River Barge

The restaurant is spacious, even with crowded guests. We got a table of 6 right in the middle of the place. The staff were helpful and cheerful. We were served with special services. The buffet line was packed with a variety of food. We enjoyed the grilled seafood, japanese sashimi bar, oysters from France, salads and Thai desserts. We would come back for sure. Highly recommended

The service and meal was great. The staff are very helpful and professional. The range of food/seafood was excellent. On the whole, the food was of very good standard. The setting was lovely and our experience was a good one.

We had an evening with my wife for our wedding anniversary. As a vegan, I normally avoid open buffets. However, in their open buffet, they had a clearly marked area for vegan/ vegetarian foods. Great range. Food and service was great. Thank you!

We were staying at the hotel and decided to try the in-house restaurant after recommendation from the reception staff. We choose the a la carte menu instead of the buffet and were soon regretting our decision to dine in at the premises. The food was abhorring and the service was even worse. I have never seen a poorer service and food quality in any in-house restaurant of a five star establishment. Maybe the buffet is better.
UPDATE: we ended up trying the buffet for dinner and it didn’t disappoint us. The service was on point and the food was good.
In retrospect i can see that most of their staff and kitchen is busy with buffet service and hence the issues with service for a la carte menu.

อาหารคุ้มค่ากับราคาที่จ่าย พนักงานบริการ ดีมาก บรรยากาศดีครับ มีเรือบริการไปกลับ จาก bts สะพานตากสิน

Good price dinner buffet, like grilled seafood, the rest is so so.but to keep price low. Very crowded. Service is good.

Worst experience. Booked a dinner buffet and when we arrived was said we aren’t applicable for the discount. Worst staff and customer service experience ever. The F&B person had no service mind.

มีโอกาสไปทานบุฟเฟ่ติ่มซำตอนเที่ยง ขอชื่นชมในบริการนะครับ น้องๆน่ารักดูแลเอาใจใส่ดี มากๆอันนี้ชมจริงๆ เชฟเตรียมก็อัธยาศัยดีครับ

เรื่องอาหาร ก็เหมือนบุฟเฟทั่วไป บางอย่างทานได้ บางอย่างเด่นมาก บางอย่างถึงกับหยุดทาน

ติ่มซ่ำวันที่ไปคนเต็มร้าน รอนานไปนิดเข้าใจได้แลกกับวิวเจ้าพระยาสวบๆ แต่อาจเพราะคนเยอะแล้วอาจเร่งไฟนึ่ง ทำให้หลายๆเมนูค่อนข้างเละ ใช่ตะเกียบคีบแล้วเปื่อยใส่ทะลุออกหลุดออกจากกันแทบทุกอย่าง ต้องเปลี่ยนมาใช้ช้อนทานแทน

ติ่มซำกระดูกหมู xo นี่เด่นมากครับที่นี่ หมูแดงก็นุ่มหอม เกี๋ยวกุ้งทอดก็เยี่ยม ซุบเสฉวนก็ดี ซาลาเปาส้มแมนดารินก็แปลก

ที่ต้องปรับปรุงเลยคือ เป็ดปักกิ่ง อันนี่น่าจะทำแต้มต่ำสุดในทุกร้านที่เคยไปลองมา ไม่แน่ใจเพราะเรื่องคนแน่นร้านหรือไม่ แต่หนังเป็ดแล่ติดมันข้างในมาหนามาก ทำให้ออกเหม็นหืน หนังด้านนอกกรอบแต่มันมากจนเลี่ยน น้ำจิ้มค่อนข้างใสจืด เอาออกมาวางก่อนเป็ดออกนานมากจนตอนแรกยังแอบนึกว่าเป็นน้ำจิ้มหมูแดง แตงกวาและพริกหยวก คงหั่นเตรียมไว้นานจนผิวสัมผัสแห้งมากๆครับ อยากให้ทางร้านลองแก้ไขตรงจุดนี้ ที่เหลือถือว่าโอเคแล้วครับ แล้วจะไปชิมใหม่ครับ:)

Had dinner and breakfast at river barge, seafood dinner was decent but no lobster or king crab, oysters on the skinny side too. Some items like roast pork was not refillable so once it’s finished, it’s simply gone. Breakfast variety is decent for 5 star hotel but it used to be outstanding pre-covid, with true international spread in morning serving Japanese in the menu but now it’s only thai, western and Chinese. The service, ambience (next to river for outdoor seating) are still great

