33 This restaurant is a traditional Thai food, it's a 米其林店, it sings Thai songs, the food is good, you should make a reservation first.
This restaurant is a traditional Thai restaurant with live music that sings traditional Thai music
All menus had served with very thai taste. Fish tomyum was refreshing with a scent of basil leaves. I loved banana blossom salad with fried soft shell crab and the other one was pineapple fried-rice.
Try anothers if sweet-taste is not your type.
Booking is recommended.
Price is quite high compare to portion of food.
In my pov this restaurant is probably suitable for family dinner or tourist as an atmosphere's like going back to 90s.however it's good to visit once.
Visited on 8 December 2023.
Ordered the crispy rice noodles in sweet and sour sauce (vegetarian). The first 2-3 mouths were good but soon it became cloyingly sweet and I left 2/3 of the noodles untouched. To be fair, I was quite full from breakfast and hence only ordered this as a main. Please don’t…this should be shared.
Coconut juice was all right.
Overall, this place was old school.
Would I return? Most probably not. There are so many cool Bangkok eating places. This is definitely not on the top of my list.
Service was really bad, and not attentive at all. Not what you would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant.
The waiter didn’t help us at all, didn’t recommend anything, except for the most expensive dish on the menu.
Eventually we ordered 2 appetizers and 2 main dishes (we thought so) one of the main dishes was actually an appetizer and the waiter didn’t tell us anything while ordering the food.
The napkins were just cheap paper napkins which was very weird…
When we left, no one said goodbye or anything.
My tour guide said this was Michelin star authentic Thai, and it lives up to the bill!
I had the appetizer combo and it was all amazing, I only passed on some meat/pork thing.
I also had a delicious soup with veggies and seafood. Everything was presented beautifully.
They had a live singer and musician at lunchtime.
A restaurant worth having just for the satisfaction of the food. I guess Michelin's award for five consecutive years is solely due to the taste of the food. However, considering the reputation of the restaurant and the quality of service, I would never, ever, ever recommend it to anyone else.
It's an old atmosphere, but it was the most delicious thing I ate in Bangkok.
Better than a hotel
One of the best curries I have tried, specifically the red crab and Acacia curry. The beef massaman is also very good, as are the crispy noodles for starters. Excellent price for a Michelin star restaurant.
Everything is tasty but can be expensive. Their single dish meal started at 250 baht.
They have live music in the evening which is like Thai 70s, as well as the atmosphere in the restaurant. I was surprised that they have enough parking for such location. If you come here early, you can park in the back of the restaurant. But if you come here later, you can park on the road in front of the place.
Their mee-krob is a must try.
Good food, good drinks, excellent service, a huge menu and really good air conditioning. When I was there for Sunday lunch they had live music which was very nice as well. All good!
Stylistically this is very old-school which may not be your thing or, on the other hand, you might find quite charming.
Superb food, high-quality ingredients. A bit on the pricey side, but well worth the experience. Recommended by the Michelin guide, and is popular with the locals, having been around for generations.
Traditional Thai food with traditional Thai songs in a great view. They got michelin 2019 and many food awards from Thailand.
High quality food, delicious one. High profile restaurant but with reasonable price. Love to dinning here, while discuss business with my friend.
Very good and authentic Thai food that's presented the old styled fashion. The restaurant is aging but comfortable and clean. For those who like old songs, they will be happy to see a couple of singers performing in the center of the restaurant.
5/5 Services
4/5 Foods
3/5 Speed which.sometimes your order is not coming at all.
In general, this is the place that you will experience a very Thai food in a very Thai style. There is some menu that you don't usually see. So, give it a try.
Ps. They also have live music during our dinner.
Environment and service is ok. But the dishes are very bad & poor, how to get Michelin? This is too far away from Michelin.
Nice space, enjoyed the live band and vibrant atmosphere of this restaurant. Gets pretty full so best to make a booking early.
Damn.this restaurant is absolutely fabulous. Food was extremely delicious and authentic.
Pls make it a point to eat at this restaurant. Superb!
I love travelling and experiencing authentic food from around the world.
This restaurant is no where near authentic. It's a 3 dressed up as a 9. Nice setting, looks higher end, but the food is anything but quality or authentic. Ordered Pad Thai and I can say it was the worst I've ever experienced. I've had better at crappy fast food outlets!
Stay clear. You can get much better food at less expensive prices.
Service.staff was not happy. That tells me there is a management issue.
Local traditional style restaurant with old school decoration and services. Foods are ok but expensive considering the portion. Live Singer was singing off-key.
