Praya Palazzo Boutique Hotel Bangkok

Amazing stay at this hotel in a beautiful location across the water:) the hotel offers a free boat crossing whenever you want to get to the main area of the city and you can call anytime to be picked up. The staff were so friendly, especially Rung, who was often driving the boat. The hotels location makes it a wonderful place to unwind and relax. Would definitely recommend staying here. The only thing is it can be a bit tricky to find if coming from the airport, but once you're here, you will love it!

Captain Rung was a wonderful addition to our stay. He made us feel welcome from the first time we met.
The location was outstanding. To get out of the busy city for a respite was ideal. The on call boat service was a treat.

แต่ยังคงมีกลิ่นอายในอดีตตั้งแต่สมัยรัชกาลที่ 6 ภายนอกทาด้วยสีเหลืองนวลๆ สร้างตามแบบสถาปัตยกรรมพาลาดิโอ (Palladio) และยังคงใช้โครงสร้างเดิมในสมัยนั้น มาปรับปรุงบูรณะใหม่ ในอดีตที่นี่คือ “บ้านบางยี่ขัน” ที่เป็นคฤหาสถ์หรูริมแม่น้ำ สร้างในปี พ. ศ. 2466 อายุรวมๆเกือบ ปี

โรงแรมแห่งนี้ไม่ติดถนนการเดินทางมาที่นี่มาได้เฉพาะทางเรือส่วนตัวของโรงแรมเท่านั้น
ต้องโทรแจ้งแล้วจะมีพนง ขับเรือมารับ นำรถมาต้องจอดไว้ที่วัดซึ่งห่างออกไป

ก้าวแรกที่ลงเรือ โรงแรมค่อนข้างสวยคลาสสิค ร่มรื่นมากๆ บรรยากาศเงียบสงบเป็นส่วนตัวดีมาก
การตกแต่งภายในห้องส่วนใหญ่ก็ยังคงความคลาสสิคไว้เฟอร์นิเจอร์ส่วนใหญ่เป็นไม้ ผักบัว ก๊อกน้ำเป็นทองเหลือง

เราจองห้องแบบ Superior แต่ทางโรงแรมอัพเกรดให้เป็น Deluxe ห้องพักอยู่ชั้นล่าง วิวสวน เสียดายถ้าได้พักชั้นสอง วิวน่าจะสวยกว่านี้

3. หมูผัดส้มเสี้ยว ใช้ส้มเสี้ยวมาผสมกับพริกแกงเหลือง ผัดกับเนื้อหมู และมะเขือเปราะ มีรสเปรี้ยวบางๆ (ไม่เคยได้ยินเมนูนี้มาก่อน)
4. แสร้งว่ากุ้ง ปลาดุกฟู คล้ายๆพล่ากุ้ง ทานคู่กับปลาดุกฟู และผักสด
5. ตบท้ายด้วยขนมหวาน อินทนิล แป้งสาคูหนึบๆราดน้ำกะทิใส่มะพร้าวอ่อน แปลกๆดี

A beautiful oasis in the urban jungle. You come to the hotel with a small private boat from Pier 13, where you can expect a beautiful pool, lots of greenery, a dining room with a breakfast buffet in the morning and an a la carte restaurant in the evening. The rooms are air conditioned, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are very clean. We would come back here in a heartbeat as it was the perfect place to unwind after an impressive day in the city.

I called a taxi and got off at the residential area behind the hotel. I was very confused about how to get into the hotel. As you walked in, nearby residents would give you directions and notify hotel staff to come and pick you up. As soon as you entered the hotel, you felt like you had entered a museum. It was very suitable. The quiet environment is beautiful and the hotel staff are friendly. It is very suitable for vacation. If you don't like the noisy urban area, this is a good choice for you.

To access the Palazzo, you have to call their desk and they send over the ferry. Takes all but 5-10 minutes. They make this extremely easy and the captain and crew were wonderful. The staff as a whole were pleasant. While it may not have been as convenient to stay across the river, as opposed to staying directly in Khao San, it was a nice oasis away from the busy city. The breakfast was great, we loved the boiled rice and fresh fruit. The entire hotel only has a few rooms so it’s not a crowded facility and felt intimate, quiet, and relaxing. The pool was well kept and at a comfortable temperature. We really enjoyed the pleasant stay.