ล่าสุดมาใช้บริการ Voucher: Dim Sum All-You-Can-Eat ของห้องอาหาร Silver Waves แต่เนื่องจากสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของเชื้อโควิด-19 ส่งผลกระทบให้ห้องอาหาร Silver Waves ปิดบริการชั่วคราวมาซักพักใหญ่แล้ว โดยทางโรงแรมย้ายมาใช้พื้นที่ของห้องอาหาร River Barge แทน เพื่อรองรับลูกค้าจำนวนมากโดยที่ยังสามารถดำเนินตามมาตรการเรื่องการจัดโต๊ะแบบเว้นระยะห่างได้ วิวของห้องอาหารมองออกไปเห็นแม่น้ำดูแล้วสดชื่น

มาใช้บริการมื้อกลางวันวันเสาร์ กลางเดือนพฤศจิกายน ลูกค้าแน่น เต็มทุกโต๊ะ แต่พนักงานก็ยังบริการลูกค้าได้ค่อนข้างทั่วถึง แม้บางจังหวะจะเรียกหาพนักงานยากซักหน่อยเพราะพนักงานกำลังให้บริการโต๊ะอื่น ๆ อยู่

เมนูติ่มซำ All-You-Can-Eat ดูจะลดความหลากหลายและลดความอลังการไปจากเดิมพอสมควร เมื่อเทียบกับช่วงก่อนโควิด-19 ระบาด แต่โดยรวมก็ยังถือว่าโอเค ยังคงรักษามาตรฐานความอร่อยไว้ได้ใกล้เคียงเดิม แม้ว่าหลายเมนูจะหายไปแต่ก็มีเมนูใหม่ ๆ ที่มาทดแทนอยู่เหมือนกัน โดยส่วนตัวเมนูที่รสชาติถูกใจในคราวนี้ ได้แก่ หมูแดงอบน้ำผึ้ง กุ้งผัดซอสเสฉวน เกี๊ยวเสฉวนหม่าล่า ซี่โครงหมูนึ่งเต้าซี่มะนาวดอง และขนมไหว้พระจันทร์ไส้คัสตาร์ดไข่เค็ม เสียดายไม่ได้ชิมเมนูของหวานเพราะสั่งไปช่วงท้ายก่อนหมดเวลาให้บริการ แต่ลูกค้าเยอะมากทำให้พนักงานง่วนอยู่กับการเช็คบิลลูกค้าโต๊ะอื่น ๆ ก็เลยไม่ได้ตามเพื่อทวงถาม

I LOVE IT! My experience here was superbly amazing. I enjoyed our first visit. Such delicate food choices, sumptuously delicious. I must say, this place is much recommended by yours truly. The cozy ambience and friendly staff that complete the service package more than ever. They serve with their best. Majority of the staff I spoke with can speak good english, no doubt, it's a five star hotel restaurant. You should try a visit here if you haven't tried. ตั้งใจมาทานมื้อกลางวันที่นี่ แต่วันนี้ไม่ได้เปิดให้บริการ เลยต้องทานที่ล็อบบี้บาร์แทน แต่ไม่เป็นไรครับ เพราะอาหารที่ได้ทานล้วนแต่ถูกปาก ชอบทุกเมนูที่ทานครับ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเป็ดปักกิ่ง พิซซ่าพาร์มาแฮม ข้าวผัดปู ติ่มซำ เด็ดทุกเมนูครับ

Waited 40 minutes for half of our food to come out. We were repeatedly ignored in our attempts to get staffs attention to ask where our now hour long wait French toast had gone. In the end we left without the French toast an 1 hr and 45 minutes later with no explanation as to where our poor toast had gone. The food that we did receive was disjointed in it's arrival and aggressively mediocre. Coffee was only a small step up from instant coffee. Overall, for the quality we came to expect from the hotel itself, we were very disappointed. The pork chop and roasted veggies were decent enough.

This place is within the Chatrium Hotel by the river. Beautifully decorated and with live music. Perfect for a nice romantic meal sitting by the river. The restaurant offers a la carte menu and buffet. I would go for the buffet. Like most of the buffets in South East Asia, they offer a small selection of food from all over the world, Thai, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, steak and grill and a seafood section. Food is above par!

Initially the service was poor as we were sitting at the corner and the lack of attention from the waiting staff prompted me to make a complaint (I rarely make a complaint), the manager Mr Porksak really took it on board and thanked me for my feedback. You can tell he is genuinely sorry for the poor or rather lack of service and he took it upon himself to serve us for the rest of the evening. Things can go wrong and it’s silly to expect everything is perfect all the time, but what counts is their effort to make things right! For that I could not fault Mr Porksak for even a little bit. The evening was enjoyable for me and my guest and I have a lot to thank Mr Porksak for.

Food 8/10, ambience 9/10, service 9/10, value for money 9/10. A real gem.
