Passport Bookshop

Shop looks cute but woman shop assistant is rude and aggressive. I was frightened with her attitude.

Used to be a lot better before it became more of a crowded café. Still, there are some interesting and less obvious titles to browse, both in Thai and in English.

Amazing bookshop with a good variety of everything from new arrivals to the classics. The owners are so kind and very caring people, whom my friend and I enjoyed the company of. Can definitely recommend this place and the Yasmin tea as well:)

A beautiful place with a beautiful couple. I went here with a friend on my last day, just to have a look, since we lived close by. And we ended up staying for hours. I bought 7 books and a net. And I love all of them! It’s such a cozy place and you feel really at home. There’s no rush to go anywhere, and they’re very patient and caring.

I didn’t know that they couldn’t take card, but I really wanted to buy the books. And the kind couple helped me find an ATM. I had to go to 4 different ones - and they were patient and guiding the whole time.

You should buy your books here! Both Thai and English. It’s a good store to support and it’s authentic and nice. Loved it. One of my favourites stores and bookshops! I’m definitely coming back again?

If u are a book lover here is definitely a worth to visit ones a bit small but full of interesting books even rare items, dont forget to take a sip from here ️️

My wife and I buy books in every city we visit and here you will find the warmest couple to assist you. They do not accept credit cards, but they were kind enough to accept USD and even made us a tea. One of the best in the world. This is the place to come if you would like to buy a thai author in English. Thank you!

When I was working in Bangkok, I was a regular at Passport bookshop. The second floor is cosy and quiet. I would spend 2 to 3 hrs reading there. Wonderful memories of this bookshop and will certainly visit on my next visit to Bangkok

Very nice surprising while walking in the area! Nice staff and felt familiar the moment we walked in.

A beautiful little bookshop with a nice collection of English and Thai books and some recommendations for books by Thai authors. The silent cafe on the second floor is a great place to spend an afternoon with a coffee and a book.

Nice bookstore, but the postcards I sent from there never arrived with their recipients! So don’t send postcards from there but enjoy!

Such a cute book shop with a great literary selection. Their tea selection is large too!
