ROAST coffee & eatery

One of my favorite cafes to visit when I'm in Bangkok, there are several branches and this one in The Commons Thonglor is possibly the most gorgeous. The food is fresh and tasty. Service staff can speak English and menu is in English too.

Its a pity that the menu has been drastically reduced, very few options and and brunch limited at best.would welcome a return to the variety of before. Heres hoping.

I love the food and ambiance here but they changed their pasta to homemade pasta which doesn’t taste great, and you have no option to choose from their original pasta to their homemade one

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Bangkok! The ribs are to die for, they're the softest most delicious ribs you can find. The sugar snap pea salad is sweet and healthy. The complimentary bread and salted butter is absolutely amazing. It's a must visit!

Very nice design but coffee is overpriced and really not good taste nor quality, also surprisingly they charged for a distilled water. No cafe nor restaurant charge for plain water, that's just bad manners

Its located in The Commons Thonglor, the restaurant is on the top floor has both indoor and outdoor. Nice atmosphere to sit outside when the weather not too hot. But this is Bangkok:)
Foods are great.

Avocado toast was delicious. Very thoughtful and intentional dishes. A bit pricey, but there are cheaper options. I would return to try more things!

Nice place, not so much for breakfast but rather brunch/lunch.

Cold brew coffee was nice, I had the pulled pork burger (see attached) with their hand cut fries.

Only downside was that we ordered something that they only told us after 30 minutes of wait that it was out.

Cherry is an excellent waitresss, speaks English very well

Chill and cozy place for gathering. There dessert is more amazing than that of Pasta

Surprisingly not over-hyped. The half-baked cookie dough brownie thing with ice cream nearly gave me a heart attack but was very much worth it

Roast at The Commons is charming, and has gorgeous industrial chic decor that I really enjoyed. The staff were courteous and friendly. Our food arrived quickly, was nicely presented and delicious. Everything we ate was so good, we kept trading and nibbling from each other's plates.
The Roast makes their own bread and it's wonderful. This is a real find and The Commons is fascinating.

Good food but bad service as she seems impatient as we took sometime to order. Overall atmosphere are café enough. All the food we order are pretty good. But we place under Aircon, so pretty cold and uncomfortable.

Nice ambiance. Enjoyed the brunch menu. Friendly service although there was delay in our beverage order as the staff forgot about it.

Awesome lunch sets. Cool laid back vibe. The Commons is only a small building but worth the trip if you want decent food with a Hip ambience.

Visited for brunch. All the food was excellent. The setting is bright, with windows all around. The view from the top of The Commons community mall is quite nice.

Egg benedict would not disappont you! There are quite a variety of drinks. You might have to queue up during brunch time on weekends.

We really enjoyed ROAST Coffee & Eatery. It's cool yet inviting industrial design is casually elegant. It's fun to look over the books on the nearby shelves. They're great conversation starters.
The service is friendly and efficient and the food was nicely presented and quite good.
We'll definitely visit again on future visits to Bangkok.

A lovely place for brunch/lunch. Service is fast and food tastes great. We ordered chicken quesadilla, croquette, waffle with strawberry and cream (a must!). They were all very good. There are outdoor and indoor seatings. Usually very popular so expect to queue!

The pairing of latte and half baked is my favorite. It's irresistible

Great spot for brunch that sits on the top floor of this multi-purpose, Eco-friendly mall/co-working space. Delicious drinks and good chicken jerk sandwich. Slightly more up-market yuppie prices, but worth every baht.
