Royal India reviews
63If you have a chance to stop by at Siam Paragon, I would highly recommend an Indian Restaurant name is Royal India on the ground floor. You would enjoy your meal for sure.
We are visiting Bangkok from UK. Seeing big name Royal India in a big complex Siam Paragons, I and my wife thought to have lunch with great expectation but we were so disappointed with the quality and taste. I ordered Non veg Thali in which everything was half cooked.mix veg perhaps was directly from fridge with some gravy on it.chicken was tough. Nan too was not properly baked.prawns was ok.
My wife ordered Biryani and here too rice was half cooked. Just mixing up rice with meat/ masala is not Biryani dear Royal India. You did ask me how is the food and I said it is very bad. You saw we left most portion uneaten.
If you are gourmet who loves North Indian cuisine or even a random adventurer of gastronomia, this is a place where you will experience
sublime tastes that soothe the soul.
The taste of Royal India is not new to me, yet each visit is a homecoming, with a pleasant surprise or two like the very first! This is where Indra, the god king, dines when he deigns to holiday in the mortal realm!
The food is amazing, the seasonings are balanced and on point. The naan bread is made fresh with a hint of char and the fragrance and mild sweetness from the garlic butter. The proteins are cooked through perfectly, the chicken is tender and moist and the mutton is soft and tender. Would highly recommended this place despite a relatively high price point.
ครั้งแรกที่มาทานร้านอาหารอินเดียเลยค่ะ เลือกเมนูไม่ถูก มีคุณพนักงานช่วยแนะนำเมนูให้ บริการดีสุดๆค่ะประทับใจมากๆ
What a great place to enjoy Indian food. The food was authentic and flavorful. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious Indian meal in Siam Paragon!
The price is understandable, as it’s located in one of the best malls in Asia… also the food was excellent and also service
Worst Indian food ever! Have had Indian at many places in Thailand, but this is the worst by far. They put sooo much of colour, that it will disgust you. No flavours at all. Tasteless and bland food.
Worst part is the taste and second worst part is the portion. They are so tiny. First time ever saw a red coloured Dal Makhani. Paneer tikka masala has just 3 Paneer pieces and 6-7 big pieces of Tomatoes.
All dishes and breads are priced exorbitantly and portions are extremely small. Only restaurant in Thailand, where you will see sad faces instead of smiling faces. All staff Indian/ Nepali were looking, as they are forced to work here.
Please please never go there and save yourself from having the worst food with worst service.
We had a tough time locating the restaurant in the food court. The food is ok, not very relishing. Can try if you are looking for vegetarian food in Bangkok. Price wise the food is expensive.
Worst experience. Very expensive. Chicken biriyani was pathetic. If you want good Indian food, I would never recommend this restaurant.
กินยังไม่เสร็จก็เก็บไปเลย ไปกินช่วงคนเยอะพนักงานก็ยืนจ้อง กดดัน รีบเอาบิลมาวางทั้งๆที่ยังกินอยู่
Horrible experience.
Not recommended, highly priced, very very less quality, average taste.
NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.
GO THERE IF YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY.
First time in my life I taste ketchup masala instead of butter chicken masala, never try again
Wonderful experience and delightful food, the spices were on point and the portions were perfect would highly recommend!
Quality of food is so average, the seatings are good, service is fast, the bread “ naan “ is excellent
Over all if you like the indian foods this is not the right place to have indian food
Over priced as well
The best indian food in Bangkok. Quick service.
Taste s authentic. Customer service is good.
Must try
We spent 2.2K THB as three people, but believe me the food was not enough for even one person, we always expect if price is high then the service and food will be good but it was pathetic, especially the raita, extremely disappointed with the service, food and price. Not a good recommendation for anyone.
Expensive! Plain briyani will you 1,500 baht. The food taste - just average. This restaurant shouldn't be on your visit list unless you don't have any choice. I'd wouldn't come again for sure.
Below par food with zero taste. They don't shy away from charging top Dollar, and force you to pay 10% service charge. Most likely the worst meal I've had all month of traveling in Thailand.
Ordered food for two persons, they just forgotten to bring the food for one of us, no apologies, no discount, even didn’t remove the 10% of service charge that they include automatically. Spoken very rude. Here you have to pay for the service even you don’t have a service.
After 10 minutes of arguments, we demanded a manager, the waiters said that "we do not have a boss. " Luckily, five minutes later, the boss (apparently by accident) walked into the restaurant. Employees will not only be rude to you, but also lie! In the end, having spent time and nerves, we achieved the exclusion of the service fee.
