This is the kind of restaurant that used to come to my mind when I thought of Bangkok.
Small, hole in the wall, run by an auntie who also cooks all of the food. Pictures of a yesteryear on the walls.
Pad Thai is very good, not the best, but different from others in a good way. The auntie cooked it right in front us.
Fair prices, but the shrimp Pad Thai has only 2 shrimps. So I would get the chicken option instead if I were you.

A house famous for pad thai. Ordered the basic Pad Thai and Bua Loi. Bua Loy, a traditional Thai dessert, is a soup made with ongshimi in coconut milk (to be precise, dumplings mixed with tapioca). It comes out hot, with chewy raw coconut flesh and chewy ongshimi. It's sweet but salty, so it tastes like a dessert or an appetizer. I ordered the basic pad thai at this house, but it felt like rice noodles. There is no peanut powder, and the taste is not sweet, but it is strangely addictive.
