Opus

Probably the best Italian restaurant I've been to in Bangkok. As it is a high class place, everything is of high quality. The food, wine, and service are excellent. You can't go wrong no matter what you eat. You can also use it for dates. It's perfect for the mood.

Have eaten at LA and San Diego Little Italys and this is beyond par especially considering we're in Bangkok. FANTASTIC SERVICE, wonderful food.

Ate at this restaurant 5 years ago. It was fantastic then, it is still fantastic now upon this most recent visit to Bangkok. Same great service, same great food. Cheers to Opus team for delivering a wonderful dining experience.

Been back many times, and always have a great dining experience. Food quality is great, service is stellar and they have a comprehensive range of wines. Hosted an event at Opus and received many great comments.

Food was great, the server knew how to take care of our specific order. Only issue was it was a bit hot, the ACs weren't working or coping up with Bangkok's heat.

It was a good Italian experience in Bangkok.shrimp were good gnocchi was generous and well done.wine selection was pretty good as well.

Nice dining & friendly staff, randomly ask for wine, and they recommend the best one! Recommend meal: Truffle risotto

Nice atmosphere and environment.
Food is authentic and qualitative superb. Love the italian touch of old movies showed on the tv. Perfect for a date, business dinner or to enjoy with friends.

The Sinnerman cocktail bar can be found on top of Opus. Simply take the stairs to get to the roof. Excellent place in the heart of Bangkok.

Great food and an amazing collection of wines at prices similar to what you’d pay in a wine shop. Everything we ordered was fresh and bursting with flavor. The only thing that wasn’t to perfection was the risotto, it could have used a few more minutes to get it just right. Now that’s not to say the flavor wasn’t outstanding. The lobster was spot on. Often when it comes with pasta it’s overcooked, but not at Opus, it was juicy with a great grill taste. I’m not sure if they use live fire to cook but a lot of the dishes had some great smoky flavors that usually comes with cooking over wood or charcoal. I was amazed by the wine selection and once I started to look at the prices I was even more amazed. I told my group that I’d be happy pulling up in a comfy chair and just sitting in the wine room sipping away on the wine. The service was top notch and the waiter effortlessly bounced between Thai and English. There’s also a decent amount of parking on-site, but on a busy night I could envision it being full. My only complaint is that I didn’t come to Opus earlier. A strong recommendation if you enjoy great Italian food and or Italian wines that you don’t offer see in BKK.

Service absolutely terrible. There were two customers including me and four staff. One was drinking something, one more playing phone, another wandering around the shop and the last sitting in the corner. Nobody coming to take my order. Food was so-so. Half of positions in menu missing. Such a joke.

One of our BEST EVER Dining Experiences in Thailand!

My wife & I have visited Thailand more than fifty times since our first trip here in July 1991, and during each visit we enjoy a splurge or two at fine dining restaurants.

It was almost exactly nine years ago since my wife & I had first (and last) dined at Opus Wine Bar, so we decided to make a reservation for dinner on Saturday, March 19 to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary, and throughout the evening we were very glad we had done so.

After being seated, we were given complimentary glasses of Prosecco (as we remembered was done when we first dined at Opus in March 2013).

We took our time perusing the extensive menu, and decided to start with Homemade Tagliolini with Canadian Lobster to share (coincidentally, when reading my TripAdvisor review posted in March 2013 before starting to compose this review, I had written that my wife & I had shared lobster with pasta way back then), and the dish was AMAZING.perfectly cooked lobster, obviously very fresh, and so richly flavoured.

My wife ordered Australian lamb cutlets, which she loved, saying they were the best lamb she's ever eaten (and that's saying something, coming from Australia as we do).

I had French Duck Confit, which, like the lobster and lamb, had also been cooked perfectly, with the duck meat coming off the bone with just my fork.no knife needed.

Service was friendly and attentive, without being in any way intrusive.

We were served a Tiramisu, topped with a candle, for our 28th anniversary dessert.

From start to finish, this was certainly one of my wife's & my BEST EVER dining experiences in Thailand, and we can't wait to return again to Opus Wine Bar.

Very tasty Italian food. I also like the Tomahawk. The cold cuts are really nice and the bread always served warm. Great selection of wine. Staff service is nice.
