Nice Custom Tailor

Go see my man Mr Govin, he custom tailored me a suit and some shirts. Super fast and delivered to my hotel. On my next trip to Bangkok I’ll absolutely be back.

There are hundreds of choices for custom tailors throughout southeast Asia but this one stands out. For one thing, there isn't someone on the street in front of the shop like a carnival barker insisting you come inside. For another you are expected to buy what you want and not what they want to sell you. Fabric selection is very good, especially for a small shop, and pricing is very fair.

We were assisted by Govin, who provided good suggestions and excellent guidance. We were on our last full day in Bangkok and figured that we'd need to have our clothes sent to us. However, Govin confirmed that he could have our 8 shirts ready the same day. Fantastic!

We arrived shortly after the shop opened at 9: 00AM and came back at 7: 30PM for our final fitting. All but one shirt needed minor adjusting, which turned out not to be a problem. Our adjusted shirts arrived at our hotel around midnight (as far as I can tell, these people work 24/7).

A great experience overall and if you're in the market for any custom clothes, I would encourage you to see Govin at Nice.

Had a great experience with Govin (tailor/salesman). Patient to answer my "newbie" questions and gave advise.

I felt it was a quick and precise sizing. Then next day the suit, shirt and pants was ready.

I can't remember was it same day fitting to make some personal adjustments. But it was fast.

5 star service from Mr Govin. 3 of us went there to get our suits done. 3 different personalities. Mr Govin was very patient answering all our questions. We went in on Monday, and by Friday all were ready.
