The market is not linked by any bts or mrt. So you either take the ferry or go by taxi or grab. We arrived at 10am by ferry. First we saw the wet market area where there are many stalls selling fresh flowers petals and many of them tied to some strings to form a small garland. We believe these are meant for their local people to worship in the temples. Across the road, there are many shops selling fresh flowers in bundles. You can but a fresh bundle of 25 stalks of roses for 150baht.

ไปตั้งแต่เด็กๆ ไปซื้อดอกไม้มาร้อยมาลัยขาย ดอกไม้ราคาขึ้นลงตามตลาด ไม่มีตายตัว ถูกบ้างบางฤดูกาล แพงบ้างช่วงเทศกาลสำคัญ สมัยก่อนมีแผงลอยริมทางเท้าให้ซื้อของด้วย เดี๋ยวนี้เป็นระเบียบขึ้น ไม่ทีแผงลอยแบบนั้นแล้วค่ะ

Not really sure why tourists come here. A few stalls but most sell similar flowers so it gets redundant very quickly. However if you're walking by it's worth a stop in I suppose.

Prepare yourself for lovely smelling Bangkok. The flower scent is so obvious you just want to gey lost in this place. There is a lot of very different flowers, also fruit and vegetable market and in some places only the garlic and onion for sale.

Half an hour otlr hour for visiting

Traipse along the market and get overwhelmed by the fragrant flowers and fresh vegetables. Whe in Bangkok you have no excuse NOT to visit this wonderful market.

Great experience for the eyes and to get away from the traffic for a while. Never seen so many types of Orchid.
Make sure you also try the river walk adjacent to the rear of the market

Great place to take a break from the crowd of Bangkok where you can enjoy a huge selection of fresh flowers. Nice experience and something different. And actually you can buy flowers in a very good price there.

Well, it is good place to buy flowers if you need flowers:) Personally I would not consider it as a tourist destination, there is not much to look at. Maybe just to enjoy jasmine fragrance (mixed with some less pleasant smells).
