Mega Plaza

My son and I came upon Mega Plaza quite by chance. We had just finished eating at the Mala Panda restaurant (excellent Thai barbeque, by the way) and crossed the connecting footbridge to find ourselves at the entrance to this plaza. So we decided to drop in for a quick look. This turned out to be anything but quick, because Mega Plaza is an action figure and game buyers paradise! And this is floor upon floor upon floor.
The collection of action figures is simply mind boggling, shop by shop by shop. Besides all sorts of action figures there are shops selling legacy but fully functional Game Boy units and cartridges (we saw both Color and Advance variants) and also Pokémon Cards and other legacy gaming paraphernalia. For my older son who was with me at the plaza, it was like stepping back in time!
There also a number of shops selling very realistic looking BB guns and also shops selling state of the art game units such as the Nintendo Switch.
Just when we thought these were all the type shops there were, we chanced upon a shop selling leather items! The belts were made from some of the best leather I've seen. The seller was firm on price following a basic discount, but most helpful when it came to fit. He made more than one adjustment on each of the two belts I bought, to ensure a proper fit not just for my waist but also for the loops in my trousers. There's bags and other really nice leather items selling there as well. Going by the quality of leather on the belts I bought, I'd say you can't go wrong here. I don't remember the name of the shop but if you are truly interested, do ask around. I think it's the only one there.
Well, having stepped into Mega Plaza, I simply couldn't leave without an action figure, so I bought one for my younger son.
Great place to spend an afternoon, browsing through action figures and game sets!

I go for the camera market, and it's pretty good - when it's open. If you go today or tomorrow (during songkran) most stuff is understandably closed. Head there later this week if you're in the market for some used gear. Pretty decent selection for sure

One of the top places in Bangkok to get hobby grade toys, (toy) accessories (e.g. Spare parts), figurines, and many other collections of toys. Has a few small watch shops too. Also has facilities for (toy) repairs.
This is quite a comprehensive place for toys and alike but do do your research (e.g. Internet searches) about pricing as even though prices seem reasonable, you do have a chance of getting ripped-off.

ของขายเยอะมากเปลี่ยนจากห้างเมอรี่คิงมาเป็นเมกะสะพานเหล็กรองรับร้านค้าที่โดนรื้อมาอยากได้อะไรสำหรับเด็กๆไปดูได้เลยครับ

เป็นห้างไม่ใหญ่เท่าไรแต่ก็สะดวกในการซื้อของจำพวกของเล่นผู้ชายตั้งแต่เด็กๆจนถึงรุ่นใหญ่เกมต่างๆปือัดลมทุกแบบมีพร้อมหมดที่จอดรถก็พอได้มีทางเข้าสองด้าน

มันก็คือสะพานเหล็กติดแอร์ ไม่ร้อน เดินสบาย ไม่แออัด จอแจ ไม่วุ่นวาย เหมือนที่เดิม (แต่รู้สึกอะไรๆจะแพงกว่าเดิมนะครับ)

ได้บรรยากาศความเก่าแก่แบบมีศิลปะแบบไทยๆ ตอบโจทย์ลักษณะของคนไทยดีๆ ง่ายๆ ไม่เยอะ แต่มีของหลากหลาย

ร้านชนิตา ต่อรองได้ ของดี ไม่แพง แมคโดนัลมีบริการดี มาแต่สมัยบังไม่มีแมคโดนัลมาเปิดเลย

แหล่งช้อปปิ้งย่านวังบูรพาเก่า จากโรบินสันที่เจ๊งไปแล้ว ปลุกชีพชาวสะพานเหล็กให้กลับมาขายของที่นี้ได้อีกครั้ง รวมสิ่งต่างๆที่เกี่ยวกับของเล่นและเกมไว้ที่นี้ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นตู้โชว์ก็ดี รถRCก็ดี เครื่องบินบังคับ หุ่นยนต์เหล็ก กันพล่าต่อกันดั้ม โมเดลต่อ ตั้งโชว์ งานโม งานปั้น งานโหด หายากมาก หายากน้อย เดินเหนื่อยก้ไม่ทั่ว นี้มันอากิบาฮาระเล็กๆได้เลยนะนี้!

ของเล่นปลีก ส่ง กล้องถายรูป นาฬิกา การ์ดสะสะสม และbattle ผ้าตัดเสื้อ แต่มีจอดรถน้อย ชั้นบนสุดมีศูนย์อาหาร มีทีทำการไปรษณีย์

If you’re after BootLego (fake Lego) collectable figurines, video games, toys and anything to do with pop culture then this is the place for you! It almost melted my face off with happiness to find it by chance.

Shopping Center nur für Spielzeug: Modellbau, Modellfiguren (Filme, Zeichentrick und Mangas), RC Cars, Figuren aller Art, und vieles mehr.
Es gibt außerdem noch: Rucksäcke, Taschen, Vitrinen und Präsentatitionsschränke, Batterien, usw.
Eine Ebene für Digitalkameras (DSLR) gibt es auch.

Auch für den Gaumenschmaus gibt es etwas.

Great big plaza with all the stuff you could need, camera, games, toys, clothes, shoes, etc etc many many shops with good stuff for cheaper prices than other places so really recommended to come here. I bought a selfie stuck for my gopor here for 550bhat, a good and steady one but much cheaper than the original.

Analogue camera heaven topmost floor. They even have a shop where you can scan your film for free. And camera repair shops are aplenty but waiting time is months. Also good place for unique, curated collector's items. Picked up a pair of classic leather shoes. Lots of toys. Adjacent is China mall which has great fabrics, Madame Heng (soap) flagship store and more beautiful cool things.
