It's next to Wappo.
I recommend you to go there as well.

100 baht per person (general adult)
There is a free audio guide.
However, please note that you will need a passport or driver's license.

All of the exhibits are carefully thought out, allowing you to experience Thailand's history and culture not only visually, but also through small experiences.

What I found particularly interesting was the school lessons.
I couldn't help but compare myself.

Very nice museum with supportive staffs, clean and modern. The museum rooms are having interactive designs with different activities so you wont get bored visiting. Location is perfect, with an MRT right below.

Highly recommend

Just nearby MRT station Sanam Chai, if you take MRT to visit Bangkok historical sites, it's definitely a good start from here, and then you could take tricycle-taxi to visit other temples or palace

It's fun to go, there are some games that come back like when I was a student. Going with friends is more fun.
The location is near Wat Pho temple, so if you have time to visit, it's ok.
There is a place here where you can wear Thai clothes for free, so you can choose clothes to take virtual photos without wasting a lot of money. It's just that the items are a bit small. Styles of all Thai ethnic items.

If you want to know briefly and strongly about Thai culture, go here!
It would be good to add it to the itinerary along with a tour of Wat Pho or the Grand Palace.

It's a small three-story museum, but it's worth it.

Highly recommended

Fun and Interactive, reasonably priced museum with great AC! You get a good audio guide which keeps you informed in this very insightful museum! Even though we had spent 3 weeks embracing Thai culture, we learned a lot! Would recommend

Very interesting museum on Thai culture and above all what does it mean to be Thai
I loved the concept and the way
The museum is fun, each room invites us to participate to integrate what Thai culture is
Adults and children awaken their curiosity by being an active member of the exhibition
Special mention also for the temporary exhibition on fast fashion and the impact on the environment
The museum is easy and quick to visit if you wish, very reasonable price
I recommend during your visit to Bangkok

Introducing Thailand's culture and history, a free tour guide is available. It is worth visiting for those who are interested in Thailand's development, and the total duration is about 1.5-2 hours.
In addition to the regular exhibitions, there are also special exhibitions on the first floor that are also worth seeing.

Mandatory stop, highly recommended. Tired of seeing temples in the heat of Bangkok, a museum on the history and culture of Thailand is appreciated and also in such a pleasant way.

The museum is full of interactive elements and there is a free audio guide with admission.

Highly reccommend this place as its an amazing way to discover Thai culture and learn more. Its very well thought out with a logical timeline, nice facilities and more.

Very pertinent exhibit "Thainess". At a time when the soul of Thailand is fading to vulture capitalism, the traditional beauty is disappearing. Quality is slipping, hospitality is decreasing, creativity inexistant.

This museum has very good modern interactive exhibitions about thai culture, mostly over the last 150 years. The staff is very helpful and there is a very good audio tour included with the entrance fee of 200 baht.

Brilliant museum with interactive and informative exhibits. Kept me and my 10 year old interested and entertaoned. Well worth the 200 baht entrance fee.

Probably the best museum I have ever been to, as the exhibition "Decoding Thainess" was super well managed. Congratulations to the curator! We learned a lot about Thailand and the culture and spend about 3hours in there and had so much fun. The information were well presented, the audioguide was perfect and also, it was done with lots of self humor that made us laugh out loud, for real! It cost 50B for students including the audio guide, they had lockers and nicely clean toilets.

Out of our expectation, it was a fun and entertaining experience in a museum. As you can see from the pictures, there are not only exhibits of things in Thailand, but also games and activities that visitors can participate in to get a deeper understanding of the question - what makes Thailand 'Thai'?
It's definitely worth your visit.

The museum is centered around discovering Thainess through the ages and its pillars. There are interactive sections, playground as well as Thai cosplay section. I visited the museum on Thursday afternoon and was granted free admission. The unsual thing is that you start the tour on the third floor and walk your way down the ground floor. Overall I really enjoyed my time here

The audio guide and the locker are free.

The toilet is well maintained but has no paper towels.

There is reasonable air-conditioning in most rooms.

The somewhat short exposition tries to be inventive in depicting the Thai people and their everyday life, customs, and beliefs.
