Saxophone reviews
30 Good Cocktails, good food and not too overpriced. The music is mostly great as well, BUT WAY too loud.
I went at least 5 times over the past years and always left with a headache and tingling ears. I'm not overly sensitive, I enjoy concerts and loud clubs but saxophone is well overdoing it.
Forget having a conversation, that can only happen between songs. Songs that would actually be good at a more sensible volume but unfortunately you can't really make out much since it all turns into some mush at that volume
I love going to the Saxophone. The music is akwanya good the service is great and so is the atmosphere. Food and drink are good
Good for jazz and blues lovers. Other than that I found it to be just an okay place. It's a pub bit the draught beer they served was flat and not properly chilled. Food also was not great value. Live music is just too loud. No chance of a conversation when they're playing.
บรรยากาศดีมากดนตรีเพราะมาก ใครชอบสไตล์ Jazz ต้องมาโดนถือว่าเป็นร้าน Jazz ที่ดึงดูดใจอีกร้านนึงเลยทีเดียว
We went for jazz but got folk music "Eric Clapton" music. The drinks were good enough. Old pub style place. It's dark and carven like, so be careful with critters. Is imagine on a jazz night it's hopping!
Got to hangout with yourself on bar or your gang.price reasonable and love blue or jazz life music.
The food and drinks are reasonably priced for such a busy part of town but you're really here for the music! Every night, there is a live group performing. You don't want to miss it and please, stay for the entire set!
Staff is always grumpy. Mean word and face.
Food is good but very expensive.
Drink is just okay.
I would not get back. Never
If you plan to go, I recommend to go to another place which is close by, HEAP Victory Monument.
Classic place for jazz and blues. The place is iconic for Bangkok live jazz music with more than 30 years history. Must reserve your table if you want to eat or sit down for drinks. Not much standing room without blocking people view of the band. Foods are great too but not for budget conscious tourists.
Live music and atmosphere define Saxophone bar. When I first came in I felt like a pirate entering an old and creepy bar. The place is made od wood stairs, floors and walls. Light is dim with plenty of shadows which gives a fantastic halo to the whole place. And then there is the live music. The place shakes and vibrates with every rift. If you want to talk with your friends come before the music starts. Afterwards, just enjoy the music. Service was good, which just rounded the experience.
