蚵仔煎Nai Mong Hoi Thod

A small restaurant located at Yaowarat (Chinatown). The crispy oyster omelette is quite unique taste - oyster just placed outside of a crunchy crispy omelette. The soft oyster omelette is where the oyster is fried together with the omelette. We also tried the crab fried rice which was also tasty.
It's good that they come is S, M, L size. So good for solo or sharing in a bigger group.
Price is reasonable. A Michelin guide to visit this place!

Arrived at 5.05pm and I had to wait 10 mins for a table. Partially due to some customer who refuse to vacate their tables even after finishing. You can tell that the owners are very patient folks.

Ordered a small plate of fried rice and crispy oyster omelette (yes I prefer the crispy type to the gluey ones). Total cost 200 baht.

The fried rice got some wok heat. It came with some crab meat, unlike the one you get at Here Hai that came with an insane amount. Oyster omelette could’ve been more crispy but the oysters were plump and very fresh. The chilli sauce provided actually helps accentuate the flavour of the omelette, just a little spicy but very sour. Nice.

All in, well deserving of the Michelin Bib Gourmand nod.

I’ve never had an oyster omelette before so I have no comparison but we loved it. Got a soft and a crispy. Had to wait in line for a few minuets because this joint is popular. Service was great. A very gloopy shloopy dish.

Highly recommend so I checked it out.
I was not disappointed.
Two styles to chose from, the crispy and the gooey style. Unlike the typical thin crispy style, they serve a thick crispy batter and lay the fat juicy oysters on top.
For both, the oysters are fat and juicy! Most importantly, fresh and its does not gave u the fishy after taste.
So good, we ordered a 2nd round.

Very disappointed with 'Poor hygiene'!

They didn't wash their dishes, they discard the left food from customers who don't add sauces. Then, they just wiped with clothes and put the foods into the dishes.

Authentic Chao Zhou （潮州） 蚝烙, with a generous serving of Oyster. Great taste and good value for money. Pardon the atmosphere, as it is street food.

I've had better oyster omelet. If you must, try their crispy oyster omelet or #1. The service was quick and no wait.

Crab fried rice was good. The omelette not so special in my opinion.
Pleasant meal after all for a all hyped up Michellin listed.

ร้านหอยทอดและออส่วนย่านเยาวราช ร้านนี้มีออส่วนอร่อยที่สุดที่ผมเคยกินมาในชีวิตนี้เลย เคยกินครั้งแรกเมื่อสิบปีก่อนสมัยยังไม่มีรถไฟฟ้าผ่าน สิบปีผ่านไปกลับมากินอีกครั้งก็ยังคงอร่อยเหมือนเดิมครับ ในส่วนของราคาอาจจะดูสูงแต่เมื่อเทียบกับคุณภาพแล้วมันคือราคาที่เหมาะสมแล้วครับ ข้อเสียเดียวของที่นี่คือบางช่วงคนเยอะมากต้องรอจนเหงือกแห้งเลยแหละ

Very friendly staff and owners even though it’s a well known shop! The pancake itself was delicious I ordered the plain pancake not the crispy one, the texture is a bit different than what I usually had in Hong Kong it’s more mushy and little chewy which I liked. Oysters are fresh and taste was also very yummm. Remember to add pepper in it, it will take its taste to another level!

Very nice and juicy oyster omelette. We tried the crispy and the wetter version. Both were quite good. Chilli sauce could be better. And for 100 baht for the small portion this is really street food haven

I am not oyster person but my gf loved it so much.
Another star lost due to environment is small and hot.

แต่ที่อยากให้สนใจเป็นอย่างมากคือรสชาติ อ่อลั่วะ เป็นหอยนางรมทอดแบบกรอบ โดยจานนี้จะแบ่งเป็น 2 ส่วนคือตัวแป้งที่เป็นฐานข้างล่าง ซึ่งทอดมาได้กรอบมาก ปรุงรสชาติได้ดี ไม่มันเลย ในขณะที่ตัวหอยนางรมที่ราดเป็นน้ำข้นเหมือนกับราดหน้าฮ่องกง ตัวหอยนางรมมีขนาดใหญ่พอดี สดมากกก และหวานมากเช่นกัน พอกิน 2 ส่วนร่วมกันเป็นรสชาติที่ลงตัวมาก ยิ่งเติมรสชาติด้วยซอสที่ให้มาแป๊บเดียวก็หมดจานแล้ว

YUM brunch! Tried the crab fried rice - delish and lots of fresh meat. Crispy oyster dish isn’t an omelette it was a fried batter. Still it was a nice texture against the big plump warm oysters and the magic sauce on top. Photo of the 100b small plate

Totally unique fried oyster

There were 2 kinds of fried oyster - crispy and soft.
I have tried crispy one. Their big size oysters were fresh and juicy. It blown out in your mouth for every single bite. Their crispy omlette pancake also great. I recommend you all to try it with their ground pepper. The aroma and flavor would be increased to maximum.

One of the best Oyster Omelette that I have ever eaten. Oysters were big, fresh and just burst in your mouth. Boss was friendly and service was fast and attentive. Also got their Michelin 2022 rating.

The crispy oyster omelete was super legit! Crispy bits were crispy yet not burnt (you will understand better if you have tasted the 2 extremes of taiwanese gooey version & singaporean/malaysian somewhat burnt version. Topped with a good dollup of large sized fresh oysters stir fried with spring onions! Very nice, didnt feel oily at all after finishing the whole plate.
