I honestly don't want to write about this place, coz this is so amazing place on the river side being selfish that this place should not get crowded. But ya good places are worth a visit. You just go there have some sodas, eat, drink and watch the sun goes down right on the Chaophraya river. A hidden Gem.

Best bar we have found so far in more than 2 weeks in Thailand. A little tricky to find but well worth it.

Nice place by the river. But meals are extremely small, not tasty, too expensive and drinks as well.

Nice place for Sunlight view. Just un front of the new Lhong 1919, dedicated to Art. Fingerfood and a large choice of beers. Nice staff and lovely cats

Warm quick greeting, inspired little pieces of art scattered about. Comfy seats on breezy deck on the water. Great drink selection from earl grey liqueur to hearty plum wine. Lotus root chips when in season are very delicious.

Definitely one of the most charming places in Bangkok. Jazz, cats, river view and cocktails. And simplicity.

One of my favourite spots in Bangkok. Having a drink or something to eat by the river is excellent. Staff are super friendly too. Recommended!

Awkward to find but when you do. Such a cool place for a cocktail while watching the sunset over the river. Drinks are a bit pricier but with the view and ambience.with the experience!
Try the Earl Grey liquor with soda.very tasty!

Hidden gem for Bangkok, located right on the Chao Phraya river Bank in Chinese old town district (Bangkok China Town AKA “Yaowarat”).

Samsara (Sam-Sa-La, 3 Pavilion) is the small bar serving mostly small plates and drinks. The place is actually a house turned into a home bar. Only 8 tables available and usually no reservation can be made. So make sure you get there early (open at 5 pm) to get the river view table.

Strongly recommend!

Really great view! I would go there for drinks, it's great to still have places like these at the riverfront instead upscale or chic restaurants. Didn't like the food though, too pricey for what you get. Maybe we had just bad luck but our meal (had green curry and fermented pork with a side of lotus root chips) wasn't that tasty, maybe they are better with salad-like staff.

Located beside the river, this charming little bar is home to a great sunset view and a host of pretty cats that stay there.
The lotus roots are fantastic and goes well with beer, also go for their grilled eggplant salad too, it's pleasing to both the eye and the pallet.
It's not the cheapest place for drinks, a cocktail costs 200 baht but hey, you're paying for service and a view.
There is a sign at the front mentioning that they only serve those age 20 and above at the bar.

Great ambiance right on the river. Food on the pricey side and, while ok, not all that interesting

Very private Riverside restaurant, the owner do everything by himself it may take a moment for food or order. I recommend "fried lotus root"

Awesome vibe, incredible food. We sat on the covered deck on the river and shared some small plates. The seared tuna, calamari, lotus root chips, chicken wings, and Chinese herb and pork soup were all delicious. A bit hard to find. Keep walking down the alley and the entrance will eventually be on the right.
