Public Swimming Pool Khlong Toei Youth Center reviews
7สระทำใหม่ ห้องน้ำใหม่ ค่าบริการถูก แค่สมัครสมาชิก แต่ให้ว่ายเป็นรอบๆ รอบละชั่วโมงครึ่ง
Nice and clean place. Please note if you are going for first time please take your passport and copy of it. We have to walk in morning for few kilometers to find it. 150 thb membership and 150 thb every time charge to use. Pool depth 5 feet. Length 25 meters.
This is not a public swimming pool. I am only in Bangkok for one week and I saw this swimming pool while running in the park. I came for one session, however they said it was a members only pool. The photos of this pool do not make that clear. I swim regular and I am a very competent swimmer. However the staff would not let me swim, they wouldn't even ring up their manager to ask. I was very disappointed with the treatment of the staff and how this pool is advertised on maps.
Spent 45 minutes to come here and when i arrived you need to have a yearly membership
Im a tourist and i just have 2 days here so this should be different
Not daily pass
Fantastic 25m outdoor pool in central Bangkok.
An update on the older reviews here as things seem to have changed.
1. The pool was pristine. Clean and well maintained. And it’s location in a park off Soi 22 is great.
2. The changing rooms and toilets were also perfect. Lockers available for 10bht.
3. The requirements for actually swimming are that you join as a member - this requires a photo copy of your passport plus 2 passport sized photos. There was NO requirement for a medical certificate. Annual membership costs 300bht or 150bht for over 60’s. Then 150bht (80bht for over 60’s) per session.
4. Staff were great, friendly and helpful.
Couldn’t fault the experience and I will be swimming here every day that I’m in Bangkok.
The pool looks nice as it has been refurbished. There are few people swimming, so you can swim as much as you like.
However, registration is a little cumbersome. You will need two 1-2 inch photos (3cm x 2cm size is fine), a health certificate, and a copy of your passport. A health certificate was issued immediately at a nearby clinic for 300 baht. Registration at the pool is also 300 baht per year. One admission is 150 baht, which is a bit expensive, but it's a good place for those who want to swim. There are rules such as no sunscreen and wearing a swimming cap, but the people watching them seem lax, so it seems to be okay.
