A nice park to walk around but everyone really goes for the huge monitor lizards roaming near the lakes.

Park for comfort in the heart of the city.
There are many people who do gymnastics and people who ride bicycles.
There are many shade trees and benches, so it's a good place to take a break during your trip.

My favourite spot in Bangkok. Beautiful and serene - a great place to recuperate after big days of sight seeing and food spot hopping.

The "Central Park" of Bangkok offers free parking for visitors. The park authorities efficiently managed the parking area, ensuring only leisure vehicles occupy the spaces. I enjoyed jogging in the park during cooler hours, and the presence of tall trees provided ample shade throughout the day.

ไปบริจาคเลือดที่สภากาชาดไทยเสร็จแล้ว เลยมานั่งเล่นที่นี้ อากาศดี ต้นไม้เยอะ คนวิ่งออกกำลังกายมีพอสมควร

The park is a little old and it is a little overgrown, that being said it is still one of the best places to go and watch the Giant monitor lizards to which this park is well known and is rightly famous.
We had a delightful time walking the park and seeing these awesome creatures.

นอกจากนั้น ในอดีต เป็นสถานที่กิจกรรรมหรือโครงการพิเศษอย่างสม่ำเสมอ เช่นดนตรีในสวน ศูนย์เยาวชนลุมพินี รวมทั้งงานราตรีสโมสรในช่วงสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 อีกด้วย

For those planning to visit Bangkok in thailand, there is a beautiful gem in the city called Lumphini Park, great for walking, exercising, and sightseeing, beautiful scenery with man made lakes and canals, I do recommend this park if you're Bangkok. It's also free to enter and enjoy, and you can bring your bicycle.

Amazing. My favourite park in Bangkok City. One of my main reasons i was able to transform to a fitter body.

Easy to get there by MRT drop at Silom station. You can walk, run and ride bikes around the lake and under shade of trees. Play with friendly cats and water monitors.

ไปช่วงห้าโมงเย็น คนไม่เยอะมาก อากาไม่ค่อยร้อน น้องแมวเยอะ อ้วนท้วม และขี้อ้อน ไปวิ่งได้สุขฃาพกาย ไปอ้อนแมวได้สุขภาพใจ

เป็นสวนสาธารณะใจกลางกรุงเทพที่ร่มรืน และไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่ายใดๆ มีคนมาใช้ออกกำลังกายทำกิจกรรมกันอยู่เป็นประจำ แต่ก่อนตัวเงินตัวทองจะเยอะมาก แต่หลังจากเจ้าหน้าที่จับไปตอนนี้ก็เหลืออยู่น้อยลงไป แต่ที่มาใหม่คือ อีกา ตอนนี้เยอะมากๆ จนกลายเป็นสัตว์เจ้าถิ่นไปแล้ว ถ้าใครคุ้นเคยกับสัตว์ก็จะชอบแต่ถ้าใครไม่คุ้นก็อาจจะรำคาญบ้างนิดหน่อยครับ

Beautiful place, nature surrounded by the big city. There are many birds, flowers, trees and giant monitor lizards pay attention, there are snakes as well

Love that park, lots of commotion, its free, cheap boat rides in the lake with accompanying komodos.
Lots of equipment for workout but only useful for total beginners. Sadly the big free roaming Python is gone now, at least the guards didn't know about it anything in march. Last time i saw it, resting on the fence was in 2016.

Always a fantastic place to go and exercise. Takes you away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok nicely.

I have been here many times before and I visited 15 Mar 2021 and the park was in complete disrepair. The park sorely needs maintenance. Not sure it is due to lack of funds because of Covid-19 but the park infrastructure is falling apart. The water is dirtier than ever. The seating is rotted and is missing protective paint. What happened to this premier green space? See the park building infiltrated with mildew. Park workers with no supplies other than lawn mowers. Bathrooms were clean. Landscaping was poor compared to past standards. Benches were rotted with paint falling off. I have dozens of bench photos that are similar. I didn't see one worthy of use. Most of the homeless stay on abandoned concrete benches due to covid-19 closed concessions. Many homeless people surrounded by large crows. Maintenance is always cheaper than starting over. Unless all funds were shut off then the management needs to be held accountable.

สวนสาธารณะใจกลางเมือง ปอดของคนกรุงเทพฯ แหล่งรวมผู้ที่ขื่นขอบการจ๊อกกิ้งทุกวัยตั้งแต่เด็กจนกระทั่งผู้สูงอายุ อีกทั้งมีลานกิจกรรมและขมรมสันทนาการอื่นๆที่น่าสนใจ เกินทางสะดวกด้วยBTSลงสถานีศาลาแดง หรือ MRTลงสถานีสีลม ในช่วงโควิดมีมาตรการวัดอุณหภูมิผู้เข้าใช้บริการในสวนอย่างเคร่งครัด
