Rang Mahal reviews
82Amazing Indian food with lots of vegetarian options. Lokesh and Binay looked after us very well. Will definitely go back!
Had a first visit to Rang Mahal and it was a great dining experience. The atmosphere is great with a good view and service is really good. Was well treated and served by Binay and Bung. The food portion are good
Was visiting Bangkok and this restaurant was highly recommended by a friend. For our 35th wedding anniversary we decided to visit the restaurant and glad we did. The meal was lovely and the staff were very attentive to your needs especially Binay. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a beautiful Indian meal.
First of all the greeting was really nice. We got greeted at the door immediately.
The food was delicious and the servers were always ready to offer their help or pay attention to us. Our main man was called Ramsi Lokesh and out chef was called Mr. Ramesh. I can only give them my biggest praise. Really friendly people and really good chef.
They were really helpful and friendly and I cant do anything but recommend this place
The portions are not small or 'america big' but it was enough for a person who normally eats alot
The view is also very nice. The music is mostly indian but you can have your own request, thats really cool.
The food was absolutely amazing. A heaven for Indian food lovers along with the superb service. Special thanks to Mr. Binay for making our experience royal.
We tried so many things and each and every one of them were so delicious. To name a few Mutton biriyani, Roganjosh, Garlic naan, sheek kebab, Pani puri, bhel puri, aloo chaat, singharas, Lassi, Golab jamun, Ras golla. I'm salivating again just thinking about it
Finally its very well decorated with a good view of Bangkok's sky line. Surely I will be coming here more.
Was here back in December and I forgot to review, food and service were perfect. 7 months later and we are still talking about how good the food was. We didn't order the Dal but we had a taste of it after our meal and it was incredible I've been ordering dal in every Indian restaurant I've been in since and I've not found one that lives up to it.
Food is quite good, with some interesting choices. Ambience wise, I don’t like dark restaurant and this place was really dark. One cannot really read the menu. Quite pricey, but view is fantastic.
Very luxurious with prices to match, but better Indian food can be found. The food is tailored to western tastes.
I am not sure how or why it has the rating it has, everyone i know had a bad experience here.
Although the restaurant is located in a good place with a view and looks really fancy, the food is really quite average.
Average in terms of the price which is exorbitant and the portions are so less, sometimes not even enough for one person. It is okay to charge more but the service that comes at such restaurants are supposed to be premium.
If you ask the waiter to suggest they will definitely suggest you the dishes with high prices, small portions and even suggest you to order more than one in number. The service is extremely average with the food coming in after 30-45 mins you order and waiters took the food back after serving instead of leaving it at our table.
You are probably paying for the fancy visuals.
One of the best Indian food I tried in my entire life.every time I come to Bangkok I insist to visit rang mahal.the food quality are top, I tried most of the food menu, the variation of the set menu are wonderful also the order menu.the location of the restaurant in the 26th floor in Rembrandt hotel and the view of the skyline is amazing and not miss.
I recommend to reserve your table before you go the restaurant.
Rang Mahal is located on the 26th floor on Hotel Rembrandt, very close BTS Asok, Went there to celebrate my wife’s Birthday on 27th May. My kids and family really enjoyed the visit. Mr. Binay took extra ordinary care of us including offering some free Chocolate dessert after our dinner. The Dal Makhani was super tasty. My kids thoroughly enjoyed it and would like to go again there on special occasions. Maybe a bit on the pricey side, but it’s worth the experience. Ensure you have a Booking in advance, I got mine on Eatigo with additional 10% discount. Also has Valet parking
View from restaurant is fantastic and food is decent. But extremely expensive. Sara's is close by and is a lot better.
Rang Mahal is one of the oldest Indian restaurant in Bangkok. The food over the years have gone down in both quality and quantity. The atmosphere of the restaurant has been the same since 12 years. Service of the restaurant is average and not as high as a fine restaurant should have. The new menu change has reduced the vegetarian options. The restaurant needs renovations and needs to redesign the menu for both Vegetarians and Non Vegetarians.
Good was good, view and service were amazing. Lokesh was our waiter and he did a great job providing service and recommending dishes to try.
Quality of food top notch. Options are less though
Ambience soothing and classy. We requested for a small cake for my father's bday and they made a superb arrangement.
Binary & Ramji our experience so much more interesting, explaing the food and best to try. A must for anyone who love Indian food and staying at or near the Rembrandt hotel, Bangkok.
Excellent food, service, atmosphere. A little bit expensive, but can be expected for what you get. Everything is good, and the various types of Naans are all delicious. Had a nice complimentary chocolate at the end of the meal.
Personally i did not like food as it is not authentic, spice level was not right compare to back home restaurants in London, Service was pretty slow trying too hard to impress but i guess need fresh trainings.
Fantastic i would 100% recommend this restaurant i eat alot of curries but this was the best thank you
Best service in Thailand. Beautiful decor and rich food. If you are craving Indain food I recommend this place.
