Novotel Bangkok Bangna

With the opening of the Yellow Line monorail in June 2023 this very reasonably priced Novotel is linked by the BRT overground system into the City Centre and all the stations that serve different parts of it. The restaurant is good, especially breakfast and staff are excellent. For an affordable longer stay exploring brilliant Bangkok this is a good base.

We only spent one night here. It's 30 minutes by taxi from/to Suvarnabhumi Airport and will cost you B600 each way.

We had room 1311 which had a separate living area & great views to Bangkok.

The room was really good and well appointed with an ensuite bath, shower, toilet and (single) hand basin, plus there is a separate toilet and hand basin near the front door. There are 2 TV's, one in the living area and 1 in the bedroom but sadly no WiFi. Interestingly, there is no bedroom doors, so the living area desk with lamp, faces directly into the bedroom. If like us, 1 of you stays up later than the other, that lamp will be a problem.

It's close to 2 shopping centres, 1 being MegaBangna.
We used the iDrive app to arrange taxi's get around from here & found it worked just as well as in Pattaya and Phuket, and presumably everywhere else in Thailand.

Its bakery shop entitled "Les Délices" deserves to be crowned on the Throne of the Best Authentic French Pâtisserie in this country! I do not exaggerate!

Before was better but now goes the service back. The old staff are still ok but the new staff slowly. The buffet not more good. The food is cold etc.

Over all, ok. The room is clean but kind of small.the pool is old and a little dirty. The internet speed was not bad, hit a 100m download during my stay. There is highway entry and exit just near by, even the city is building a bridge in front of the hotel, there were no traffic jam during rush hour. However due to the building site outside of the hotel, I shared my breakfast with mosquitoes. The food serve is really great, the volume is huge.you can almost feed one american with one order of pasta. There is not a overall switch for all the light in your room.

I am surprised at the overall four star rating for this hotel. This is, at best, a two to three star hotel. This hotel falls well short of the standards that one expects from the Novotel brand.

การที่เราพักและอยู่ใกล้โรงแรมโนโวเทลทำให้มีเพื่อนๆ ๆที่ทำงานที่ novotel และทำให้เราได้รู้ความก้าวหน้าของต่างชาติที่มาพักที่โรงแรมแห่งนี้ถึงนิสัยใจคอกิริยามารยาทของต่างชาติว่าเป็นยังไงกัน

I am stay long period in novotel bangna. December'03 2018 to December'15 2018
Come to this hotel by January'07 2019 and plan stay until Jan. 20 2019
Love there restaurant team.they are very warm and nice to the visitors.

Old hotel. Really overpriced and not 4 stars. Maybe more like a 2-3 stars. The price Should be more 1000-1500 baht/night. And even the food is overpriced.

The pool area is as well old and the pool needs a renovation.

The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. Just that its in a bad location. There nothing near here, not even a 711 store.

The rooms are clean and pleasant, but rather small. You will have to take taxi to go anywhere as this hotel is out of the town area.

Official hotel for my companies bookings in Bangkok. Seems like they take us for granted. Toilet seats had fungus and room was smelly. Although their breakfast spread is really good. And yes, I hate hotels who don't have charging point near bed, this is one of those.

Our favourite since many years, when we arrived Bangkok we stay first week here for all sightseeing tours and shopping tours.

Ideal place for budget trips, Ok rooms on 6th floor.happy and helpful staff very close to Big C mall and central mall
