24Pu Pat Pong Curry and Pad Thai are delicious! But it seems to be a typical Korean taste. It seems closer to the taste you would get at a Thai restaurant in Korea rather than the local taste of Thailand.
Restaurant near Lumpini Park.
The proportion of Koreans among the customers is very high, and the wait is so long that you have to take a number and wait in line.
I went alone and ordered pad thai, fried shrimp, oyster pancakes, and lemon juice.
Everything was delicious, but I personally particularly enjoyed the oyster pancakes as they were fresh and chewy.suggestion
I feel like it was promoted by a Korean acquaintance of the owner.
I threw away half. It's a waste of money
The mayor's birthmark is also better than the mayor's birthmark.
A restaurant with a lot of Koreans and K-pop music. Please eat fried shrimp. It's a shame I couldn't eat Poo Pad Pong curry because I was alone! But the staff kept looking at me eating shrimp tea and seaweed. Well, they're just talking to each other and saying goodbye. ^^~~~
This is seemingly a popular place for tourists. I came around lunch time and the restaurant was filled with mostly Koreans. A long line quickly formed and I was fortunate to skip that so i suggest making a reservation especially for large group. My colleague and I ordered catfish salad, oyster omelette, fried morning glory and we had a pandan jelly drink each. All dishes were cooked to satisfaction and we have no complaints! Deep fried catfish were so crispy and tasty, the texture went so well with the salad that had the right citrusy taste. Oyster omelette - the sweet potato crisps were flavorful and it came with lots of oysters to go with. The crunch of the morning glory were just right and not too soggy. The pandan jelly drink is rather sweet but it reminds me of a childhood agar agar dessert we always had and it brought back pleasant memories.
Overall recommended, and I will come back again to try their other dishes.
This is a house I went to after being hooked on YouTube and blogs.
I was told to wait, so I waited outside on a hot day, sweating, when a friendly local visitor saw me inside and suggested we join, so I went in, and only then did the staff guide me to the 3rd floor.
The 2nd and 3rd floors were empty, and the bathroom on the 3rd floor was used by guests downstairs.
I want to see the face of someone who says this food is delicious and blogs about it as the best restaurant in life. (I’m not picky about food)
I have no intention of returning.
Most of them are Koreans, the taste is average and the price is above average. I don't know if it's worth going and eating.
A good Thai restaurant within walking distance of Lumpini So Hotel. No menu failures. There is air conditioning. I'm waiting. Delicious. No cockroaches. ^^;;;
There is a reason there is always a line outside the restaurant.such good food they have! Very friendly and helpful staff, massive menu, yet we got food very quickly in a full restaurant
soft shell crab in curry was heavenly!
reasonable prices
I went at around 1: 30 for lunch, but all Koreans were waiting, so I waited for about 30 minutes before I ate.
There are up to 2 floors, so the turnover rate is good and the inside is cool.
I ordered Pad Thai, Poo Pad Pong Curry, Chicken Wings, and Morning Glory.
I don't like vegetables, but Morning Glory was really good. Hahahaha. I liked the Poo Pad Pong curry, but my husband said it was a bit greasy, and since we tend to drink a lot, we ordered 2 tteengmoban, and you can order 1 cup for 2 people.
Both of them barely ate half and leftovers *^^*
Anyway, it's worth the wait ㅠ Delicious~~
Since it's a T-membership affiliate, I hope you get a discount on Pupatpong curry.
It looks like a store in Korea.
I visited twice, and there were only Koreans in the store as well as those waiting during the day, and there were other foreigners when I visited after 19: 00.
All the food is delicious, and the service is top-notch when you see the waitresses putting their chopsticks on the table with care.
They even packed the leftovers for me.
The honest strength is the T membership discount hahaha
It seems like a Korean restaurant because only Koreans go there.
Taste is mediocre. Hahaha Those of you who have been to Sompoon Seafood, I
You'll know what I'm talking about haha
After paying the bill, the owner gave me a small bowl.
Thank you for the souvenir.
I have a pretty good time here, I enjoyed the food, this restaurent have very fresh food.i have been food poisoned and after i was scared to eat anything from thai restaurent when traveling, but at northeast everything was good and healthy very clean, Northeast are my favorite thai restaurent.
The two of us ordered 3 menus and the portions were quite large. The taste is also fine. It was nice that the bupatppong curry was discounted by sk. Because the quantity of the rice cake is large, usually two people order one cup, but since the weather is so hot, it would be nice to have one cup per person and take it out and drink it while carrying it around!
If you want to feel like you are at an authentic thai restaurant with amazing food in the middle of Seoul, South Korea, but you are actually in the middle of Bangkok, Thailand, then this is the place!
The reason why its a big spot for koreans is because its been frequently highlighted in korean media and social media (blog posts). Trust the koreans' sense of taste, its a good place.
Popular items are crab curry, fried chicken wings, and shrimp fried rice, as well as the watermelon smoothy/drink. I personally think the crab curry may be a bit overrated, still worth getting though - i just find its lacking something, maybe a bit of spice. The fried chicken wings are fantastic, wasnt expecting it as i tend to not be crazy about fried chicken. All the shrimp is cooked perfectly and are large.
I visited here twice on a trip it means here is really good restaurant. Pu phat phong Curry is the best in this restaurant. It’s a three-minute walk from Lumpini Park so you can wander around after have it.
Pupatpong. Shrimp Fried Rice
It feels like Itaewon in Bangkok, but it's one of the top places to eat.
I think it's a place that competes with taste.
Recommended by local driver randomly so decided to give it a try. Food was surprisingly good and flavourful, especially shrimps here are big and springy. Most of the customers here are locals and korean? But nevertheless the taste is a 5 star and price is pretty reasonable.
I took my friends, but they gave me a 50 baht tip for choosing well.hahaha
All of my friends say it's so delicious, but I think it's a bit like a Korean restaurant, so I'm giving it 4 stars. All my friends are 5 stars.
Ttaengmoban is really delicious, and the Pupatpong curry is also delicious!
The fried chicken wings are a must
And the tom yum goong here is insanely delicious.