Fantastic experience. Excellent accommodations, food and staff. Like going back in time. Very peaceful oasis in Bangkok. Look forward to returning.

The hotel is extremely quaint and the restaurant meals were excellent, as well as the entire staff. Unfortunately, the bed was rock hard, walls paper thin, the bathroom was rundown and the "heated" pool was cold. I do not recommend this place if you only have a short time to spend in Bangkok. The location is not convenient to sightseeing. We did a 5 hr city bike tour and afterwards there was no time to go back to the hotel to clean up and go back out to experience the nightlife since the hotel boat shuttle ends at 10 p.m. And that is the only access to the hotel. The regular water taxi stops running at 7 p.m, which we found out after walking a mile to it.

โรงแรมที่ดัดแปลงจากคฤหาสน์หรูสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์ช่วงรัชกาลที่5 ตั้งอยู่ริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา ต้องเดินทางด้วยเรือข้ามฟากขึ้นจากท่าเรือวัดราชาธิวาสหรือท่าพระอาทิตย์ พนักงานในเรือดูแลเอาใจใส่ดีให้ใส่เสื้อชูชีพเวลาข้ามฟาก มีห้องพัก17ห้อง มีห้องอาหารไทยรสชาติอร่อย พนักงานให้บริการดีมากๆ มีที่ฝากสัมภาระ ห้องพักพอใช้ได้ภายในสะอาดตกแต่งแบบโบราณ เนื่องจากมีผ้าม่านและอากาศเปลี่ยนอาจจะไม่เหมาะสำหรับโรคภูมิแพ้ ตอนพักห้องชั้นล่างได้ยินเสียงเดินของชั้นบน มีสระว่ายน้ำขนาดเล็กและพูลบาร์ที่มีช่วงเวลาลดราคาเครื่องดื่มตั้งแต่16.00-18.00 ไม่มีทางลาดชันสำหรับผู้สูงวัยหรือผู้ใช้วีลแชร์

Staying in a beautiful old mansion is definitely a worthwhile experience. The place has a lot of charm, and it feels a bit like staying in a museum, especially spending time in the stylish gallery room. It’s a beautiful and peaceful spot. Service is friendly, but very slow, and it’s not in a convenient location if you need to get somewhere in a hurry.

Parking and riding the hotel boat. Excellent Thai food and service with reasonable price. Our family has a very impressive dinner at the hotel.

Super cozy boutique hotel with an old world charm. The rooms are really nice and comfortable. The entire hotel has a very zen kind of feel and makes you feel at peace as soon as you enter. It is one of those hotels that make you want to spend more time in the hotel rather than going out to the city.
The boat service is also perfect. We never had to wait for more than 2-3mins for it to arrive. The only limitation is that it is available only till 10pm. However, if you arrive after 10pm, you can reach Ban Yi Khan police station, which is 200m from here, and call the reception. They will send a personal to escort you to the hotel. Really happy that we decided to stay here.

เป็นโรงแรมที่มีมาตั้งแต่สมัยร. 5 สวยงามมากค่ะ แต่ไม่สามารถเดินทางด้วยรถได้ซึ่งก็ทำให้มีความน่าสนใจ ต้องนั่งเรืออย่างเดียว ถ้าใครที่ชอบความเก่าหรือโบราณรุ่นสมัยๆนั้นแนะนำนะคะ แต่พื้นไม้ที่ห้องค่อนข้างดังค่ะเนื่องจากห้องเป็นไม้ เวลาเดินจะดังหน่อย ถ้าหลับยากตื่นง่ายไม่แนะนำนะคะ ห้องอาจจะมีฝุ่นบ้าง เนื่องจากมีม่านใหญ่ยาว คาดว่าทำความสะอาดยาก และขาดหลายจุด อาหารเป็นแบบอาหารไทยชาววัง มีการจัดจานสวยงาม ขนมหวานอร่อยค่ะ ถ่ายรูปออกมาสวย เมื่อมาพักสามารถนั่งเรือไปท่าพระอาทิตย์แล้วเดินเล่นไป ป้อมพระสุเมรุ และถนนข้าวสารต่อได้ค่ะ ขากลับโทรให้เรือที่โรงแรมมารับได้ ไม่เกิน4ทุ่ม จะมีเรือบริการฟรีค่ะ
