Royal India reviews
47 Royal India is a small, partially hidden gem. 54 years old.
The food was fantastic and the service was excellent.
We had Pani Puri, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Chicken Biryani and Rasmalai.
Every dish was excellent and the chicken was perfectly cooked in each dish.
The food taste and texture is good but it is not hot.the atmosphere is quite traditional.
Overall is good.
Nice little Indian cafe style restaurant on Chakkraphet Road. It's well signed but very unassuming as you need to pass down a small alleyway to reach the front door. Owner was very friendly and welcoming and recommended a couple of dishes. We ordered Lamb Rogan Josh (which was the star of the show), spinach, occra, pilau rice, naan, poppadom, and samosa. All super tasty. It wasn't busy. The restaurant was clean and we were served our food promptly. Total bill of around 970THB for 2. Would recommend and certainly visit again.
Great Indian restaurant in Bangkok for home cooked style food. Everything was great except the biryani wasn’t as expected. Very reasonably priced and good portions. We enjoyed our meal here
Great food good service I took the butter chicken and it was great.
It is the first time that I am trying Indian food and the experience was great and very tasty.
ร้านเก่าแก่ เคยกินมานานแล้ว วันนี้กลับไปกินซ้ำอีกรอบ อร่อยเหมือนเดิม บริการดีครับ ราคาไม่แพง
Best place! Kob kun kap~
They have the most authentic spot. Don't be alarmed by the street, it's the gate to heaven.for your tummy!
Enjoy the secrets of Royal India everyone!
Kindly do not go to this place guys. It’s waste of money and the quantity of the food is too less for the money we pay and the staff is horrible, they are very rude and do not pay any attention for Indians and do not treat us well. There are so many better places where we get good food for even better place.
One the worst places I have been to in Bangkok.
Long-standing Indian restaurant in Pahurat area. Good food and good price, very small space however so make sure to arrive early during peak hours
Very average food. You can try, if you not find any other option. I will suggest you to go to indra market. There are lot of good indian restaurants
Nice place for Indian gormet though frankly, they need some competition around so that they improve and try and get better. Right now, all is stale and The Same from many years. It's a No Option restaurant.
The service is really bad! They don’t greet you or anything! They don’t say thank you for coming, nothing. The food wasn’t good either so I wouldn’t come back.
Awsome place with best food.
Even far better than india's food. A flavor of mother's handmade food. Amazing place for visit. Feels like you're at your home.
A good place to have Indian food in Bangkok, loved the homely taste, one should visit it if searching for Indian food.
A very first Indian restaurant in the town. Quality is good. The restaurant located at the little India.
Expensive, and not so good Indian food. Was extremely disappointed especially after reading such good reviews, clearly from people who aren’t used to eating proper Indian food. The samosas and mango lassi - I think these are amongst the worst I have had.
We shared a chicken set plus paratha: the naan and paratha are good, very nice - this has to be noted. The rest.ok ish. The worst part is we felt sick all afternoon and evening after our rather expensive lunch (600 baht for two with shared menu. I’ve had waaaay better dishes in fancier places for cheaper than that!)
So overall, would never return. Because the naans and the chicken were good, I still put a 3 star but a 2star would be more adequate.
