Neil's Tavern Steak & Seafood

The food was good and the ambience as well. This place is known for its steak. I ordered lobster and it tasted good.

Good steaks and various scallop with truffle highlights. Valet Parking service. Would be good if owner would invest in staff to improve English skills because this Restaurant has many foreign customers. Misunderstandings with Salad Sauce and Wine happen every time I visit this place. Anyway one of my favorite Restaurants in Bangkok CBD.

Escargots are amazing.onion soup and smoked duck was good.beef was also pretty good.my girlfriend loved the truffle one.red wine sauce could be improved but the beef was yummy.maybe it's just too strong of a red wine taste for me:) my girlfriend loved the blue cheese sauce that came with the side salad of the steak.the cooked veggies were also pretty tasty but we would have preferred some extra butter and flavour in the baked potato, altho it was cooked to the perfect texture.our dessert, baked alaska with blueberry was absolutely amazing.i loved it! Will come back just for the dessert.when i ordered the onion soup we asked if it came with bread on the side, they said yes but when it came it didn't come with bread, and when we were done having our appetisers they removed our basket of bread without informing us and when we asked for more bread they charged us, which i think was just some miscommunication but still was a little annoyed, but our main server was very polite and nice:)

I never try the food here, but I recommend the cafe here. There are many selections of cake to have for yourself and for other as a present.

I'll talk about the food, but the atmosphere is really what sets the mood. Then you get amazingly tasteful food, and your night just can't go bad.

I've been going there for over 30 years. Always excellent food and service. Ambience is like no other in Bangkok. I will go there again.

Old great place. All menu are incredibly reliable! Steak here is seriously well made. The beef quality, cooking, resting made very tender and juicy steak. The experience is well match the price.

Excellent service and amazing cooked to perfection Steak dishes. Comes with a price tag but you get what you pay for.

I will five 5 instead, but after the dad hand over to son things change dramatically, no more raw beef showing b4 cook, never order certain soups in the menu although services still good as it get, still a good romantic place for steak and wine.

My steak was excellent, 5*. My meal came with a salad and potato. When I asked what my potato was it was only french fries, very disappointing. The salad although small came with a nice honey mustard dressing but there were a few choices. 5* atmosphere, 5* pricing, 2* for presentation which includes a lack of choices for potatoes. 1600+฿ which includes service and vat tax. Too much money I thought.

Bought 12 different pieces of cakes. I had Almond Paline and I like that it wasn't too sweet. Cake is fluffy, not going to make you feel too stuff

Old fashioned food for old fashioned crowd. Food tastes quite good with very homely appearance. Service is friendly at the restaurant but very poor at the Bakery. Fifty years of existence has caused complacency.

I ordered my steak medium. First time it came out blood red and cold in the middle (use a god damed meat thermometer if you don't know how to cook a steak). I sent it back asking for it to be cooked medium. The second time I got it, it came back well done. I refused a second steak. If you are a renowned steak house (celebrating your 50th anniversary) and you can't cook a filet mignon medium, you will never see a second 50 years.
