This place was a huge let down, the owner talked their place up so much but when I went it didn't live up to the hype. The desserts tasted so bland and weren't worth the price I paid for them.

I was over all disappointed by my visit, the staff was so rude and mean, not accommodating of dietary needs and didn't care if customers were allergic.

This is the worst cafe I have ever eaten at, so gross and dirty! I was so disappointed after visiting.

Dirty shop and kitchen. I ordered Matcha Latte again and got diarrhoea from the old and stale powder. Staff is very rude too!

I suggest going to the Banana Warrior Cafe rather than here if you would like healthy desserts from a sustainable business xx

Bad service, dirty tables and kitchen area. Got food poisoning and upset stomach after eating at this place.

Over-priced menu items. One tiny brownie, costs about 200 &up baht. The brownies taste bland and dry, and are hard to chew at times.

The desserts are priced the same as foreign gourmet bakeries such as Paris Mikki and Maison Eric Kayser when they are not the same quality. In fact, some of the gourmet menu items from those places are actually cheaper (and taste superior) to the items here!

If you are looking for a premium dessert experience, I suggest those other places mentioned instead.

Very dirty restaurant, bland unappetising food, and the staff had a rude and b*tchy face to customers! Will not return!

I'm allergic to eggs and could not eat anything on the menu due to this. Owner is unfriendly and not accommodating of dietary restrictions, plus the place puts common allergens in all menu items.

The desserts are overpriced and taste like cardboard. Chocolate brownie I ordered tastes dry and bland and the whip cream on drinks tastes weird like it was left out of the fridge for too long.

The cafe is so dirty. It looked like there were rats in the kitchen, and the food doesn't seem clean.

The owner of Shebakes in Bangkok constantly flouts on her social media account that she and the products she makes are "organic", "natural", "eco-friendly", "sustainable", "healthy", "fair-trade", and a plethora of other unverified adjectives - as there are virtually no regulations towards labeling products "organic", "healthy", "natural" etc.in Thailand.

In addition, the owner of Shebakes in Bangkok supports animal abuse. Several times, customers have contacted her about the "organic eggs", white chocolate and other dairy products that she uses which are all sourced from places following unethical and abusive practices.

After the owner of Shebakes in Bangkok was informed of this, she continues to go out of her way to support animal abuse and goes out of her way to support "organic" egg farms and "organic" factory farms, which all do these practices.

Customers have commented on her social media for months about the egg industry and dairy industry, as well as telling her about the food production documentary Dominion. The owner of Shebakes deletes and blocks the many comments about this and responds unprofessionally to customer concerns, blocking every comment and account, including polite ones, about her usage of unethically sourced ingredients and animal abuse. The owner of Shebakes exhibits extremely unprofessional behavior, always deleting and blocking every comment with a customer concern, especially ones that inquire about the ethics and facts about the egg industry and dairy industry which she sources her ingredients from.

This behavior is very bad PR for a "business". Her suspicious and cagey behavior, coupled with her avoidance of facts, demonstrates nonexistent business ethics and a steadfast denial of the realities of the egg industry and dairy industry. Instead of appropriately responding to customers' concerns in a professional manner, Shebakes rudely and callously disregards customers, and blocks and deletes everyone who questions the false "I am a moral and ethical business owner" narrative she uses to market her business. The owner of Shebakes also deletes the many negative reviews of her business every time she has an unhappy customer to make it seem like she has 5 stars, when the reality is that she deletes all negative and critical reviews of her product. If you are looking for a moral and ethical business to buy from, Shebakes in Bangkok is not it.

We stumbled into this place almost on accident. It's a hidden gem and I highly recommend! Very close to Wat Arun.

Amazing food and local business and owner! Vegan and gluten free options. An eco conscious and socially responsible business that buys from local farmers and offers recycling amongst other awesomeness.

Amazing place! Yupin is truly passionate about food. Not to mention delicious shakes. We loved it here. Out of all our places during that holiday, Shebakes solidified our superb first-time experience in Bangkok. In addition, she is lovely person as well. Thank you!
