คนป่วยที่มายังกรุงเก่านอนอย่างคล้ายบ้านเราบางคืนได้ยินเสียงไฟไหม้ กินยานอนหลับ2เม็ดยังนอนได้ไม่กี่ชั่วโมงมันแปลกมากค่ะทุกคืนคล้ายมันผ่านไปแบบความรู้เหมือนกรุงเก่าหรือตอนเราเข้าไปสัมผัสบรรยาศอดีพแล้วปัจจุบันมาพร้อมกันเวลาต่างกัน

Phra Sumen Fort is nearby Phra Arthit Express Boat Pier. Just take a walk and relax with nice atmosphere and see a beautiful sunset. ป้อมพระสุเมรุอยู่ไม่ไกลจากท่าเรือพระอาทิตย์ เดินเล่นผ่อนคลาย บรรยากาศสบายๆ และดูพระอาทิตย์ตกดิน เมื่อก่อนที่จะมีโควิด19 ระบาด ที่แห่งนี้จะมีนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทยและต่างชาติแวะเวียนมาเยอะมาก มีลานออกกำลังกาย เต้นแอโรบิก สนามหญ้าสามารถปูเสื่อนั่งพักผ่อนหย่อนใจ มองวิวสวยๆฝั่งแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา มองเห็นสะพานสองสะพาน ฝั่งซ้ายมองเห็นสะพานปิ่นเกล้า ฝั่งขวามองเห็นสะพานพระราม8 เมื่อก่อนจะมีเรือทีองเที่ยว เรือดินเนอร์ จากหลายโรงแรม ผ่านมาเยอะมาก จะมีไฟสวย เรือดินเนอร์จะมากลับลำตรงสะพานพระราม8 สวยในยามค่ำคืน เมื่อไหร่บรรยากาศแบบนั้นจะกลับมาอีก ไม่รู้ว่าอีกนานแค่ไหน แต่ที่เราต้องช่วยกันคือรักษาความสะอาดสถานที่แบบนี้ให้เอื้อคุณประโยชน์ไปนานๆคะ

ร่มรื่นสวยงามดี. ภูมิทัศน์ในสวนสวย แต่รอบ ๆ โดยเฉพาะด้านหลัง. ควรปลูกต้นไม้ใหญ่เป็นฉากบังทัศนะที่ไม่งาม. ส่วนบริเวณด้านหน้าป้อม. ถ้าเอาสายไฟฟ้าลงใต้ดิน. ตัวตึกราม ก็จะงดงามขึ้นอีกมากมายน

บรรยากาศรื่นรมณ์ เต็มไปด้วยเรื่องราวที่น่าสนใจตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน สถานที่สะอาดปลอดภัยสำหรับทุกเพศทุกวัย

สวนสาธารณะทางประวัติศาสตร์แห่งกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์ สวนเล็กๆ ปัอมตระหง่านตา ติดริมน้ำ บรรยากาศดี มีมุมถ่ายภาพสวยๆหลากหลายมุม

I saw the Phra Sumen Fort only from outside. Further fact: I don't like military museums. I am a person who likes to leave bad things behind me. I like to see the good in persons. Therefore my review is not much of much value here.
The Fort seans to be well kept. It's a good landmark. And when visiting Santi Chai Prakan public park you can't miss it.

An old fort located in a park, beside river. The fort is looking good and beautiful. However, it is closed and tourists are not allowed to enter into the fort.
The octagonal fort is built of masonry on a 2-metre (6 ft 7 in) -deep spread footing foundation. It is 45 meters (148 ft) in diameter, and has a height of 10.5 meters (34 ft) measured to top of the battlements of the upper level. The fort has rectangular battlements on the lower level, and is topped by a roofed heptagonal tower, which collapsed sometime during the reigns of kings Rama V to Rama VII and was rebuilt in 1981 to celebrate the bicentennial of the city's foundation.

