MEZBAAN RESTAURANT reviews
43Such a nice location at Bangkok Soi 11, Specially after having the meal you can chit chat with your fnf in the open place in front of the restaurant. Specially you can park your car nicely. Food was too delicious and reminds me, my country taste. Finally the warm wishes and cordiality makes me overwhelmed.
Please be careful when you order from this restaurant. I had ordered egg fried rice and chicken chilly. On receiving the order I found that they had just mixed chunks of chicken in the rice and sent it. When i up called the restaurant, Mr. Mahmud Hassan said that my interpretation of the dish was wrong and that they had been serving this as chicken fried rice and not chicken chilly as shown in the menu. Please read their menu carefully. Also please note that the food seems to be stale. The food emits a very strange odour.
Extremely disappointed with the proportion of the food that they delivered, we ordered two khichuri, mixed vegetable, aloo bhorta and their special chicken jhal fry. The taste was good but the amount compared to the price they charge was too small! We are not tourists here and we are familiar with the other bangali restaurants where infact they serve greater proportions at almost the same price! I really hope that the management would look into this matter as it does not give a customer any pride to write something negative about a restaurant without a reason.
Nice place to find Bangladeshi food.we went their for our supper. In that time lots of people were taking their food. Their Beef kichuri was pleasant.
I went to the restaurant and ordered only a grilled vegetable, take away. I expected it to be ready maximum within 10-15 minutes. Waited for about 30 minutes. And I could not wait anymore, so I left. Maybe kitchen was too busy. I paid 140 baht in advance, was too frustrated even to ask for a refund. Sad!
Mr. Hasan is Owner (Nice Man with good personality, Successful, Honest Businessman) of this Restaurant. His family also take care and very Quality Bangladeshi Food serve here. Excellent Deshi Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner I personally and with family tasted many many times. This Restaurant located Sukhumvit Soi 11, Hotel Ambassador Bangkok, adjacent (just 1 Minute walk). Bangladeshi don't miss to check taste from here, specially Whole Fish, Bhorta and Shakh. Mr. Hasan have Travel Agency and co-operate also for Tour Plan all over Thailand, Hotel Booking, Etc.
Tasty Bangladeshi food, but VERY expensive for the portion size. Cost per portion is worse than what you would pay in London or NYC.
Not good for the price you pay. Food quantity is less and taste is also not great. Better hotels are available than this.
Very expensive food. I could have eaten 3 mcdonald's signature Burger with the money I spend there for a meal.
Best among the few Bangladeshi restaurants at Ambassador hotel property in Bangkok. Should try this restaurant for good food. Price seems little higher end though. Need improvement with inside settings.
It was excellent and real taste of Dhaka.
- Had the privilege to eat Beef Khuchiru which was exactly how we eat back in Dhaka.
Would recommend everyone to visit!
Barrister Samin Khan.
London, Uk.
It's Indian and Thai restaurant. I have tried the Thai food and it was good for the soup and shrimp but not the fish
Came to taste Bangladeshi food at mezban. Neat & Clean restaurant. Homely environment. Staff were very friendly. U meet & greet with Bangladeshi. We tried chingri bharta, tomato bharta, koi fish & Dal. All the item cooked so well. Final touch with mashala tea. One should try to enter this restaurant to achieve utmost satisfaction. Thank u mezban. Mezban means guest. They will treat u like guest.
Worst indian restaurant in Bangkok. We just ordered from Mezbaan through foodpanda. Biryani and Chicken Tikka masala are the worst I had in my entire life! I can not call their rice with chicken Biryani! The rice quality is cheap and taste is not good. I hope they can work on improving their restaurant, otherwise, they should close it completely.
Great Thai and Indian food, pretty affordable. Great service. Staff was helpful and friendly. Love the tom yam. Would recommend.
I ordered chicken korma for 220 baht, for delivery, and received a tiny amount of food (see pictures). I called and spoke with a Mezbaan employee and they agreed to send more food, and they proceeded to send an even smaller serving of chicken korma (pictured). They were nice on the phone, but their serving sizes are a slap in the face. I would not recommend ordering food from this restaurant, unless you have money to spare and the appetite of a child.
The reason of 4star is because lf the lady sits as a cashier (Not waiter).
She keeps bragging and does not know to behave with customers.
Food worth it.
Tawa roti and jhal fry must try
The best Bangla restaurant nearby Ambassador Hotel. Food is very good. People who cannot think lunch or dinner without Bangla food is actually a very deserving area. More importantly, u will get a wide range of bhortas!
Food was ok, place a bit hidden. Menu didn't have a lot of choice and decor was a bit rundown. Food we did get though was good, though didn't stand out. Lots of Indian restaurants in Bangkok, this one offered nothing special, though if nearby maybe worth a try
Absurdly overpriced.
The food portions they offer is almost 1/3rd of what is offered traditionally in Bangladesh. And the price is almost double.
