Rama VIII Park

The park is located nearby the river and the Rama VIII Bridge, very beautiful to see in the evening and after sunset when the night light set up for the bridge. The parking is hard to find but worth checking in and visiting.

ติดแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา วิวสวยมาก มาออกกำลังกันนะคับ แต่ตอนนี้เริ่มทรุดโทรมและสกปรกในบางจุด เจลแอลกอฮอร์ทำความสะอาดมือไม่มีบริการในช่วงนี้ ต้องเตรียมกันมาเองนะคับ

I like this park. Not very crowded inside the park. Good for exercise everyday. Also the park is beside the Chao Phraya River.

มาออกกำลังกายกันที่สวนพระราม 8 บรรยากาศดี วิ่งริมน้ำเจ้าพระยา ดูวิวสะพาน เรือสำราญ น่ามาพักผ่อนหย่อนใจมากครับ

Beautiful gardening, even butterflies flitting about, it was very relaxing to sit on a bench and look out over the Chao Phraya River and the Rama VIII Bridge that crosses it. There is also a famous music conservatory on the property.
There is no store. Parking is on the side but hard to find, so I asked the security guard at the entrance of the park and he was kind enough to tell me.

Great little park, nice place with many benches for sitting and enjoying the nature. Many birds and nice trails for walking. Near the river. Well maintained. Thanks!

Lots of sports, a bit of greenery in the big city.if I lived in Bangkok I'd go there every day!

บรรยากาศดีริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา สวนหย่อมริมน้ำ ร่มรื่น มีลู่วิ่ง และสวนออกกำลังกายพร้อมเครื่องมือแบบง่าย ๆหรือเดินออกกำลังกาย หรือแม้กระทั่งเดินเล่นพักผ่อนยามเย็น ไม่มีที่จอดรถเฉพาะ แต่พอจะหาได้ตามริมถนนด้านใต้สะพานพระราม8

I visited this park because gyms were closed due to covid19. And I must say it is amazing. You can play basketball, soccer, volleyball (under the bridge), and etc. The park area itself is super nice. Lots of trees. Nice river view. Good place for an IG pic. There are also many street food "restaurant". Definitely a must visit park and one of the most under rated park in Bangkok. I forgot to mention, it's near Khao San road for the tourists out there.

Open, Green and Charming place. Great people resting and doing exercise. I feel homely whenever I am there.

ได้เข้าไปนั่งในสวนริมแม่น้ำแล้วรู้สึกสบายใจผ่อนคลายดีมากๆโดยเฉพาะไปเดินเล่นบนสะพานพระราม8ลมพัดเย็นสบาย

Spectacular and charming views by Chaopraya River side, especially at sunset and early evening times. (The park closes at 9 pm). Mainly local people exercise here in the evening. Tranquil hidden gems in Bangkok.

A nice park by Chao Praya River. A lot of people come here for jogging, walking, exercise and relaxing. There are steps to walk down directly into the river. As far as I can see, there is no food selling stall in the park. It looks safe.

ช่วงนี้ 8 - 19 ก. พ. 63 ที่บริเวณสวนพระราม 8 มีการจัดงานสวนแห่งความรักนะครับ ใครที่สนใจสามารถมาร่วมงานได้นะ ส่วนสวนพระราม 8 ในวันปกตินั้น บรรยากาศดีมากๆ อากาศเย็นสบายน่ามาเดินออกกำลังกาย มาเดินกะแฟน มาเดินกะเพื่อน หรือมาเดินเหงาๆ คนเดียวแบบผม ก็ได้นะ ยิ่งช่วงที่มีเรือผ่าน เราจะได้ยินเสียงเหมือนคลื่นซัดฝั่งด้วย ได้บรรยากาศมากกกครับ

สถานที่สะอาด ติดริมน้ำเจ้าพระยา มีจุดให้นั่งพักผ่อนแบบศาลาริมน้ำ หรือจะนั่งในสวนสาธารณะก็ได้ ช่วงเช้ากับเย็น สามารถมาออกกำลังกายได้ ปิดสวนเวลา 21.00 น.

It was a nice place and when I was there there was a festival for Thai ppl which was about forgiveness i really enjoyed it and bought those beautiful flowers to celebrate with them
