, do not hesitate to go there!
We found the food quality and taste to be great. We prepare ourselves almost every dish we ate and the Shoshana's version was like the ones our grandparents did.
Our favorite restaurant in Bangkok close to Khaosan
A lot of choices between israelian or thai dishes
They are all very good and quantity is very good
We definitely recommend!
They have an excellent palate for cooking with true taste for the people at a price for the people. I highly recommend. It is in an alley 20 meters from a main avenue in the Khaosan area
My family and I ate there last year, we had stomach upsets there and I have a bug in my stomach. I recommend not to approach, but do what you want.
The place was crowded so service was really slow. However, the food was amazing. I had the schnitzel with mashed potatoes, which I can truly recommend.
Landed here by accident - then been there several times.
Criss-cross very good food, great service and relatively cheap.
Recommended for those who are tired of Thai food.
You can eat Israeli food. There are also many Thai dishes on the menu.
Cracking meal, hummus and pitta with the chicken shwarma was excellent, host is lovely and offered some spicy topping which made it even better. Fast service, hoping to come back soon!
Amazing place, the food was not only great but also gluten free, something very difficult to find in Thailand, the owner is super friendly and he was able to tell us which food was made gluten free.
100% recommended and would come back!
One of the few cool restaurants in Khaosan. Rice noodles 120bht Ask for coriander separately. The taste is a delicious taste that everyone knows