ป้อมพระสุเมรุ ตั้งอยู่บริเวณสวนสันติชัยปราการ ปลายถนนพระอาทิตย์ เชื่อมกับถนนพระสุเมรุ ตามชื่อของป้อมฯ อยู่ริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา
เป็น 1 ใน 2 ป้อมปราการสมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระพุทธยอดฟ้าจุฬาโลกมหาราช รัชกาลที่ 1 ที่ยังเหลืออยู่ของฝั่งพระนคร มีลักษณะเป็นป้อมทรง 8 เหลี่ยมสูงสง่า มีช่องยิงปืนใหญ่และคลังแสง ถือเป็นจุดเด่นสำคัญ ของย่านถนนพระอาทิตย์ ในปัจจุบันมีการบูรณะอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อคงให้อยู่ในสภาพสมบูรณ์ และได้รับการขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นโบราณสถานสำคัญของชาติ
ในสมัยก่อน นั้นได้มีการสร้างป้อมปราการ 14 แห่ง เพื่อป้องกันพระนคร แต่เมื่อเวลาผ่านไป ปัจจุบันป้อมปราการหมด ไม่มีความจำเป็น อีกต่อไป จึงถูกรื้อถอนไป
ป้อมพระสุเมรุ เป็น1ใน 2 ป้อม ที่ยังคงเหลืออยู่ ของฝั่งพระนคร อีกป้อมหนึ่ง คือป้อมมหากาฬ โดยยังคงมีแนวประตูยอด และกำแพงเมือง บริเวณด้านเหนือ ตรงข้ามวัดบวรนิเวศวิหาร ถนนพระสุเมรุ
บูรณะเมื่อ พ. ศ. 2554 เป็นประตูเมือง ตามแบบในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 ซึ่งเป็นประตูยอด แตกต่างจากประตูดั้งเดิม ที่เป็นไม้ทาดินแดง สร้างในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 1 และประตูก่ออิฐข้างบน ซึ่งใช้เป็นหอรบ ในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 3 เป็นร่อยรอยแนวกำแพงเมือง แต่เดิมไปยังป้อมมหากาฬ ชื่อถนนพระสุเมรุ ได้นำมาจากชื่อป้อมพระสุเมรุ
มีสวนสาธารณะ ติดริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา วิวสวย ลมพัดเย็นตลอด
เดิเบ่นออกกำลังกายดี ครับ

One of the few old forts still left to survive to this day. It was originally built to defend the old town from being attacked by the enemies from the river. There is also a park surrounding the fort where you can relax and enjoy the riverside view. Nearby there is also a museum that tells you bits of history about the old town and Banglamphu area.

Really Good and Peaceful location. Just in front of canal. Superb scenery and a lovely place. Spend some time with your friends and other people. Perfect place for evening walk and just relaxing. Free of cost entry good seating arrangement so it's sooo good.

มาสวนสาธารณะ ชมบรรยากาศป้อม พระสุเมรุ แม่น้ำเจ้าพระยาและวิวสะพานพระรามเก้า มีต้นลำพูอยู่ 2 ต้น
นอกจากนี้ยัง หาร้านอาหารอร่อยๆกินได้แถวนี้มีตลอดทาง

เป็นแหล่งท่องเทียวชมสถานราชการทีสำคัญของไทย และเป็นแหล่งท่องเทียวบรรเทิงในย่ามคำคืนด้วย เพราะอยู่ใก้ลถนนข้าวสาร
มีชาวต่างชาติมาเที้ยวเยอะมากๆในแต่ละปี

Set in a lovely park on the river, this is the perfect place to relax from the noise and hustle of Banglamphu.

Historical place. One of not many left in Bangkok. The park is nice to sit by Chao Praya river but the fort is not accessible nor has a great deal of information or museum to help explain its significance.

I come often to this fort to read a book or just get some air.
Evenings there are aerobic instructors so you can dance with the ladies, let's burn that fat of the butt!
Further the flowers of the tree are smell very delicious.
The other day I released my boat with wishes from here at the celebration of Loi Thatum

It is closed for public. It will be better if it is open for public. The park behind this fort is nice, located beside Chao Phraya River, many trees, clean and it is free to visits. There is wastafel in the park, small police station. It cam be reach by walking from Khao San Road, also can be reach by bus, taxi and tuk tuk. Becareful if you negotiate the tuk tuk fee, this fort so close from Khao San Road.

The fort looks like a product of Lego, you gotta wonder its military value in the past. Though the park outside was nice, overseeing the Chao Phraya River. I sat there for a good deal of time and it was actually relaxing.

Great park with a great view of Chaopraya river. A good place to relax with lots of shades and chairs. A small river walk leads to the national theater.

แกๆๆๆ สักครั้งแกต้องลองไปนั่งที่เก้าอี้ตัวที่2จากหลังต้นไทร เพราะมันไม่โดนแดด แกมันฟินมากให้อาหารนกพิราบ ฟังเสียงคลื่นจากแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา สายลมเอื่อยๆพัดมาแล้วสบายโครต เย็นใจ เพลินตากับป้อมพระสุเมรุ สร้างมาสมัยรัชกาลที่1สร้างก่อนวัดพระแก้วอีกนะแก แต่แกอย่าเผลอหลับล่ะ อย่าเผลอๆ

I was there at night, so no clue if you can go inside, but the building is nicely illuminated after dark, plus you get a good view at the river (with beautifully illuminated boats and ships) and the nearby bridge.
A warning sign at the entry mentioned pickpockets, but as we were the only people on the surrounding park, I didn't really bother ;)
